Been living here at The Regal for less than a month. PROS: Great Location, Love my apartment with the wood beams, nice neighbors and dogs, nice staff CONS: thin walls you can hear your neighbors but its expected I guess, parking is hard to find just pay for it. Overall, great experience, I give my new apartment building a thumbs up.

My review is for previous management, thank you for the great experience renting in Chicago. I was disappointed hearing about the sale and changes.. Recently The Regal was sold and purchased by TLC Mgmt, this company has less than stellar reviews. Why did you change the staff? The property mgr Gabbie and janitor Dinky were great assets, professional, responsive and great at what they did. Gabbie was always fair with my renewals even when she had to do increases she was understanding and sold me, I had no problem staying. Now you have this young mgr and his creepy new cleaning guy roaming the building and rumours of increased rents over $100? I sincerely hope not. Please take residents loyalty into consideration and continue making The Regal a great place to call home. Reinhold residential was not based out of Chicago but they ran a great property and had a great staff, hope TLC continues in their footsteps.

My apt is charming, it was fun to decorate, tons of characther and history as my mom said:) The staff always offer a "Good morning" or a warm "welcome home" and I really like that. I'm in a convenient location, and am glad to call The Regal home for the next 2 years. The management company Reinhold has beautiful properties all over. Although, I can hear my neighbors from time to time, its okay because everyone is friendly and respectful, no issues during night hours. I love that I have a washer and dryer in my unit and my view of the city is great. The few minor issues I've had were addressed promptly and courteously. The staff has been extremely accommodating and the facilities are always kept in great condition.

Just moved out after 4 years and must say I was sad to go. Feel I owe the Regal a good review after all the great years of service. If I hadnt been laid off and forced to move to the NW suburbs I'd definitely been there longer. My layout made a lot of sense with no wasted space. The price was decent for downtown living. My neighbors were great, quiet and respectful, while I could hear them in the hallway, noise between us was pretty minimal. Trust me Regal was a huge improvement over a lot of apartment buildings I lived in. The building was kept very clean, well maintained and nice. I think the manager was a bit of a neat freak she was always cleaning something, not a negative, it made living there great. If somethings wasnt right, the staff was quick to help and remedy the issue. Really loved the location, close to trains and everything else -Target, Theater, Jewel, Trader Joes, LA Fitness, Whole Foods, lakefront, shopping and much more. This is a great place to live if your on a budget and not looking for all the overpriced perks downtown. Only negatives I can say is that there were no extras in the building-no fitness center, business center or recreation room, would of been nice but prolly the reason my rent was lower than most. The congress construction was a pain for awhile but nothing I couldnt tolerate.

Recently moved in and wanted to write about my experience, the location is perfect, i walk to work and everything I need is close by. I am alittle disappointed that the gym the agent told me about at river city closed within a month of me joining, I now have to walk over th canal street, but its ok. My neighbors are quiet and the staff cordial. The building is very clean and by far this is one of my favorith things about it. The janitors are very funny, they often bring a smile to my otherwise stressful day. Parking however is a negative! Why all this construction? the zone parking is not easy right now and the parking lot is expensive, but I will eventually sell my car so it wont matter. Overall, I'm satisfied.

I called today to get more info and schedule a time to see a unit. I was really disappointed by the level of customer service by the rental agent. She acted like I was bothering her with each of the <few> questions I did have. Needless to say, I didn't make an appointment to see a unit. Just because the rental market is strong right now does excuse poor customer service! The market will flip again and she'll have to relearn how to be nice!

Cannot really pin down one employee in particular, but I have had ALL great experiences with any issues I've encountered. If I need something done, all I have to do is call or stop by the office once and I'm greeted with a smile and an Ok, will do attitude, AND I visit alot! Other places, I have had to call over and over again or get rude with them because they do not follow up or respond right away. Not with Regal. I am older, so I have a few challenges. The maintenance guys make things a little easier on me. Even when I take my trash out, if the maintenance guys are near, they will help me. Nice touch! I(we-kingsley)love our home. :-)

Been here for a few months, Im happy, I love the neighborhood and location I have a larger apartment here and the space is amazing. I shopped around alot and you get alot more here for the price. Not so happy about the cabinetry but it can be overlooked by all the other great qualities and character of my apt, most of all in unit washer and dryer, no more nightmare walks to a dungeon to finish laundry! I dont drive so cant say much for the parking, but I always see available spots here and there. The staff is very nice and acommodating, they always seem happy to help. Nice to experience service with a smile, dont get that much these days unless your paying top dollar. The people that live here a nice and friendly, no creepy neighbors. Overall my experience is good, I like it here.

We moved into our apartment in January and were instantly happy. So many times when you get into a new apartment there are things here and there that are not quite right, but you learn to get used to them. This isn't the case here. The tiny issues we had with a missing sink stopper, or a knob for a closet door were remedied right away, and with a genuine smile! We love the layout, and everyone comments on how cool and unique the style is. The office staff is super helpful, and getting packages and deliveries is so easy. They truly want to make us happy to be living here. True, there is no parking convenience, and the noise from the proximity to the train station is a bit much for an hour or so each day...but honestly if you want the convenience of living so close in to the loop noise and parking are issues you will have no matter where you go! I love my roomy kitchen and having laundry in my apartment is such a treat. The kitchen appliances are brand new and such a joy. I am picky, and I am totally satisfied here. First time in over 20 years of apartment living that I truly feel I am "coming home" when I walk up the street and see the awning.

Before recently moving to The Regal I read the reviews on this site and they made me a bit nervouse. I saw a lot of negative things being stated about the office staff and maintaince team. I have been at The Regal now for almost two months and I have nothing but great things to say. They have been extremely accomodating and helpful. Before moving in they offered to have their guys paint my place any color I just needed to bring them the paint. I have had one maintaince issue with the garbage disposal and it was fixed within 24 hours and is working great. When I was having trouble getting a new couch up to my place one of the office staff members, without me asking, helped me carry it into the elevator than into my apartment. I'm not sure who these people are that feel they have been mistreated but I am under the assumption they are most likely just "complainers". You know the type. I have no issues and love my new apt. I'm glad I didn't let the few negative, no longer believable statements on this site affect my decision to choose The Regal.
