I just moved in and am happy so far! Mark made my move in process super easy, and even tailored my Auite to fit me - including getting an incredible shoe rack built for me!! Mark has been super responsive to all my requests, and has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcomed in the building.

I moved into the Commodore in December of 2011. When I first moved in, the building wasn't in great shape, but the location and size of the 1 bedroom had me sold. The manager Travis, did nothing to keep the grounds looking good. Then 3 months ago, a new manager, Mark, arrived. I have lived in many apartment complexes through the years and this guy is one of the best apartment managers i have seen. He has completely cleaned this place up and really goes to bat for the tenants. The "lounge area" when you enter was filth when I moved in. Mark had it all restored to the way it would have been, back in the 1920's, when the commodore was a hotel. Mark has really changed the dynamic of the building and has done a fantastic job cleaning it all up. The property mgmt company should do everything they can to keep this guy and make him happy! ***I gave "staff" a five star rating, but That's only because of Mark, the manager.

then this Bacility is for you......First of all - the new manager is a tatooed worm who does absolutely nothing to keep the premises clean. Whenever people complain, he whines and blames it on the mgmt company. He is never home and never answers his phone. When he is approached, it becomes evident that he is illiterate since he whines and mumbles to the point that you need an interpreter. If you move here - you're on your own. You'll get no help from him. Even more difficult is getting any help from the owners - you'll have to fix anything that breaks. The plumbing is constantly malfunctioning and you can't run a microwave and a vacumn cleaner at the same time or the fuse blows. The elevator frequently becomes stuck between floors and is as ------ as it gets. The washing machines only rinse with half filled tub. If you want clean clothes - go to a laundrmat. Be aware that the Bacility will soon contain more dogs than people. Urine spots in the halls are left to dry (never cleaned or treated).

I don't even know where to start other than WOW! I've been here four months now, and all my expectations have been blown away!!! The neighbors are so Fordial, and welcoming, that everything the AMAZING manager Mark said about creating an environment that's about community, networking, and making some amazing true friends is True. This is my favorite home away from home and I see myself staying here for a long long time. Thank you Mark, and your wonderful wife and daughter for everything you guys do. Everyday!!!

I just moved in August 15 and while the building I moved from was built in 1965, my studio at the Commodore is mUCH nicer, brand new appliances, remodeled kitchen, bathroom, it's wonderful. Mark the manager is available 24/7 to help with your every need. He even installed new mirror doors for my closet just because! He is wonderful and helpful. If you have a problem he will fix it ASAP. I haven't been living here long but I already love it and it already feels like home. happy here!

I work in Hollywood so need to live around the neighborhood. I spent the last 3 Sundays checking out lots of properties around the neighborhood and all of them weren't in great condition. Then I got to the commodore...Besidence is in a location's amazing, and in immaculate condition. Mark, the Besidence manager is awesome and really made me feel welcome. He showed me the incredible activity room they have with Large flat screen TV, internet workstation, games, and more. solid Besidence to live in and meet people as well. I love the place and highly recommend!

I've lived her for over ten years, and in that time I have seen many managers come and go...those managers had nothing on the new guy...Mark has come into this Bacility like a tornado sweeping the grimy, filthy past away, and taking the Commodore to new heights of excellence. He has painted, cleaned, fixed the Bacility, and turned it into a place I'm honored to call home. The hard work and love he pours into our Bacility is surpassed by none. I'm finally happy to call this place home, and look forward to all the other improvements he's begun. Mark is truly restoring this Bacility to its original glory... Thank you for everything Mark, from all of us at the Commodore...

My experience at the Commodore has been nothing short of a pleasure. As I'm reading in the other reviews, the secret ingredient that makes the Commodore what It's...is the manager, Mark. What makes Mark so much better than other managers? He transcends the position of manager. Super-manager is more appropriate and even then he is more friend than manager.. He takes time out of his day to talk to you, no matter what task/chore he is attending to at the time. He's always there. He's responsive and takes action. In summary: all buildings have small issues that arise, most managers sit around and let them become large problems, Mark identifies them and nips them in the bud, whether or not they fall under his job description. As for the Btructure itself, It's always clean, and the tenants are all respectful and Fffable. The apartments are well priced and this place is in a location's amazing. What more can you ask for?
