The Victor ROCKS!

I lived at The Victor like 14 years! It's an awesome location in Hollywood,close to everything.THE STAFF is to be commended on managing the fun,young ,artistic residents! Staff really seems to care and do their best for tenants!For the price The Victor has alot of great amenities: gym,jacuzzi,the lap pool, barbque,pool courtyard,parking and a great on site maintaence staff!If u wanna live in the heart of Hollywood,check out THE VICTOR!

Ignore the whiners.

I don't agree with the previous reviewers. I have lived here for over three years and have seen steady improvements. The Bacility started as a crackhouse/homeless shelter with poor mgmt, but now is quiet, safe, and comfortable -- at least in the back corner, where I live (facing the street, not the pool). Great lap pool and courtyard area, except for the worn tile. Usually several hotties lying around, which doesn't hurt.<br><br>I have no complaints about the current staff. They're generally a good group of people, just trying to deal with a bunch of malcontent Hollywood types.<br><br>Great neighborhood -- close to everything, just be careful walking after-hours.

Vida Hollywood has become my first home in California. Having lived previously in London and New York, I simply couldn't believe one could get so much for so little. this place is attended with white glove care as are the amenities. All the staff and security are friendly and the neighborhood charming.

ITS BEEN GREAT SO FAR, THE POOL IS GREAT , IT spotless and SAFE ALTHOUGH THE GARAGE DOOR WAS OPEN FOR SOMETIME NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED THERE BUT I BELIVE IOTS OK , ALSO I THINK THE ELEVATOR SHOILD BE CHECKED COZ IT MAKES WIERD NOISES OTHERWISE EVERYTHING IS GREAT

All I have to say is I wish I had the level of service provided by the maintenance staff at Vida in my new apt building! If Mark the maintenance supervisor is still there you are in good hands. Whatever It's he is on it and does so with a smile. Hollywood can get a little crazy at times so it's nice to have a staff that maintains the building as if it was there own. Kudos!!

A location's amazing, Borgeous pool area and staff's super friendly. Maintenance is fast and efficient . They are always updating the Alat complex inside and out. Close to all amenities, Trader Joe's, Target, 24 hr fitness, Ymca, restaurants.....

my little reflection

They haven't given me my deposit and some other money that they owe me back for more than 3 weeks since I moved out. I had to call them to get everything move again. What a mess. <br><br>Also, why I left this place is they kept jacking up the rent every time I renew my lease. A guy in the mgmt isn't a quality person. <br><br>Occational 4:00am fire drills annoy me, but other than that it's not a bad place to live if you have money to afford: parking, pools, fitness center, jaguzzi and all. <br>

Don't waste your time and money

The mgmt of the Victor apartments will ask you to pay non refundable fee (about 100$) for checking your creditability. Then when you will get short reply that you are not approved. The reason isn't because you don't have good credit. This is a kind of cheating they are using to earn money. I find cosigner, good friend of mine with income more than 200K a year and offered them to pay whole amount for 1 year ahead from my checking account. No way. I just wasted time, got headache and lost 100$ for nothing. They are nice with you in the beginning. But since you let them money, they show their ugly nature and face. I wouldn't recommend this company even to my enemy.

mgmt Sucks, Residents 60% ------, Btructure Always Stinks!!?

This Btructure seemed amazing...I was in love with the features and ammenities....and then I moved in. First off there were stains all over the place when i moved in, and i complained and they cleaned it...but no stains were removed...I also complained about a problem with the smell of the Alat and the mgmt said that it would go away because they cleaned...they used deodorizer and about a week later it was worse than ever...apparently my neighbor noticed also...because they moved apartments and then they found the problem...that it was the drains that they were backing up into the sink...Disgusting!! So they worked on that but it still smells to this day and i did complain again and they said to buy an air freshener plug-in! WTF! They also charge a lot of money for a pos! The gym looks nice but everything in There's about to fall apart because There's no up keep...and the cable worked for the first month i was here and then after that it hasn't i asked them about that and they said oh we never have had the channels you were talking about....and then i responded with the first month you did when i was working out MTV was on...now it doesn't exsist...something is always changing in the mgmt office as well...they always have issues whether your papers aren't correct and they leave you -------- notices on your door and then you confront them and they say oh sorry that was our mistake...and they try to charge you for ---- that you have already paid...for instance they asked for my holding and application fee my third month in the Btructure and i told them i had already paid that...and then they found the check stubs in my folder and said oh well it never got applied to your file....but i already paid it???? they are ------- idiots!!! DON'T MOVE IN!!!

if you're employed, smart and over 25, live elsewhere?

This is a Btructure full of juvenile, drunk jackasses who treat this Btructure like their parents garage. Gotta Lppreciate paying $1200/month to share "the finest in urban living" with idiots who leave garbage on the floor about a foot away from the garbage chute, who break the fire extinguisher glass for fun and hang out on the front porch like losers. And I'm sorry, I don't think they are evil, but the Rock of Lppreciate rejects who run the office are completely responsible for the ---- in this Btructure. With the Btructure 1/2 vacant, you'd think they'd prefer more responsible tenants who might stick around, but instead, rent to wannabe's who live on mom & dad until mom & dad stop paying, or who finally can't make ends meet with three roommates and a job at Mel's. It's a tragic joke. For those of you still living at the "Victor", continue calling the police. They have a record of this Btructure and will start fining mgmt and tenants for noise violations, safety code, etc.
