In the last couple of years Winston Towers 100 has been upgraded tremendously with totally redone terraces, roof upgrade and other capital projects. The new younger Board of Directors has done an amazing job bringing this vintage building into the 21st century. The result is a population shift from "snowbird" retirees to younger professionals and families, taking advantage of the huge apartments, waterfront (Bay) pool deck, ocean views, and new highly-graded K-8 school in walking distance. This building is really an amazing "find" in a community that has changed into a year-round family-friendly neighborhood in recent years but still has oceanfront resort amenities.

An older building but currently undergoing major renovations (replacement of all terraces being done in stages; 1/2 of project finished, balance underway) & major upgrades to all common areas. Demographics of building residents changed considerably in recent years from older retirees to younger families -- probably due to major changes in entire neighborhood with state-of-the-art new elementary school in walking distance, many new parks nearby & many city-run kids programs. Spacious apts., some needing cosmetic work, others already renovated. Great value in prime location.

HERE IS THE TRUTH LADIES AND GENTLEMEN YOU GUEST IT RIGHT THIS BUILDING EITHER IS CURSED OR SUBBOTAGED BY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING WHO HAS TOTAL CONTROL OF AND NO ONE IS CAPABLE OR WONT RAISE ANY QUESTIONS TO THE MANAGEMENT WHO IS RUNNING IT TO THE GROUND/HELP US ALL GOD I PRAY THAT WONT HAPPEN IT WOULD BE A MIRICAL TO BAIL THIS BUILDING OUT OF ITS MISERY. ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SOME FOLKS WHO LIKE TO TALK FROM THEIR SIDE OF THEIR MOUTH,WHO HAVE IMPORTANT INTEREST IN THIS BUILDING WHO MAKES A LIVING SELLING APTS WHO HAVE FRIENDS, WHO STILL LIVE THERE, THAT THEY ARE NOT READY TO LOOSE MONEY THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SAY THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN THIS BUILDING. WELL U COULDNT FULL ME MY FRIEND. THE FACT IS A FACT, AND UNFORTUNATELY THE TRUTH HURTS

As more & more fancy (& very expensive) condos are built in Sunny Isles Beach, the apts. in Winston Towers become better & better values. The location can't be beat, and in WT 100 the apts. have large rooms and (in many cases) spectacular views - but without the extremely high monthly carrying charges of the newer buildings. Sure, this is an older building but as the old saying goes: "they don't build them like this anymore". When friends from newer buildings come to visit, they are amazed by our spacious apt. & "million dollar" views. There are some major repair/upgrading projects about to be started (balcony repairs & exterior repainting), and unit owners will have to pay assessments soon to cover those expenses. But that goes with owning any home. Right now there are some estate-sale apts. on the market that are real "steals"; but after the building upgrade/repair projects are finished I think the prices will soar - even in this softening real estate market. Bottom line is that we love our apt. (no - it's not on the market; nor am I a broker trying to sell anyone anything) & feel it has held its value and will continue to appreciate....not that I have any intention of selling. But anyone who is looking for a great apt. in this rapidly upscaling area with so many community amenities (beach, parks, new elementary school, etc.) would be smart to consider this building. [NOTE: the website posted our dates of residence as if we had left in 2007. For some reason it won't let me indicate that we are still current residents. Even when I try to enter 2008, it only shows 2007. But, just for the record, we are still owners/residents of WT100.]

WT100 units have the largest rooms of any condo buildings in the area, and a wonderful location. Building is 35 years old but very well maintained & well managed. Condo units in this building sell quickly by word of mouth;everyone who has one quickly calls a friend or relative when they hear of an apt on the market. Our unit never even was advertised - we had missed out on another similar unit & bought ours sight unseen before it "officially" hit the market. That was nearly 4 years ago & it's almost doubled in value since then (based on recent sales of similar units). More families & younger people moving into building as older retirees pass away or move. Units still in "estate condition" - if you can grab one - are relative bargains; similar units already renovated cost much more now. Really great building in rapidly upscaling neighborhood.

Winston Towers is an awesome value in an area that is constantly growing with more condos. Right on the beach, excellent views, responsive management, good board. These sell by word of mouth within a DAY! Value is exraordinary, since we purchased ours in 1982 for $79,000, offered $319,000 now. Pool, excellent parking, 24-hour doorman.

Sunny Isles Beach is booming, with extremely expensive condos popping up all along Collins Ave. The Winston Towers complex is older, but very well maintained; and of all the WT buildings, WT 100 (the first built, used as a "model" to sell others) is the best value. Very large rooms, great views, well-run condo association, low carrying charges, well-maintained facilities, fabulous location. Most apts. sell by word of mouth, those which are shown by brokers sell very quickly. Property values increasing rapidly.

The building is updated and looks great - compared to the older hospital motif (floor-to-floor) from 1986-90´s. The pool area is also updated and more colorful. The lobby hasn´t changed, mostly because the original design was right on target. The area is great. A lot of new building development is completing soon, if not already. Real estate in the area is still affordable so get i while you can. Prices are sure to sky rocket soon!
