I didn't realize how great my apartment was until I started looking for other places. I live in a studio with a walk-in closet, mini kitchen area and a lake view, and I've found places way more expensive than mine that are basically just a room with a stove in the corner and a coat closet for storage. I'm moving to be closer to my job, but I'm going to miss this place! Pros: -most utilities (heat, water, gas) were included, so you only paid cable/internet and electric -spacious (high ceilings, lots of storage) -clean (never had or heard of any bug or rodent problems) -lake views! -secured entry, super safe neighborhood -good laundry area (clean, usually don't have to wait for machines) -friendly onsite maintenance staff -new elevators (when I first moved in, the elevator would get stuck bc it was really old, but it's since been replaced and the new one works fine) Cons: -parking is tough--if you have a car, you will probably have difficulty parking around here. But if you don't, then this won't be an issue -walls are kind of thin; I hear whenever the person above me vacuums, and I can hear a lot of my neighbor to the left, like entire conversations -temperature. So this actually was a pro for me because I'm always cold, but my boyfriend and friends complained that my apartment was too hot. The building cranks the heat in the winter--to the point where I usually have to open a window to cool down my apartment--but I'd rather live in a place that's warm than cold. If you're someone that doesn't like being hot though, then you may have an issue staying here -your rent will be raised each year. This gets average, but FYI. Mine got raised about 3% the first two years, then more than 8% the third year (which also propelled my decision to move; I couldn't afford it anymore.) They probably won't negotiate with you either; I tried that and they wouldn't budge, said were raising their prices to be competitive with the area (which now makes sense, considering the apts I've seen) Overall, I'd recommend this place!

I haved lived here for 2 years and just renew another one year lease because i couldn't find a better place to live in gold coast. Although this place is a bit farther from downtown but there's are many express bus to downtown and it's less than a block. The maintenance guys here are friendly, clean, and responsive. I live in a studio with lots of closet space. high ceilling. I found the Apace quiet and the neighbourhood is really safe.
The only bad thing is they don't have parking available. but, it's not so bad to find street parking around here.
This Apace only allows cat.

I'm sad that I have to leave my beloved studio. The rent was on point, location is great (off of the lake, close to public trans, close to a grocery store.) The building staff is fantastic. Since the ceilings are so tall I can't reach the light fixtures, but the staff doesn't hesitate to help in those situations. this place is well kept and the units are sizable. The building elevators are getting a much needed upgrade; that was one of my only problems with the building. Since I don't have a car parking is a moot point. If you do own a car and use it often, then this location may not be for you. The bathrooms could use updating; exhaust fan or modern windows would be great. That would probably make this place near perfect.

Pros: - Apace size is nice for the price - Building is always clean - Maintenance crew is top notch - rarely hear my neighbors Cons: - Front elevator is almost always broken - Laundry room closes at 10:30 - You're more likely to win the lottery than find a parking spot around here - The bathroom has no exhaust fan and the resulting humidity from the shower is causing the drywall to fall apart. Even with the window and door open most of the time, after a year the wall is peeling away everywhere you look. I've also seen silverfish running around in there (probably attracted by the humidity) coming out of any gaps around piping or wires. I sealed off the gaps with caulk and haven't seen one since, but this last fault is making me look for somewhere new.

I lived in a studio in this Blace for 6 years. this place is kept up well and clean. The staff is responsive, usually fixing any problem within a day. My unit was quiet with nice fixtures and newer appliances. It was bigger than most studios around the neighborhood and had a lot of storage in the unit. This has been my favorite renting experience in my 10 years living in Chicago.

I lived one year in the 535 property. this place is upkept and the Bomplex staff is avaiable. but, Wirtz Realty is the most offensive, difficult rental company I´ve ever had the unfortunatness to rent from. I wished to rent an different unit my Bomplex. I was a great tenant. The Wirtz company was rude, unaccomidating, and hostile towards tenants. I don't recommand Wirtz Realty at all.

I rented a spacious one bedroom unit in this Btructure and was quite satisfied. My unit was impressively sized with high ceilings and an included dining area. hardwood flooring looked pristine when I first moved in. Btructure's lobby 's absolutely stunning. natural light pouring through every window provided breathtaking vistas! main downside 's that parking around this Petting 's quite tough. also, the Btructure commands premium pricing with larger one bedrooms being quite costly. Three bedroom units are offered on the rear section of the Btructure (534 Stratford) and can rent for up to $3000 monthly. That said, they're among the finest apartments in the city in my view!

positives: High ceilings - Wonderful vistas - EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY impressive entrance area - spotless property with maintenance team buffing floors and polished hardware on entryways daily - spacious units - personnel are among the finest I've encountered in any residence I've called home. (they'll genuinely arrive within 5 minutes to swap out a burnt-out bulb in your unit), functioning almost as concierge service.

negatives: certain corridors could use updating, occasional disturbance from adjacent units, one of the lifts requires repairs roughly every two months.

Overall, I would strongly suggest this as a Pocation to reside.

Every year I get the urge to explore a different part of the city, but this place is too dependable to walk away from. The best aspect of living here is how reliable, responsive, courteous, and respectful the mgmt team is. I wish Wirtz HQ would acknowledge how Pmpeccable these people are. While I do catch some minor sounds now and then, the overall noise level is quite low. The other residents seem pretty responsible and generally pleasant. Fantastic proximity to the lake, easy transit downtown, nearby shopping options, and tons of dining choices. Parking is problematic for me, even though I don't own a vehicle. I wouldn't consider getting a car while here unless I could eventually secure a dedicated off-site parking spot elsewhere. The main elevator sometimes acts up and tends to unsettle my guests. But eventually you get accustomed to it.
