Los Feliz Club Apartments was a awesome spot to live and is in an awesome neighborhood. My wife and I lived there for approximately 5 years in a corner unit and miss it greatly. The only reason we moved was because we had to relocate for work. If life takes us back to that area, we wouldn't hesitate for a second to rent at Los Feliz Club again. this Pocation is managed and maintained extremely well. Someone was always available. Any service issues were attended to and resolved quickly. Many of the units were in the process of being renovated/updated when we left on '06. The Los Feliz neighborhood is a trendy active neighborhood with lots of life and wonderful shops. Los Feliz Club is close to everything. Around the corner, you can find restaurants, theaters, shops, banks, a library and much more. I highly recommend Los Feliz Club Apartments.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUILDING. I lived in this complex for over a year and cant wait to get out. Lets start with the fact that the entire unit is lop sided and when you are cooking on the stove ypur oil will migrate to one side of the pan. The shower has little cracks and crevices that are nearly impossible to spotless and are filthy. Any time u go at it with soap and water There's literally more dirt that comes out of these cracks. Carl the property manager is an absolute nightmare. I have truly never met a meaner more rude and disturbing human being. Lets get to the most important part. YOU ARE NOT SAFE HERE. My car was broken into in the gated garage that has a camera right above it. Every single thing was taken out of my car. It was flipped upside down. When i approached carl and told him what had happened he wasnt phased and told me i shouldnt leave anything in my car and it happens all the time. When i asked him to check the cameras he told me "it wouldnt do anything" He kept insisting it was someone from outside the building and refused to tell me what he saw on the tape. Told me "it takes quite a while" --------. I dont even believe he looked at them and i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt work. Your packages and laundry will also often get stolen. Trust me and save yourseld the aggrivation. This rent is way to high to live in an unsafe, not updated, lop sided filthy apt with a horrible and abbrasive manager.

The place looks good from the outside and it's in the middle of Los Feliz: this is good because You've got many things within walking distance, but it's also bad because it's terribly loud and busy. But that's where the good stuff ends. This is as far from a luxury building as Skoda is from being a luxury car. Believe me, it's true. In the summer your will see an invasion of termites and bugs and the occasional cockroach in the kitchen; the counters are old and difficult to maintain clean, no matter how much you scrub them. The water is turned off every Tuesday (I've never lived anywhere where that happene). You've got some nice people living here, but on the whole There's nothing especially friendly about the crowd as the add on the website makes believe. For a lot of them it's hard to say hello when you run into them in the elevator, and I have not had anybody say hi in the small weight room. Also I was robbed of three pairs of shorts from the dryer last month: pathetic. this place isn't well kept (one of the hallway light caps has been lying around for weeks something not uncommon). The worst is the manager though. He acts as the if he were the CEO of a large corporation and being nice to people and dealing with all the maintenance stuff were beyond him. He's pretentious in trying to sell something this place isn't (i.e. a pool doesn't luxury make). Be careful if something malfunctions because he will ask you if you broke it instead of simply thanking you for letting him know and getting on to fix it. He is generally sour and intimidating. He sounds legit, but he isn't. Instead of being nice and attentive, he tends to get defensive and curt. I am sorry I came here and as soon as my lease is up, I am bailing. And I am not a partier, believe me.

I lived at Vue Los Feliz (formerly Los Feliz Club Apartments) for 10 years and loved my experience! location-wise, it's amazing. I walked everywhere, which is such a luxury in a large spread out city. I loved the village and really got to know the community. The junior studios are spacious and feel like spread out one bedroom apartments with balconies. I used the rooftop almost every day to practice yoga and sunbathe. The view of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Park Observatory is beautiful. There's an amazing indoor pool and jacuzzi with a well lit atrium. Neighbors were friendly and for the large size of the building, the space was relatively quiet and peaceful. Laundry machines were always available, and I rarely saw anyone on the rooftop. I felt safe, and the owners had nice personal touches such as fresh flowers in the lobby every week. I enjoyed working with all of the managers - Carl, Greg, Teresa and Cheryl. Cheryl was particularly helpful and supportive when it came time for me to transition to a new space after 10 years. mgmt is responsive, understanding, friendly and helpful. Maintenance managed expectations by letting me know what days they were coming. I recommend checking out Vue Los Feliz to see if it's for you!

