Management has changed the due date for presenting rent from 1 to 5 days Grace Period ,too 1st of the month until 3rd after the 3rd of the month is late with a penalty of $125.00 and also forcing tenants to renew their lease three months prior to anniversary of lease, I think this is unethical and a means of soliciting seniors this management team primarily of Ms Linda Johnson whom stated that it came from the regional office. I’m planning on moving after my lease ends, I’m moving after seven years..

Recently moved into this community and I am very pleased with the apartment assigned to me, it is in excellent condition, freshly painted, clean, each unit has new appliances in the kitchen, and new air conditioning units. The staff in the leasing office is very informative and they are friendly and pleasant to deal with, the same can be said about their maintenance workers who respond to service calls within a reasonable timeframe of getting a work order. This community is undergoing full renovation throughout the community and is going to be a very pleasant place to live in. It is also, a peaceful ambient to live in for elderly citizens. Thanks to The Hamlet's Staff for making my new home a great place to live.

The residents here are great however the property manager is very rudy, not helpful and speaks to the seniors with no respect. I would not recommend anyone to this complex with that treatment especially a senior citizen. Nice community, nasty attitude in the office.

The property manager here is VERY rude, unprofessional, unethical and disrespectful to the residents here. The property manager Pam brandt is a disrespectful individual. She shouldn't be managing anywhere because her management skills are very poor. When she is in the wrong she will yell at you and hang up on u. She has been here less than a year and is already being complained about. She allowed her staff to live here with their kids but the residents are not allowed to do that and if they do she will kick you out giving you ONLY 30 days to move with no appropriate notice. I will NOT advise anyone to live here. You will be treated very poorly.

I have lived in this Community for the past ten years. Once upon a time it was very nice. The neighborhood has declined with gangs and ------ people since it became Miami Gardens. It seems that all of Opa Locka and Liberty City project residents all have relocated into The Hamlet. The appliances, carpet, floors and cabinets are all orginal since it first opened fifteen years ago. After the sun goes down, they look like roaches coming out and hanging out on top of the cars and side walks. This will be my last year living here since I will be relocating to Orlando. If you are in a fix income dont waiste your money moving in, because you will not be happy here. Eleanor Management has changed several times, not allowing the residents to

It sounds like you are one of the so many, people that the car got towed away from our community. I realized that the family members who are not making the car note are trying to hide their cars in the community. In an effort to avoid their cars being repo. The board agrees and stands behind this policy to take control of the parking issue. We have a beautiful, community with great people. Our community will not be a storage center. Good luck, and GOD bless you.

As I entered the leasing office today to inquire about an apt for my mother I walked in on a very disturbing sight. The property mgr was yelling at what I assumed was a tenant and throwing a piece of paper at her. The tenant was trying to explain a very delicate situation about needing to have a nurse overnight with her mother who was very sick and needed 24hr nurse care. The manager didn't listen and yelled at the lady to leave the office. I listened long enough to realize that the manager was being a very insensitive -itch to this lady and long enough to know I would never put my mother in a place like this with a manager like that

The property manager is insensitive to extreme senior issues. My mother was placed on hospice a few months after moving into the hamlet and the Manager had no understanding of nurses having to stay overnight when my mother's health deteriorated to needing 24 hour nursing care. She actually issued a 7 day notice stating unauthorized adults were residing in the apt. She has been extremely rude and nasty on several occasions when sensitivity is needed. I would not recommend this place for senior living under it's current management.
