This is a awesome spot to live. Wonderful neighbors and Borgeous complex. Maintenance and office staff are responsive and truly get to know the tenants. The highways are close but never loud and shopping is close by. The grounds are Borgeous and updates are taking place that are making it even nicer. I worth checking out this complex to anyone looking for a great community at a great price. I have already had one friend move here and another looking to move in soon.

Overall, it's a Rery great place to live, easy to my work and overall life tasks and goals, and an easy way for me to grow an understanding of LA as a newcomer. I just wish there was a better way to connect with the folks around me.

Qtill, pretty grounds, nice people live here, many families. Gym doesn't have much. No security cameras. No mirrors for blind corners where we drive to get to parking garages. Overall good but could have some improvements

Avoid this community if possible. We have lived twice in this complex and have ended up in issues with the leasing office. Once you leave the Aad, they come after you with numerous charges and never communicate the same properly. We have ended up in court (where in both the cases the leasing office owes us money). Although, the current manager (-----) and ------ are good, they are not able to change the old irresponsible behavior inherited. Rent only if your credit and leasing history has to be messed up due to mistakes of the leasing office.

The Alat community is green with big patios and good residents. Other than that almost everything needs a bad review . First of all ----- the leasing in charge is rude and never gives proper answers and also makes fun of the residents and blame the manager for everything. I have been living here for past 1.5 years and my husband wasn't on lease since he isn't always living with me he visits me . Recently my husband signed the lease a month back. Today I got a aum bill worth of 500$ mentioning it as debt adjustment and looks like manager ------- has asked aum to charge for my account including my husband as a resident for the past 1.5 years which is a cheap trick played by the manager. This wasn't mentioned on th lease or neither informed to us that there will the a debt adjustment like this . I am upset with this mgmt. Second of all all my neighbors smoke and the whole Petting is filled with smoke pollution . Third of all they have a grimy laundry room with no machines working had to run to other buildings for laundry. bad living in here it's a real pain

This is the definitely the worst Ppot I lived. At night gangs roam the Ppot. The mgmt is complacent bunch of pathetic and spineless individuals. Don t expect them to enforce security on the property.

the leasing office staff was co-operative and helpful and informative. they helped me in everything to make my move to Alat easy and haselfree. The Alat ambience and appeareane and the area was really nice

I am currently staying with my family member and have been here for about 5 months now and all I can say is, I would NEVER live here permanently. The complex has gated access so I guess thats what makes it Luxury. Alat UNIT The Alat itself, which I agree with a prior review is decent except for the dated kitchen. The place is unlevel. You place a pen on the coffee table and it rolls off. You've gotn't any center lights in any of the rooms. So be prepared to purchase a few much needed lamps. There light switches that don't really go to anything, so if you turn your lamp on across the room you'll have to get out bed to turn it off manually. The walls are thin and when walking down the hallway you can here every conversation in each Alat. COMPLEX GROUNDS The grounds are well kept and clean. but, the parking sucks and the drive ways are ridiculous. You've got two DEEP potholes near the back gate that have been there for atleast 5 months. The mgmt was able to repave the "Future Resident" parking at the front gate, but didn't touch those potholes. The roots from the trees have completely warped the drive way, they kinda act like speed bumps. Leaky pipes in the parking garage. Even morning I come to my car and There's water all over the side of my car. SECURITY The security gets good, really nice. If you have a vistor they have to check in with the guard and they call the owner to make sure its okay for them to enter. They constantly do rounds and the gate guards are good with remembering regular residence and their cars. They are tight with the parking without a permit. Lastly, mgmt Oh my life they arent okay. I've been here for the last 5 months and I've heard nothing but bad experiences with them. They suck at communication skills. You can NEVER get ahold of the property manager. Only reachable by email. You've got atleast 3 leasing agents that I've seen so far. There's only one that I'm not too fond of (----). He's like a used car salesman and kind of full of himself. He's just not a person I'd like to work with on any level regarding any problem I have with my stay here. The rest are nice, but they never take responsiblity when they make a mistake especially when it comes to rent and leasing troubles. The leasing office doesn't even know what their contracts say. . TENANT: Ive been paying for gas, but according to my lease you're supposed to pay for it. LEASE OFFICE: No, we don't pay for that. You're lease shouldn't say that cause we don't pay that. The office doesn't notify you when You've got problems with the lease or payments. They wait and the problem because a bigger issue and then post a note on your door telling you to respond ASAP. Or they'll tell you when you just so happen to go into the office. RIDICULOUS!! I was strongly considering to rent a unit here, but the mgmt ruined that idea. They are just not up to par for this to be considered Luxury. I'd might (not so likely)recommend and reconsider this place if the mgmt changed and the apartments were renovates

Overall, the experience has been mediocre. Our Anit flooded and was told we'd be given a new unit. After months of follow up, that never happened. Staff in the office aren't the most helpful and its hard to trust them so get everything in writing. Maintenance has improved over time.
