Please beware. It's December 2025-I visited a family member and couldn't believe the condition of these apartments. Inside and outside. These apartments are horrible!!!! Everything is OLD and OUTDATED, and falling apartment. These apartments should be demolished asap. Do not move here unless your only other option is homelessness.

I'm afraid to write this review because they may retaliate. Don't believe the newest 5 star ratings on their site, it really is friends and family. It's a shame. The way the leasing manager conducts business seems conniving. She doesn't relate to people. She comes across as unconcerned and mean. Don't fix problems in the apartment, you keep calling to get a run around. I wish there was someone above her I could reach out to but no information is given. It tells me that the management owner doesn't care for the tenants either just the money they give. I believe it should work both ways, that's what make a good residential area, tenants would do more to upkeep, keep safe, and help in general if they felt like the landlord was more concerned.

Nice staff, quiet neighborhood, nice curb appeal. The area is good and the rent prices are very affordable compared to the rent price in that area. I would definitely recommend people to make this the place they would love to call home.

The new manager is spanish she doesn't care about residents she has hired all her family and friends so nothing gets fixed or cleaned anymore she has moved all her family members on property even trying to evict other tenants to move her family in she doesn't organize parking it's filthy outside now the old manager kept outside nice we have no one to come and spray the units anymore for pest and on too of that the fire extinguishers were to be expected she made every resident go to the office and drop them off we have never done that before and we are never to be without that in the unit a fire could breakout anytime she is unfit for her position she needs to be investigated please help us here we all will sign a pettition to get her out and they also hide coporate information so you can't contact them just a bunch of voicemails

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! If I could go back in time and live anywhere else I truly would. The walls are thin and you can hear everything the people are saying and doing next door. The apartments always had mold, ants infested. Air condition is out of use most of the time. The property manager has changed at least 4 times in the 5 years I've been here which should tell you enough about how this place is managed. I was robbed, Safety was apparently a concern as well. One last thing I would strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere while apartment hunting. Also consider your deposit lost money,It's crazy I was charged $694 for worn down carpet after 5 years of living here,Management expected the carpet to be new still, the way management handles things is not okay and it speaks volumes about the people, and company who run this place. We paid $2072 to break our lease and they still find a way to keep our deposit.I covered all of the names.

I've have lived in Walden Pond Apartments since 2010 and my experience hasn't been the best. The community is safe and I've never had any problems with crime or theft. However since I've lived here the office management team has changed quite often. The only consistency is the staff is not educated or helpful. Since the start of 2017 the management has been doing some things around the complex to try and refurbish a bit. They repaved the parking lot but the preparation plan for this improvement wasn't thought through. During the repaving the parking lot was closed off to tenants and I had to park blocks away with an infant. Keeping in mind parking spaces on a regular has always been a problem . The washer & dryers in the laundry facility were replaced with new machines however the Laundry Room facility has been closed and unavailable for almost 4 months now. The laundry facility is a card system to use and you have to load your card with money in the rental office. I loaded my card and none of the staff alerted me not to load the card because the facility was closed, the staff helped me load the card only to find out I can't use the facilities. Maintenance is slow and repairs are always patch work, the problem is never completely fixed. Because the apartments are on a lake the mosquito infestation is terrible. Management used to call the city to provide treatment in the area to eliminate such large numbers of mosquitos but that hasn't happened in a while. The mosquitos are unbearable. My kids and I have to run to our apartment, spray the door prior to going in and out of our home. I would not recommend renting here to anyone. Its seems because the property is a income based rental, management doesn't care about the tenants at all.

I moved here around February of 2014 the place is roach infested they spray once a month but it does nothing ..I don't even know why they bother they need to put a tent over these old buildings.and I'm a very clean individual. I'm sure soon they will be in my bed cause I saw a few now in the bathroom I'm constantly spraying and bombing! Still doesn't work .no rats! Thank god ..if anyone looking to live here be mindful of these roach infested apt. Oh an yes they do raise the rent every 6mths! it's true

I have lived in Walden Pond Apartments for many years and I have seen many management teams come and go, but I must say this management team is absolutely the worst when it comes to common customer service skills. There have been several renters that have been disrespected and essentially yelled at in the last 6 months. I personally have not been a victim to this ridiculousness, but I have unfortunately witnessed it happening more than once when going to pay the rent. Yes for the most part the maintenance has been kept up, but that is because the maintenance team is essentially unchanged over the last few years and they have old habits from the past leadership, which was much more professional than the current leadership.
