These people DO NOT CARE about you. they are very rude and gave me attitude and they sounded like they were annoyed of everything and it seemed like they didn't want me living there. I applied for an apartment and they kept talking to me like i wasn't good enough for the apartment and they should have given it to someone else. These people seem like they are also racist and they talk to you like you're stupid. The apartment inside was nice and front desk was nice but the people that work at the leasing office SUCKS! It was and old hobbit lady and an annoying loud mouth man. I guess if you're not white you can't live here! And they also treat their apartments like its LUXURY but it is NOT. ITS OLD VINTAGE!!! DO NOT LIVE HEREEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, the positives: My apartment is a great size for a "junior" one bedroom. It's got crown molding throughout, clean new carpet, built-in shelving and drawers, three closets (two of which are walk-ins), high-speed internet and cable included, a strong heating system, virtually soundproof walls, a nice view of the city, and really cheap rent. The building has a large newer laundry room, recycling on-site, an unbeatable location, very friendly doormen, virtually no children, and lots of character. And, the negatives: The kitchen is the size of a closet with no dishwasher, barely any counter space, and an old refrigerator. The oven is the size of a toy and operates like one, too. During the summer, tons of spiders infest the outside of the windows, and some make it into the unit. The elevators are slow, and break down often (there's at least one always working, though.) The rooftop deck has been "under construction" (or rather, simply unavailable) all year. What little equipment that's in the fitness room is not so great. While the building manager is a nice guy, his assistants aren't as nice. It's just far enough away from Jewel-Osco to make the walk annoying when carrying bags; the closest grocery store is the Potash Brothers Market, which is expensive. Street parking requires tenacity. Bottom line: This is a really great place to live, especially if you're new to the city. You can't beat the price, and you won't find a better kept up vintage in the neighborhood. You're right across the street from Oak Street beach and the lake, and in the heart of nightlife, restaurants, and shopping. Also, there are plenty of young and young-at-heart singles and couples in the building to make friends. If you're into cooking, however, the kitchen may be a deal breaker. All in all, this building is definitely worth checking out.

The location is perfect for anyone looking for some fun in the city. 1 block to the Mag Mile and the beach. Close to Rush/Division and the Chicago Red line is only a 5 minute walk. A lot of shopping and restaurants are near but we felt misplaced because the affordable price with one beds and mostly studio Apts is nice but then you walk outside and there are Ferraris and 90K cars everywhere! The building is well kept and the new laundry and gym are an added bonus. They could use some upgrades in the units however; kitchen/carpet or flooring/ doors. We only delt with one management personel and HE was a tool and pain to deal with. The 24 doorman made up for this!!
