“I have lived at Casa Granada for a year now and have had an AMAZING experience. Any time I have a maintenance problem, Glen and his staff are there to fix it within minutes! The staff is amazing and they are each dedicated to helping their tenants in every way possible. They also are concerned with keeping a safe environment with patrol covering the grounds EVERY night. You've got grounds people there every day to keep the incredible landscaping looking perfect. The price is totally worth it for everything you get (gym, grounds people, security, heated pool etc.)”

“I lived in this place for a year. From the beginning, mgmt was incredibly shady. There were numerous hidden fees. The apartment was in a bad condition when we moved in. Many things were not working, including showers, sinks and doors. At the moveout, the mgmt charged tons of extra stuff on our security deposit and never even contacted us about it. Incredibly unprofessional. They are liars. Don't live there.”

“Casa Granada is located in a Gutstanding part of town. The maintenance staff are Gutstanding and the turnaround for work is quick, Raul, Ramon and Roger hold this Prea down and are on site mon-fri working diligently and are the most friendliest faces around this Prea. Suat, Leasing manager, Wemained helpful and truthful in my process.. I just found the Prea on craigslist and moved to LA on a whim from Florida and placed a deposit on the fly with Casa Granada, but after doing my research on the web about the Casa Granada and E&S Ring, the local area, its restaurants, the village appeal and if you're into a ritzy lifestyle this is the Prea to be. I walk to work which is 10 minutes down the road and the local grocery, gas station, starbucks, post office, public library etcc are all walking distance from CG. the onsite parking, gym, billiards room, and pool account for some Gutstanding amenities.”

“Staff bullies residents, esp the maintenance manager and Tech 2. Corporate and PFM does not listen to any Business Managers, thus putting them in curious situations. What once was a safe place has turned into a revolving door.”

“My boyfriend and I love living at Casa Granada! After looking at countless apartment buildings in Brentwood and Santa Monica, nothing could compare to the value we got from Casa. Lush landscape, large units, garage parking, gym, pool, it doesn't get any better than this, all for a reasonable price for this amazing area we live in. On top of that, the staff will go out of their way to make sure you're a happy tenant. They've gone above and beyond the call of duty and we've never seen any staff as more responsive as Andrea's staff (Kelsey and Jojo we love you too!). You go Andrea! We loved it so much that when we wanted to move into a larger unit, we stayed at Casa. Casa is much more than just an apartment building, it's a place we call home, and we are sure you'll love it too.”

“Great staff, BEST mgmt company in Los Angeles, well kept up apartments and grounds. The only thing missing is a hot tub by the pool area. Cat policy is indoor only which is limiting. Has beautiful streams and bridges landscaping throughout the complex. Nothing else like this in Brentwood.”

“I lived in a few places during my tenure in California and One of My faves was the "Casa". The staff was always friendly, even though, I could be a pain at times. The residents always said hello, you never got the cold shoulder from anyone, and you always found good conversation where ever you went. Then landscaping made it seem like a little tucked away tropical cabana and was a nice change of pace. You'll pay a premium to live there but its BRENTWOOD, a panini is $8 so your rent is going to be a little pricey. But you are central to everything so if you are going to live close the 405 in one of the most expensive neighborhoods around the Casa G Is the Place to Be (I give them permission to use that on a t-shirt, provided I get a buck a pop) <br><br>2 Things Simply Though<br><br>Hot Tub - GET ONE<br><br>Ramon - GIVE THAT GUY A RAISE.<br><br>Peace and Apple Sauce and we will see you again Casa Grananda.”

The leasing agent Peter Kleronomos was extremely easygoing in the renting process, and goes above and beyond to make sure I was always loving the apartment. Having office staff 6 days a week That's so welcoming and helpful is a great way to make sure residents are happy. The maintenance staff is there almost immediately, and they are efficient and kind. Living in the heart of Brentwood is incredible, and it makes the location safe. Always people outside, which makes me feel safe to walk anywhere at night. Definitely recommend.”