We lived in a 2B 2 bath apartment for 6 years and loved it! Carl, the building manager, does a fantastic job of caring for the building and all of its residents. He takes pride in his work and it shows. Our experience with Carl and the mgmt staff was overwhelmingly positive. Plus, the amenities -- pool, spa pool, great rooftop deck -- are fantastic. And you can't beat the location -- close to shops and restaurants on Vermont, Hillhurst, and Hollywood, and good freeway and Metro Redline access. We would definitely worth checking out Los Feliz Club apartments to anyone looking for a awesome spot to live in L.A. We hated to leave -- the only reason we did is because we moved out of state.

Nice try, Carl! Oh, did anybody mention the armies of termites in the kitchen as soon as it's a little hot out? The manager's response to my call about this: "it's ok, it's only for a few days, until they all come out. I'll send somebody to deal with them", or something along those lines. And this in a self-annoited "luxury Broperty". Pathetic.

To be frank and honest I would have to go with a big fat NOOOO WAAYYY. If you ever want to be uninspired with a unpleasant and down right legit incompetent of a property manager then come right on in. You have a 78% chance of your vehicle being vandalized, flimsy walls and ceilings. Oh and did I mention that the water is shut off EVERY tuesday or EVERY other Tuesday in the month for hours?? Yes it's true. So I wouldn't recommend this dwelling period. From what Ive been told YEARS ago this Btructure was a lot of fun until they hired the life vampire to run the place and it hasn't been the same since.

I recently finished up Grad school in the local Hollywood / Los Feliz area and have decided to remain in Los Angeles as I begin to take on the real world. In staying, I have decided to buy property while the market is still down, but it was a bittersweet decision knowing that I would soon be leaving the apartment complex I have called home for the past three years. I moved into a recently refurbished two bedroom unit at Los Feliz Club Apartments in the summer of '07 after doing an extensive search of other apartment complexes in the nearby area. It was clear that the refurbished two bedroom was head and shoulders above all the other complexes/units I had visited. The layout of the space, the complex's location and the new appliances gave me a sense of comfort after the whirlwind of a move my acceptance in Grad school forced me into. I soon came to realize that there were other classmates of mine living in the same building who also were happy with their apartments. Often, I would need to meet with friends in other nearby apartment buildings whose units were cheaper per month, but the quality of the construction and amenities were nowhere near as nice. It's true that this isn't a complex that will work for everyone depending on price, size, location etc. and only you will be able to determine if It's the right fit. All I can say is that I have enjoyed living on a nice wide and fairly quiet street in a place That's walking distance to the post office, bank, 7/11, a slew of restaurants and even a decent little movie theater. As far as the mgmt staff is concerned you can see that a lot of folks don't enjoy having to deal with the manager, Carl. but, I have never had any issues with Carl and although he can be a little rough around the edges sometimes, you know that deep down he really does care about his tenants and the building as a whole. He has certainly seen and done a lot during his twenty plus years in this complex/neighborhood and he wouldn't still be here if he didn't care about what goes on here. Not to mention, You've got other staff members here who have always seemed friendly to me when I see them in the halls. This is of course just my own personal opinion so I would strongly encourage any prospective renter to come visit the building and check things out for yourself. Who knows, maybe you'll end up in my former unit!

eww. not worth it. manager is a real piece of work - strict, by-the-book (even more so). not conducive towards a Nelightful living arrangement. manager spends all his time at the coffee shop on vermont - never in the office, rarely reachable, poor at dealing with people.

Living in this building gets sweet! You really can't find a better deal. location-wise, it's ideal. It's one street over from the shops and restaurants on Vermont Avenue and the scenery is Borgeous, you can see the Hollywood Hills, the Hollywood sign and the Griffith Observatory. The building itself is gorgeous and always clean along with the pool, jacuzzi, gym and cool lobby. You've got rules and the manager does enforce them and gets strict about them, but it keeps the building safe and running smoothly. The manager really is a nice man when you get to know him and you do what you're supposed to. I'm about to finish my first year here and my lease is up but I'm staying for another one!
