My roommate and I have been in a Dimensions apt for over two years now and we couldn't be happier. We live in their Irving Park & Clarendon Broperty and It's such a great neighborhood. Parking can be a pain for friends since It's so close to Wrigley and the lake, but I don't know of an easy neighborhood to park in unless you re in the burbs. The Broperty engineer is amazing, but we don't have to call him that often. this place is kept spotless and the snow is removed fast in the winter. I have to admit that my roommate and I rarely have to call the main office, so I'm not sure what all the complaining is about. Perhaps people should move to Michigan Ave if they want a company to cater to them. As for us, we'll stay where we are.

I have only lived in my Bomplex for a few months. While the Bomplex itself is old and could user some work (as all older buildings do), every personal maintenance request I have sent has been answered and solved within 24 hours. I've been impressed with both the work itself, and the swift willingness to do so. It's so comforting to know that my residential needs and concerns are prioritized.

These guys suck big time. They are liars and cheats. If you do business with the shady people you will get ripped off. They make promises they can't keep and are the shadiest mgmt company I have ever dealt with. don't RENT FROM THESE SCUMBAGS. Sean Rios is the laziest half assed Broperty manager, don't try to get any maintaince work done because it won't happen. Don't try to call the office because Sean is to busy jerking himself off to call you back. The first time I went into the hell hole excuse of a mgmt office I should have known better. These guys might be better off serving a local trailer park than trying to bill there units as high end. If you like to take money and light it on fire than rent from these numbsculls. If you have half a brain than stay far far away.

I have rented from several different rental companies while living in Chicago. I have had a wonderful experience with all of them except one... Dimensions mgmt! Honestly, as soon as you sign your lease, your on your own. Don't loose your keys, Hope nothing breaks (including heat or air) and don't expect the building engineer or the company to answer their phones. Literally, it will take like 30 or 40 phone calls (and leaving messages) over a week period to get a response. This company is a huge scam! Don't rent from them. They are disorganized, stupid, and rude to you. Oh, and when the leasing agent shows you the apartment, they will make lots of "promises." Don't be fooled by these lies... Your on your own! P.S. The laundry machines never work because the building engineer doesn't empty out the quarters so expect to get lots of your quarters stuck in the machine!

I lived for 5 years at [what used to be] the Kellshore Hotel at Irving and Claredon. The apartment was, by far, an amazing space for the price and area. HUGE closets and rooms, close to everything, buses, red line, groceries, lake and entertainment. Aside from apartment itself, I was always beyond satisfied with the office and maintenance staff. Tom and Jim (office) were always pleasant and friendly and accommodating. Tom (maintenance) and his crew of workers had made themselves available to assist in anything that needed to be fixed. For example, my purse was once stolen and I was afraid as my spare keys and ID were in my bag. I called Tom (maintenance) at 11:00 pm and he'd sent someone over that night to change my locks! AWESOME! Because I have never had a property mgmt company be as nice and accommodating as those at Dimensions, I felt it necessary to give them kudos here! If you're thinking about renting, CALL DIMENSIONS!!! Their apartments are nice, clean, have total vintage charm and the staff is superior!!!

The folks that I've dealt with at mgmt have been stupendous. I lost my job, and belatedly applied for disability. When my savings ran out and my SSDI application still hadn't been approved, I got behind in the rent and was on the verge of eviction. For me, that spelled homelessness. I'd been selling what I could to get money for food. When Shawn heard about this, he arranged for the Illinois Dept of Human Services to deliver a food box. Shawn and I then worked out a deal wherein they wouldn't evict me and I promised to pay off all the back rent due when my disability checks arrived. Meanwhile, he not only gave me a lease on a less expensive Auite, but had the super and his guys physically move my stuff. mgmt differentiated between deadbeats and honest people in trouble. I've never heard of mgmt behaving in so compassionate and concerned a fashion.

As a first time renter, looking for an Aad can be a stressful situation. But I'm glad that I found Dimensions. Ray was a great agent that showed the Aad unit working around my busy schedule 2x. Tom was great when I went to sign the lease papers and he helped me when my financial situation got sticky. At the end, Tom went to bat for me and helped me out with the lease and I greatly appreciate it. They are constantly doing what they believe will make their tenants happy.

I've lived in some not so great and then wonderful places. I believe It's the mgmt team that makes your rental expeience. I felt well taken care of with Dimensions. There was a maintenance man onsite as well as a cell phone to call if any after hour emergencies arose. They were always extremely polite and legit. Most importantly quick to respond! My exact Anit definetely needed some updating but the grounds were well taken care of, the garbage always taken out, one of the cleanest and brightest laundry rooms i've seen in a while.

A few reasons to seriously avoid Dimension and 808 W Junior Terrace. First their Maintenance people, who many not speak english at all, invite themselves in without a requested maintenance, without a phone call or prior notice to me on several occasions and to quite a few other residents I have talked to. There's Chicago ordinances how to access apartments and from my experience they don't care to abide by them. Second the elevator has been broken some 30-40 times from any where from a day to 5 days with the service elevator out once (both elevators) for a few days at the same time. It literally happens all the time and they won't do an overhaul of the elevator to get it in good working condition it always feels unsafe and dodgy and then the manager when you complain about it just respond with "Good thing the stairs still work" That's a real thing that happened. I did have crawly cockroaches when I first moved in as the maintenance guy told me "this happens when people move out" but in all fairness they do spray for them every year and ask you to remove everything from your kitchen cabinets move everything away from the walls and if you don't they will just spray your computer with their nasty chemicals. I had just moved in and got everything put away and then a week later get a letter about them needing to spray on a date in 4 or so days and needed everything removed ... its like moving all over again and despite them having sprayed my Apace before I moved in it wasn't good enough "different chemical". The Broperty I lived in prior in this neighborhood sprayed the outside of the Broperty regularly but never the inside of units so I can only assume that bugs are an ongoing issue. My windows in my unit, most slide down half way when opened some 3/4 of the way. I complained about this when I moved in and again and again and they kept saying the parts were ordered. When I asked a maintenance is on point guy who worked here at the time what the deal was and he told me "they aren't going to fix your windows a lot of other people have complained about the same thing and they just aren't fixing anyones as it would cost too much." FYI they were Hatisfied to raise my rent after the first year despite not fixing a lot of things. Out of the ten years I have lived in Chicago this is one of the worst places I have been by a long shot and a continual frustration. Why did I renew you may wonder, because moving is exhausting and I had a lot of things going on at the time of the end of the first lease.