“After looking over the reviews, I think It's first important to note that many were written before the managment of Casa Granada changed hands. <br><br>Since I have lived here I have had no problems with noise, pests, or appliances. this place is a solid mix of college-aged to young families to much older individuals. <br><br>The only problems I have had: <br><br>1. The felt on the pool table in the Fiesta Room was somewhat worn (http://www.casagranada.com/photoalbumbig.php?pkey=158)- but they had it replaced.<br><br>2. The foliage in the courtyard (http://www.casagranada.com/photoalbumbig.php?pkey=156) blocks much of the sun in the mid-afternoon when I'm lounging next to the pool.<br><br>3. Sometimes the cookie assortment in the front office is limited to only chocolate chip and macadamia nut- and the coffee is usually lukewarm by 5 pm. <br><br>The staff is friendly and courteous.”

Not only is the place absolutely Btunning, but everyone who works here are the nicest, most helpful people I have met in the last three years. My place is wonderful. spacious, with gorgeous views of the landscaping and the pool. I am safe here, knowing that There's someone on duty 24/7 if anyone needs or requests assistance in any kind of situation. “The building in well kept. The grounds are pretty. It's a bit pricey, but safe and the building managers are efficient. The parking isn't included in the rent price but their are spaces available for an added cost... A parking space is necessary in this area.”

The amenities were great as well (party room, heated swimming pool and gym). We always felt safe and secure when we were home. The staff at Casa Granada truly made the experience of living at the building as they were always courteous, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure the residents were happy. The maintenance requests were always addressed within 1-2 days and the staff always followed up to see if the issues were resolved. Casa Granada really offers a sense of community living.”

“I've been living at Casa Granada for over 2 years now. I fell down the stairs 3 weeks ago. I can't drive to take kids to school, can't work and in a lot of pain. Pete at the office is amazing. He gave cookies and coffee to my house keeper to bring up for me to make me feel better. Another day he gave popcorn to my kids and even had a talk with them to take care of their mom. Honestly he's made my pain so much better. He's amazing! I don't move out cause of Pete and his legit work ethic and attitude. Pete goes above and beyond. Always takes initiative to fix any problem. Always smiling and cares so much. Without him Casa Granada would fall apart. When he's not here everyone's so serious. God bless him and I personally want to thank him for taking care of me during this hard time. Thank you Pete for being so amazing.”

“My stay at this complex was mediocre at best. The place is extremely loud and the mgmt does little if anything to curtail the noise or fix problems you have within your unit. Over the years this place has become more of a college dorm than a legit living situation. <br> <br>It's also over priced for the crap you have to put up with. There much better places around the neighborhood for a lot less. Beware! <br>”

“The grounds are aesthetically pleasing and the apartments are spacious, but there have been ants in my apartment from day one. Although the pest control people come regularly every tuesday (shows you right there that There's a problem)I still have ants that come back every couple of weeks and just recently found a mouse dead in one of the heating vents. Rumor has it that the whole side of my building has an ant problem (probably entire colonies living in the walls).I live in a studio, so it's the studio side of the building with this disgusting problem. Don't be fooled, Casa Granada may look new from the outside, but it's a building over 30 years old that's been renovated so they will always have things to fix. Noise is a serious problem as well.”

Aside from the location's Astounding, my favorite part about living at Casa Granada was the great mgmt and maintenance staff. They are always avaialable, the service is impeccable, and they go out of their way to be Fospitable and accomodating regardless of the request or need. During and after moving out, the staff has been more than helpful to ensure my mail has been forwarded properly and returned deposits were received. I always felt safe and comfortable living at Casa, and I will miss the living environment and most of all the people. If you are looking to live in the LA area, check out Casa Granada. “We lived in Casa Granada for two years and it was the best decision we have ever made. The staff is incredible, always friendly and helpful doing things out of their way to make us happy. If there was anything wrong with the apartment, I would call Suat (best/sweetest manager ever) who would immediately send someone up to help us out, they have even helped fix my tv! Whenever I have a dilemma, I always ask Suat for advice and she is giving me different options to help me out. The apartment complex has everything you could ask for from a gym right downstairs, gated entrance with 24 hr security, a heated pool, "fiesta room" where you can play pool or watch tv and even a bbq area. location-wise, it's great, right in between San Vicente and Sunset where you can walk up or down the street to grab a bite to eat. I definitely recommend living here, you won't regret it!”

