This is an amazing and beautiful building in an excellent Lincoln Park location. There are unobstructed and sweeping views of the park, lake and zoo. The building is nestled near Old Town to the south and to the north on Clark, there is everything one can imagine. The units are large and spacious with unique details throughout,-like crown moulding, high ceilings, parkay wood flooring, and thoughtful floor plans. There is quite an inviting lobby with a staff who treats everyone with respect. Plenty of free street parking too. I highly recommend 2000 N Lincoln Park West. A hidden gem.

I first lived here in 1996 and now own at 2000 N. Lincoln Park West. This building, built by Wrigley in 1929, is a classic in Chicago. The walls are almost a foot thick and the floors have so much concrete that you cannot hear anyone above or below you. The views are forever unobstructed and the location is to die for. The residents are well educated and professional. The burrowed wood foyer is impressive and the staff is awesome. Some of the staff has been here for 20 years. This is a place to call home.

I lived for several months at this address, and found the construction of the building a major problem. If the person above or below you needs to use the bathroom late at night or early in the morning, you hear it: loudly. Although I'm a heavy sleeper, I had to move out because of this. Too many post-college young people, who aren't particularly attuned to the presence of others.

The 2000 Lincoln Park West building was a great building before it was converted.<br>Now, the hallways, which were decorated by a young Polish girl are garish. The lobby has the some gaudy feel.<br>Dogs bark all day and the plumbing is a mess. The developer is by reputation the most dishonest in the business. NVG.<br>The residents have a joke--the building is now called "growing up gaudy"<br>

The apartments are beautiful, and the location couldn't be better. The staff were mostly great. There are some dog Nazis in the building, but it is "dog friendly". The amount of construction going on constatntly is unbelievable. There is always noise--from 7am to 7pm, sometimes after 7 pm. You can also hear the people above you walk around. If noise is not an issue for you, live here. If it is an issue then I'd advise you to look elsewhere.

I lived in this building until I got married and moved to the burbs. I loved this building soooo much, that I bought a unit when it went condo. I now rent this #12 unit and want to keep it until my first grader goes to college (or finishes and wants to live here).<br><br>If you can live here, it is the best.<br><br>

I've lived in Chicago my entire life in vintage apartments. The quality of this building is amazing! The rent is a bit pricey but includes EVERYTHING, which is so convenient and the location is the best, especially when you don't drive.I have a dog so the Park across the street and hardwood floors is key!The kitchen was brand new with granite, stainless steel, marble WOW!I was blown away. The staff was excellent, they even helped take care of my dog but I did have a disagreemnet with one of the weekend Doormen.I cried on the day I had to move to NY because I know I will never find a building life this ANYWHERE!

The manager is terrible!! I left a note to allow accees for a service to fed my cats when I was away and it was misplaced. When the service arrived they were denied access by the manager!! MY CATS DIDN´T EAT FOR 5 DAYS! She argued with me that I did not leave a permission to enter slip ( OF COURSE it was found later) and told me if I wanted out of my lease that could be arranged! Even if I had forgotten to write an enter permission--who would knowingly leave cats to starve?? Don´t live here.

NOT children friendly..or for that matter <br>people friendly. Front desk staff and maintenance staff are wonderful, but can´t compensate for the severely incompetent manager. <br>

Terrible experience. The air-conditioners were noisey and barely did the job, the carpet in the hallways should have been replaced 10 years ago, the laundry room reeked of garbage and the managemant was <br>terrible!
