The apartments are spacious and well-designed. The management team at Luxe at Madison is friendly, professional, and responsive. They ensure that all residents are comfortable and helped. It also offers great experience with its prime but quite location.

With the high rent prices that Luxe charges, you can find better apartment options elsewhere in West Loop. Building management has been consistently poor, and maintenance of the property has declined over the course of the year. I have serious concerns about security because key fob devices have been non-functional periodically, sometimes for several weeks at a time.

Management does not respond well to constructive criticism. Maintenance does not show up on time. Management takes way too long or never responds to email or complaint. Only the cleaning crew has shown respect and does an amazing job.

I love the building, it is well maintained, seems like the maintenance staff is great and works hard. The unit itself is beautiful, with big windows and high ceilings. The location is awesome and the dog run is a big plus. The downside would be that getting packages is difficult on the weekends when no one is here, and the building does not help residents if they are locked out of their units. I watched a neighbor go through hell locked out of his unit for 4 plus hours. I've lived in several high rises and never once has this not been provided, even though there is usually a fee and I wouldn't mind a fee for this service. This experience put a bad taste in my mouth, but I am optimistic that management will resolve it.

I've been living at The Luxe for nearly 3 weeks now and could not be happier with my choice to move here. The building is always clean, has an amazing dog run - which was a must for me - and is in an amazing location. I love it here!

To whom it may concern at the leasing office: Note: I have never a toured this building. However, it was necessary to rate the attributes in order to proceed with this review. The rating that is most reliable is the one for staff. I was in the process of applying for a lease. I received an email that the application was "carefully considered and approved", via the LeasingDesk Screening and signed "Sincerely, Luxe on Madison". My credit score is 795 and my monthly income is approximately over 10 x the monthly rent. The leasing manager I was working with, T. F., took my monthly income and divided it by 12 (months), which came out to be 1/12 of what I make per month. He relayed that this number is not at least 3x the monthly rent. Of course it's not- it's 1/12 of my monthly income. We have been going back and forth for the last few days, and it seems we are speaking (living?) in different realities. I am writing this in the hope that I can get someone else to look at the numbers, because I like this apartment and the neighborhood. Someone- please advise me if I am getting my math wrong and I will sign up for a math class at the near community college ASAP.

I find this building to be very welcoming. My neighbors are friendly and kind. The staff here is also friendly, kind, helpful and professional. I love the location. This is my first time living in the West Loop and I would recommend this neighborhood!

At the beginning, this complex was spotless and well maintained. The dog area was cleaned twice a month including cleaning stains. Snow removal was performed routinely using a snow blower even when twelve inches fell overnight. Now the building is routinely filthy and residents call to complain about the dog area and the response is to close it. It is a shame the current property managers do not understand the importance of cleaning and maintaining the building and dog area. I saw the maintenance person who was assigned to remove the snow and he worked for about five minutes. I went out after him found a shovel and was able to clear about a third of the dog area. Very disappointed in the service from this maintenance person.

Luxe is a great building and the price for the area is pretty unbeatable. It is close enough to local restaurants and entertainment but far enough away that the foot traffic is still light on the street. The amenities are nice, there is no pool but it has what you need in a building. I would recommend this building highly for the cost/benefit compared to other buildings in the area.
