Waterstone is in a great location next to a grocery store (Vons) and a Starbucks, as well as being close to major highways. I always seem to be 15-25 minutes away from where I want to go (if not rush hour). The building is great and has everything I need.

The Waterstone staff have been nothing but excellent. The community is kept clean, I always feel safe, but most importantly to me, my dog is treated like family here. It has been an absolute incredible experience thus far and all of my neighbors are friendly. The location is unbeatable. You are walking distance to EVERYTHING and as a young woman, I feel safe at all times.

I would only recommend this property if you are moving into a third story unit. You will hear every neighbor, both on the side and above you. It makes you feel like you're living in a shoe box. The amenities help make it somewhat worth it. The gym is big, the appliances are updated, and there is plenty of electric parking in the garage.

Waterstone is a beautiful, quiet community that also contains some safety issues as a tenant. 1. Parking garages often have break-ins and management has blocked my postings on the community forum to alert other tenants of said break ins. One morning I encountered a homeless man sleeping in the elevator corridor from the parking garage 2. Packages are stolen from the mail room frequently. I have spoken with several other tenants who have experienced this with increasing frequency in 2022. 3. Maintenance requests are not always responded to in a timely manner. Specifically, maintenance requests to secure perimeter doors and to fix lights out in hallways had to be submitted 2 to 3 times before the issues were addressed.

When I have some concerns, the staffs hear my concerns and respond immediately. They always greet me every time I see them and are very friendly. I appreicate the staffs' kindness and I am happy to live here.

Waterstone at Metro is clean and simple. It seems to be an old building from the 60's that's interior has been redone to be much more modern. It's at a good location - just a 10 minute walk from downtown Culver City, across the street from a Vons, Starbucks, and taco stand, and a short drive to the freeway entrances. There isn't a sense of community, but my neighbors are respectful and generally quiet. I really appreciate the included parking, small gym downstairs, and the rooftop amenities.

They SCAM YOU for your security deposit. Not only did we not get any of it back, we owed money. I do not recommend this place. They also tried to tow us out of our own parking spot when we were out of town and did not keep track of who had what spot.

We've been living in West Side for almost 15 years and Waterstone was our worst experience!!! From the beginning we had issues with maintenance. The only good thing at that time was Rita and John who acknowledged the issue and corrected the issue. They were great! Paco on the other hand could care less about the building and residents. When you bring up an issue he makes a smart --- remark. I know other residents who are looking to move because of the apathetic attitude there now. We left our apartment immaculate. Never wore shoe in the apartment so it was sooo clean and touched up paint on top of the already poorly painted and patched apartment and we not only didn't get any of our deposit back but had to pay $25 on top of it. And painting should never be over $300. You pay so much for a tiny pool/ jacuzzi. The gym is was the only nice part and there was never air there so we hardly went. Totally not worth it!!!!

Management and upkeep has gone downhill. The building is no longer maintained and is often dirty. Lots of homeless live around the building and outside security doors often have broken locks and do not close. Anyone can walk right into the building. Management is aloof to most issues and work with little urgency. Value for your dollar here is poor, there are better options locally. Upside: nice location.

Everything here has been great. I feel very safe here and whenever I have had any questions, I have been helped in a timely manner. I am happy living here and would like to stay another year if I can.