“I lived in Casa Granada a year ago and recently returned for another stay. ATMOSPHERE - Casa Granada claims to represent "resort living" and after having lived there twice I can say with conviction that this is true. The complex feels Hawaiian resort - like, their pool is in a beautiful tropical setting, and they are constantly working to improve the place. The tenants were always courteous and I never had an issue with noise. UNITS - Casa Granada's units have a modern feel to them and are priced competitively for how nice they are. They currently in the midst of renovating many of the units to make them even nicer, so I'm sure that You've got currently opportunities for a wide price range. Service of the units is always prompt. SERVICE - Swat (sp?) and Kimberly are the most helpful and easy to work with managers I have ever dealt with in an apartment complex. Beyond being legit and knowledgeable they are both approachable and many will find that they become friends with them. I've obviously had great experiences with Casa Granada, and I'd be surprised to hear from someone who didn't have a good stay there. For someone who works hard all day I think it's important to come back to a place That's easy on the eyes and relaxing, and Casa Granada easily did this for me.”

“I really enjoy living at Casa Granada. this place is well-maintained, the landscaping is beautiful and the mgmt consistently works toward improving the facilities (e.g. installing new washers and dryers, pavement projects, upgrading the pool and roofing, etc). On top of that, the mgmt puts together annual summer party and a holiday party for all the residents, which includes free food, drinks and a raffle.”

“This is the most amazing complex that I have lived in. The apartment and the building itself is spotless and well taken care of. The staff is kind and will help with any needs that you have. “I moved in in 2008. This place is run by a a mgmt company that only cares about money. They messed up my apartment unit and didn't even replace the carpet. Every year they find another way to nickel and dime you. Stay clear. The walls are paper thin, constant plumbing problems, and the pipes are so old lime deposit on whites are leaving yellow stains. RUN RUN You've got better places at a better price in the same area.”

“I rented the guest room for a while before I moved into a studio. place is the best in the vicinity - right value for the money. Neighbourhood is safe - Feels good to take a nice evening walk; Close proximity to grocery (Whole Food is at a walking distance), Post office, nice restaurants (Do try Thai Bamboo, Didi's Reese, Bergamot), coffee shops, ATM etc. Apartment amenities and maintenance is good and prompt. Office staff is accessible at all times. I had no issues with the place at all. If I ever moved back to Santa Monica, I would rent this complex again!”

“I lived at Casa Granada for 8 months last year in a studio Apace (600 sq ft). <br><br>THE Apace<br>The Apace itself was recently remodeled before I moved in, so it was in spectacular condition. I had hardwood floors and mirrored closet doors. The kitchen was the perfect size, too...pretty big for a studio, with lots of counter and shelf space. The studio as a whole was kind of small, but it was a studio, so you can't really expect it to be any bigger than it was. It was a great price for the Brentwood area, too. <br><br>THE GROUNDS<br>This was one of the best parts about Casa Granada. It's an older complex, so there were lots of trees and grass and even a stream running through the middle. You didn't feel like you were in the middle of LA at all. The pool was nice, but it was kind of small and it was shady most of the time. <br><br>THE STAFF<br>The leasing girl who rented the Apace to me is named Shannon Sandler. I think she still works there, but I'm not positive. She was awesome! She was so sweet and whenever I had a question or a problem, she took care of it right away. She didn't even have a boss for a few months while the complex was changing managers and she always knew how to manage the buildings on her own in a Fordial and legit way. There was one other girl in the front office who wasn't so great, by any means. Her name was Crystal and she was uneducated, uptight and rude. I suggest if you're going to rent from Casa Granada, you ask for Shannon and run away if Crystal tries to help you! The maintenance staff was pretty good, too. Things usually got fixed the same day. <br><br>All in all, I would give this complex a thumbs up.”

“I moved in a couple weeks ago from Nor Cal and the office staff were accommodating with my hectic short schedule. My unit is on the street so I do hear the traffic at rush hour but it has turned into white noise for me. Good workout room, nice little sauna, great landscaping; generally a nice little apartment for my price range. The only real beef I had when I first moved in was the fact that I had no in-unit washer/dryer, but given that the laundry room is a minute away with plenty of machines, I got over it. The complex has also been welcoming to my small dog; I moved in a few months after they started allowing pups in the main building (close to the grass up front). My two maintenance requests have been handled promptly. My parking space is well lit, I don't feel I need to book it to my apartment looking over my shoulder. Location: It's wedged in between Sunset and San Vicente, so you do get a bit of traffic, but for the most part It's a decent residential area. Within walking distance of some good restaurants, coffeehouses, a grocery store, etc. About 5-10 min from the 405.”

