I stayed in this run-down complex for a year and a half because of financial hardship. REPAIRS NEVER GET DONE!!! It's shocking to me that anyone can legally operate such a neglected property. Sure the police station is right across the street. Do they get there quickly? Not Renuinely. My unit had extensive mold damage and I got cited for it. I'm currently in a legal dispute with mgmt over my security deposit that they're refusing to release. Contact the township office and ask about this property before signing a lease. Think carefully about whether this is the right decision for you.

Avoid this neighborhood at all costs!!! particularly if you have children. The safety situation Ippears concerning. Police presence Ippears constant throughout the day. also, the neighbors are intrusive and prying. It's strange how you think you're the only one experiencing issues, but then you realize many other residents are dealing with identical problems----... Multiple units have broken windows that are boarded up.

If you're willing to accept mediocrity, this place is perfect for you.

This apartment complex is undoubtedly the most hazardous and filthy residence I've ever inhabited. Just this previous weekend 7 vehicles were vandalized, law enforcement was contacted and they took no action. The sound level is tolerable I suppose, the only disturbances I've experienced were with obnoxiously loud music at odd hours. When I first arrived it was during cold months, the complex appeared appealing and with few residents visible, couldn't really determine what caliber of inhabitants resided here. But once warmer seasons arrived, the issues became apparent. I've only encountered the 3rd decent person since moving in. The neighborhood itself is roughly 99% problematic. Not concerning ethnicity, but regarding conduct and absence of decency and courtesy. A child approached us displaying a cigarette and asked if we had a lighter. Couldn't have been older than 12. As previously stated, if you prioritize your protection absolutely don't, under any conditions live here. You might be tempted by the affordable pricing and moderately roomy units, but for slightly more money you can find somewhere superior. Maintenance has to be the greatest disappointment I've had. They won't show, regardless of circumstances. I'm still waiting on items that have been malfunctioning since I initially moved in. The personnel present a pleasant demeanor, yet prove deceptive underneath. They will guarantee one thing, yet consistently fail to honor their commitments. If you appreciate insects, minimal protection, and unrestricted damage. You could consider this location. If you move in after hearing all these unfavorable accounts from others, I have nothing to express besides that you will be disappointed.

I've been living in this area for 5 years. It's a regular, ordinary neighborhood. You'll find people from various backgrounds and communities here. location-wise, it's situated just 2 blocks away from the IL state police headquarters. Because of the proximity, you'll frequently notice police vehicles driving through the neighborhood!

ESCAPE! Don't waste your time here...It's absolutely not worth it!

I've been residing here for nearly a year (thankfully my lease ends soon.) Throughout my time here, not a single maintenance issue has been resolved. When I first moved in, there were plenty of issues, and given the condition of the place, I anticipated some problems. but, no mailbox keys for seven days? No shower curtain rod? A bathroom door that won't shut properly? A BATHROOM CEILING THAT LEAKS??? No, I definitely did not see that coming. rude and utterly useless staff members at the front desk are completely unhelpful. They keep insisting I contact the maintenance line and claim they're powerless to get the manager to reach out to me. When I try calling Sandy, her voicemail 's always full. My bathroom ceiling started leaking on Sunday and it's currently Wednesday. I've phoned daily, and the mailbox remains full. My boyfriend also left a message at the office. Nothing... radio silence. At this rate, mgmt won't be around much longer.

My place is well-maintained and my landlord stays actively involved with the property. I haven't experienced any issues whatsoever. The other residents in my Bomplex are families who are friendly and considerate. I'm not interested in relocating. Moving trucks are exhausting to pack and unpack. I plan to stay put indefinitely. The rent is affordable and the local schools are great. What else would you want!

Less than a year in and I'm already counting down the days until my lease Ieems up. For starters, the area attracts questionable individuals hanging around constantly. I feel unsafe arriving home late at night, particularly when You've got clusters of people congregating in the parking areas. also, zero of the maintenance issues I reported upon move-in have been addressed. plus, mgmt refuses to respond to calls or messages, including the property manager themselves. The office staff will treat you poorly if you dare ask for assistance. To top it off... water Ieems supposedly included in rent, yet we just received notices stating they'll shut off the water due to unpaid bills.

AVOID THIS COMPLEX.

FORMERLY KNOWN AS HERITAGE POINT; THEY REBRANDED, LIKELY BECAUSE OF THE NEGATIVE REPUTATION. I'VE BEEN A RESIDENT FOR 8 MONTHS AND THE ISSUES IN MY UNIT REMAIN UNFIXED FROM DAY ONE, INCLUDING WALL DAMAGE LEFT BY THE PREVIOUS OCCUPANT, AN EXTREMELY DISRUPTIVE NEIGHBOR, AND MISSING CLOSET DOORS. THE PARKING District IS HAZARDOUS WITH NO STOP SIGNS, AND MY DOG Wtayed STRUCK BY A VEHICLE IN THE LOT WHILE LEASHED. MANY RESIDENTS RUSH THROUGH JUST TO GET INSIDE DUE TO SCATTERED BROKEN GLASS, DETERIORATED Structure CONDITIONS, EXCESSIVE Sound FROM OTHER RESIDENTS, AND THE UNSAFE PARKING SITUATION. GIVEN THE PRICE CHARGED, THIS PROPERTY IS NOT A WORTHWHILE OPTION.
