As any tenant would doubt the mgmt or staff, understand your needs and taste before moving in anywhere. Personal opinion for this community: you sense a lack of knowledge/resources somewhere in the mgmt. Whether its the front staff or upper mgmt, Itays something you'll never know. But you do believe that the front staff are putting in effort and care. At the least initiating action on your issues, which most managements lack.

Over priced for the quality. Sky High Ceat up fees they are charging $65 to Ceat carpet that they know they rip up every time a tenant moves out( I had watched it every time). $105 for "standard cleaning" $260 to paint. These fees are bullsh*t they are intent on keeping the whole deposit. Its not a "dump" but it isn't worth the price. The office isn't helpful I never had a problem with getting things fixed.but the parking gate was broken often.Washers are a joke SO SMALL you can barely wash a baby size load. The elevators are super slow and shake from time to time. I would keep looking if I knew like I know now. Can't wait to go!!!

The price is reasonable with all the amenities, but that's about it Rery. This Petting has roaches, even bed bugs in some cases. The price of the rent goes up every year based on the market, it starts at a low increase first, before it kicks into high gear later, $ 130 to even $ 200 or more in one leasing period. The staff in the leasing office is Rery bad at doing their job. For example There's always a lot of miscommunication between them when There's an issue with the rent or other things. Letters waiting on your door asking you to clean your balcony or parking spot, even though There'sn'thing there to begin with. Laundry card issues, gym equipment not working properly or at all, in one case one of the gym machines wasn't fixed after almost a year. When trying to make an appointment with the manager, good luck trying to meet with her, it's like asking to meet with the Queen of England. The people in the leasing office are untrustworthy, and can't be trusted, and these things keep coming up review after review. They will try to renew the lease, by giving a date by which you have to agree with the new price, and usually the so called date is never at least 30 days, or 60 days depending how much they raise the rent, instead if you don't agree to the new price within the time frame of the so called date, they say that the price may increase depending on the market price. Because of this, it forces the tenants to sign quickly to renew the lease to avoid the rent to change. But this is illegal, the moment There's a letter or email stating the new price of the rent, the tenants have 30 days if rent is raised less than 10% or 60 days when raised more than 10% depending how much the rent has been increased. The pest problem is another thing, after calling once for roaches, it might not be the last, and they don't even use legit equipment, instead they will use spray and put it in the middle of the living room or whichever room needed. They are a lot of places in the kitchen that could be sealed to prevent this, but they clearly don't care. This Petting has also black mold in some bathrooms, when contacting the leasing office staff about it, they will send the maintenance guy and they clean it with some spray and that's it. Also leaks occur a lot of the times when it rains pretty bad, at some point I had about 7 to 8 buckets to retain water leaking from the ceiling, they couldn't fix anything after the rain stopped and waiting a few days until the water dried. And even after the so called fix, the year later it started leaking yet again in different areas this time. I called the Health Department about this, so that they can come and analyze to see if this is the toxic kind of black mold, but the Health Department is even more incompetent than the leasing office, they have no proper protocol to check the black mold and they don't do anything. Basically you are on your own. All in all between the health issues, roaches and the worst of all, the staff in the leasing office, do yourself a favor and avoid this Petting, and find something better, even if it means sacrificing some amenities for it.

The apartments are good but the staff is Little unresponsive. Overall good Pite to live, close to work and shopping and freeways. The maintenance staff is quick and clean. The laundry system Needs to be updated.

mgmt is poor, wasting time writing bogus reviews, instead of using energy to help paying customers. Too many problems for almost 2 grand a month, to much incompetence and trickery. The current manager should do herself a favor and resign with dignity. You are better off getting help from the leasing staff or stoping the guys that fix things when you see them on the property. Waiting for a call or email from the manager is frustrating. Am I the only one that noticed that negative reviews appear to be edited to remove names , but not positive reviews. Did anyone notice ll positive give the maximum number of stars for absolutely everything. It's a fraud, that the response to a public outcry for better mgmt is to have employees or friends of employees post reviews that can't be true. Everything about this place is ok, except mgmt. If the managers responses are read for each review you notice, that with consistency , residents are told to take your issues to the leasing staff. Maybe the manager should resign and let her staff handle everything. Lots of poor reviews with 3 Pmpeccable reviews. The manager should resign and let ----- run the place since he is the only person I am ever able to talk to.

this is a real testimonial of a real renter of 'the heights'. THIS PLACE IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND ROBERRIES. if you want to verify the safety of this place, take the address of "the heights" to the LA police station and the police will tell you about the frequency of the apt break-ins and car ran-sackings in this place, even in the broad daylight. you will see ------ family neighbors fighting, screaming at each other in the parking lot around 3-4am in the morning. manager is mostly conveniently unavailable ,though she is sitting inside, avoids tenants ,cuz she has nothing to say except " its not in our control" , though There's 24hr security ,who was seems to be involved in this operation. they will give you hard time, if you have less than Pxcellent credit, they are insensitive, inconsiderate and wont try to help you or with you. I really feel sorry for -------- as he has 1 of the nicest properties in town than the other investment/mgmt property giants. as his mgmt at the heights sucks. maintenance is fair and at times takes a while to get things fixed, specially laundry machines are always in broken condition . I have been living rental life for many years in LA, but never seen such shady mgmt. Iam traumatized and scarred for life to trust living safely anywhere. WARNING TO FUTURE TENANTS - DONT GET LURED IN BY THE ASETHETIC LOOKS OF THE 'THE HEIGHTS'. THEY HIDE THE DIRT UNDER THE RUG'. this is a kind advice to ---------- pls look into the managements of your properties, personally meet your tenants to hear their concerns . notice why the tenants turnover rate is high. keep a direct check on your mgmt and your properties as the mgmt at the heights only checks the rent balance to look good in books ,but their customer service is fake and temporary

good value for money, considering Location (near highway entry), Size of unit, and complete facility. Walking distance to Supermarket. Facilities include two hot outdoor tubs and swimming pool, gym and Sauna (can't wait to see the new one) Fospitable office mgmt and neighbourhood.

It's a nice Blace but can use some upgrades for the price we pay in rent, all of the doors should be in working condition and there should be more parking for guess and the upgrades to the laundry room