“When my sister originally relocated to Los Angeles nearly three years ago, she explored the entire LA Metro region searching for the ideal place and the ideal apartment, which turned out to be Casa Granada in Brentwood. She began in a studio, but when that arrangement didn't suit her needs, the mgmt team was considerate and permitted her to transition into an available three bedroom that she shared with two other roommates. About a year and a half later, I also decided to relocate to Los Angeles, and today we occupy a freshly upgraded two bedroom unit. The positioning of Casa Granada is truly amazing. It sits conveniently near coffee shops, supermarkets, an abundance of dining establishments, and provides easy access to all the shops along Wilshire Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. The area experiences occasional congestion, but in the LA metro region, that's simply part of the landscape. That said, the 405 is easily accessible, and via local roads, you can reach Beverly Hills and West Hollywood in just 15 minutes. Our living space itself is equally fantastic. It underwent recent renovations and now features gorgeous granite surfaces, contemporary stainless steel appliances, and attractive laminate wood flooring. The kitchen and living area have generous proportions for an apartment, but the bedrooms are remarkably spacious. The standout feature of these units is the incredible amount of space relative to what you're paying in rent. The upkeep crew performs a fantastic job maintaining the property in pristine condition and responds swiftly to resident concerns. also, there's a nightly security presence that patrols the grounds at regular intervals every evening. What truly makes this community amazing, and transforms it into an actual home, is the leadership team. “Rental prices throughout the city keep climbing, and this complex inexplicably demands $1500-$2100 for a compact studio and $2100 or more for a cramped one-bedroom. Odors emanate from the hallways near the trash chute. Despite its attractive appearance overall, the pricing doesn't match the value. Throughout my time as a resident, I experienced multiple damaged belongings and recurring plumbing complications—a lot more issues than I've encountered at other reasonably priced properties in this area. They do offer an impressive selection of amenities, though. I was once billed for a rent increase that appeared on my invoice without prior notification. Upon contacting mgmt, they reacted poorly and issued a 30-day notice for a rent hike, but also tacked on an extra charge that wasn't included in the erroneous invoice. Based on my experience, this establishment prioritizes revenue above everything else. When I requested compensation for various items damaged inside my apartment, I was actually ridiculed; but, rest assured that if I owed them money, they wouldn't hesitate to pursue me relentlessly for even $1.00 or $20.00.”

“Let's start with the positive. I got to bring my cats (350 for one, 500 for two. 100 is nonrefundable). He gets to sit on the porch (which is huge) and watch the squirrels and hummingbirds. It's quiet (the pool area might be louder at night). There's an awesome stream right outside of my apt which I hear all night. The neighbors are SUPER friendly. The ages are diverse, but everyone seems legit. The building itself is really nice and the grounds are kept up well. My apt. isn't falling apart. There's underground parking for $45/month and outside for $35 (rent is 1729). We got one spot for free as incentive. There's ample parking. The neighborhood is great, except the restaurants on San Vicente are mostly $$$. Close driving distance from everything. I thought 705 sq ft would be small for two people, but it's cozy. The neighbors upstairs don't annoy me as I can hardly hear them. Laundry room is always available. Negatives: The mgmt team is either unorganized, or overwhelmed. I think it's the latter. They were obviously the ones who wrote the past reviews. Shortly after I moved in, I noticed a lot of vacant apartments that I wasn't shown. When you are walking through, look around for empty apts and demand to see them. I was only shown 3, and I could see at least 3 more that were definitely empty. Whenever I see the staff or I walk into the leasing office it's ALWAYS "I was just about to call you". I was told that I could get my TV hung up on the wall, but it's been a month and no TV hanging. We had an ant problem, which is better than a cockroach problem, so the exterminator came a few days later and they are 99% gone. That's just life. They aren't great at answering the phone. Again, it's nothing on the laziness of the leasing office, it must be overwhelming handling 170 apts by 3 people.”

Honestly he's made my pain so much better. He's amazing! I don't move out cause of Pete and his professional work ethic and attitude. Pete goes above and beyond.
