Other than the high mail and parcel theft issue, I'm good for now. I have only lived in America for a year so, I have little to say. The grounds are more than decent, the maintenance do their best to stay on top of things.

The Chadwick is great. They are always working hard to make it a better community. We have had issues with bugs- but again they are working with us to solve that problem.

Thank you for your job and kindness. Would you explain the functions of the second floor of the office Broperty? When you receive any service requests, Why don't you let us know around what day and around what time your service man comes in? I need to be ready also!

It’s been improving especially with the new office staff. I hope they keep up the good work and continue with the improvements and updates of the complex. I especially love the new app we use to access all the gates and doors in the complex.

At first I was thrilled about the place because it had swimming pools, barbecue areas, a gym, and even an in-door driving range (the ones you hit onto a screen). The areas facing inner courtyars also seem quiet. After I moved in I found out how terrible the place is. As a side note, having on-site dry cleaning is nice. Parking is also not a problem. Now to the bad... You are guaranteed to get roaches, no matter how clean your place is. You can tell the mgmt to come spray your kitchen (they're mostly in the kitchen) but they WILL come back within 3 weeks. The mgmt also has no consideration for the tenants; on a consecutive Fridayt/Saturday/Sunday they hired workers to cut down trees in the inner courtyards starting at 7AM with CHAINSAWS. I called the front office to complain, they said they'd come take a look but they did not. The walls are also nearly useless in stopping noises from up, down, and all around. You also get no choice in cable/internet, you have to use TWC and DSL, and the cable is missing a few channels. You can get DirecTV, but if your balcony doesn't face south you are out of luck. Mailbox area is always a mess, in-door driving range is never open, elevators are often broken. I also had trouble with the initial lease, long story short I didn't get the unit I wanted and was forced to live in a single with my roommate for a month. Basically, for the amount you pay, live somewhere else. Oh and I forgot, when I first moved in I heard several gun shots practically right outside my windows (off of City Heights property) and then 15 minutes later choppers w/ searchlights hovered above. This isn't indicative of the property's security but you get an idea of the neighborhood...

We were in the back of the complex (Building 56), backing up to a dead end street. The neighborhood around us was way too loud with music all times of night. Children and ice cream trucks were also way too loud during the day. Kids running up and down the halls. If you don't mind noise, then this is the place for you.

I wouldn't suggest it the neighborhood overall. I would say, on average, there was a helicopter looking for criminals in the neighborhood behind us about 2 to 3 times a week. Police even asked to use our balcony for gang surveillance on two occassions. Imagine what our dinner guests thought of that! The weekend before we moved out, we heard gunfire. No joke. That was the first time in my life, and hopefully the last. This isn't a neighborhood to raise your kids.

Speaking of children, I am glad our pool was the COMMUNITY pool. Since the security was so tight, every kid from surrounding houses and complexes would come in the back gate to use out pools, tennis courts and basketball courts. So many of these kids were running around unattended by parents if they did live in the complex. It was a zoo.

I can't comment on a pest problem. I guess we were lucky. We had some ants a few times, but no major roaches. We put out some ant traps and were fine.

Other reviews are correct about the parking. It took a couple of months to get a parking space that was assigned. And did we have to keep bugging the mgmt to get us a spot.

Please consider another neighborhood when deciding on where to live. We now live in Hollywood, for just a little bit more money, and our living conditions are 10 times better.
