I am living in the property last 2 years and we changed 9 different managers so far as i know. Who ever comes learn the job and leave in 3 weeks. Apartment building has a lot of issues, plumbing, roof leaks, mental health problem residents ext.. but main HUGE problem is management. I had a lot of noise around my apartment and after 2 years I decided to move different floors for my peace. Management supposed to move my information from my existing apartment to new one 3 weeks ago and i could receive my mails ( amazon hub box) . I had a mail 2 weeks ago and i am trying to get it almost every day. Unfortunately new manager doesn't know what she needs to do and that's totally understandable. But, executive manager "Christal" she is in the office and I explained to her what she needs to do because she doesn't have any idea they need to transfer my information to new apartment i can receive access code as an Email. She's is pushing me away and telling me I need to respect her time because she will have a phone call soon. She doesn't have any sing at he door ( lunch Tim'e & break time) and she told me " i called who's responsible from that hub boxes they did not help Thursday " ect. she will call again.... who knows when. All those things are not true because if she calls anybody who's responsible they will tell her transfer your resident that's what you need to do only. She doesn't know because guess what she is also new too. Problem is in here attitude and to push away people from the office with out the finding a solution. Loving Christal we are not your workers, we are your costumers, If you don't know how to manage the residence do not work as an executive manager. You can't sit in the manager office without any sing and make me wait under the rain + ignoring me when i am trying to help you. That's not professional. I hope some miracle happens and people will start working and they know how they need to manage properly property.

Are you lonely? Wish you had more visitors? If so, then move to Savoy West where, every week, management gives you a 24 hour notice that they need to enter your apartment between 8 & 5 the next day. One week it's to check the gas. The next? Check the fire alarms. The next? Check your pipes. The next? Check your sprinklers. It goes on and on. Is it THAT hard to coordinate a yearly inspection?? If you have a pet and work - It's a nightmare to keep locking them up. Work from home? Have fun having them bang around in your apartment while trying to have a work call. Or maybe you just want to take a shower without worrying that they'll come barging inside with barely a knock to check all the door knobs because well, "they gave you notice." How about exercise? You want to live somewhere that makes it easy? This is most definitely the place! Not because it's close to Runyon Canyon but because the elevator is broken more than it works. I just assume the elevator is out of service so if it's not, it feels like Christmas! Have extra money you don't need? Again, this is your place! They will most definitely rip you off when it comes to your deposit. They charged me $2500 to turn the apartment over after I had been there seven years, never missed a payment and left it with only with normal wear & tear. They charged me to paint! Yes, paint. Which is 100% against renters law - but they count on you not suing. They are lazy thieves who lack integrity. You've been warned.

I was upfront about wanting a short term lease. After going through everything. The guy pulled a fast one and said short term lease will be more. About 1,000.00 more. Why did he waiste my time ? I called him out on it and nothing.

Let me start off by saying I have lived in apartments in every major region of the United States and many more overseas and this apartment is by far the best I've experienced. I moved to Los Angeles from out of state 2 years ago and rented the apartment without ever laying eyes on where I would be living as I had no choice due to the fact I was relocating last minute because of my occupation. When I rented the apartment I didn't know what to expect other than what I had been told over the phone and the photos I had seen on their website. When I arrived in LA I was overjoyed at how the apartment had exceeded my expectations and was relieved I had made a great choice and was even surprised at the fact it was even nicer in person than I expected. This place has exactly what most people look for in a great apartment complex. It is in a prime location, has clean and safe surroundings, is well kept and despite it not being a brand new building the apartments here are in excellent condition. Like I said before I have lived in a lot of apartments over the years from luxury ones to some not so great ones. But to me what makes or breaks whether I am happy where I live is the management staff. This is the main reason I love Savoy West so much. From day one the property manager Debbie has gone above and beyond to make sure I am happy here. She has always been readily available when I need something and always makes it happen right away. She is also very kind and compassionate and truly loves her job and tackles everything head on and will go out of her way to make sure every resident in the building is happy. Work orders here are always promptly taken care of in a very timely manner. And if you ever have an issue with your apartment that is vital there is always someone on call available 24 hours a day to fix something unexpected that may occur even on weekends. The maintenance staff Dan and Miguel are always working their hardest to make sure the building is in tip top shape and all work orders are filled. They are also very friendly, understanding of your time and courteous and are excellent about keeping everything in your apartment in working order and running smoothly. I have no intentions of moving out anytime soon and hope my job situation doesn't require me to move again as I love it here and am truly happy with where I live. So if you have any doubts about whether to call this your next home don't worry because once you move in you will be as happy as I am and never want to move again!

Great Community! From Management & Neighbors! I will continue to call Savoy West my home for many more years! Extremely quiet. You can actually get rest 24/7. I appreciate how my neighbors respect the noise level. I never hear them. There are so many reasons to call Savoy West home: 1. Location! 2. Well-Managed 3. Quiet 4. Price is lower than most 5. Neighbors

Yelp Write a Review Ramin B. Savoy West Apartments Rating Eek! Methinks not. All changes saved The Savoy West: I have nothing positive to say about this place based off my own personal experiences: This is the only apartment complex I have ever lived where my apartment was broken into, possessions stolen including my car due to managements negligence Cons: 1. My house was broken into with all of my possessions robbed by someone who was illegally squating on the premises waiting for the right time to break in and enter. My Car and All of my Possessions stolen due to managements negligence. This is because the property does not have enough security cameras and do not regularly inspect the premises to check for people that are illegally there whether its transients or airbnb. 2. A few times a year black sewage sludge/black goo will spill out of your kitchen sink leaving your kitchen smelling like ---/sewage/garbage. The smell is so poignant and strong that it will take you several hours to clean it. When you ask management what or why this keeps happening?? they respond "these buildings are old" - Im washing my dishes in a sink that spews out toxic sludge - how healthy can that be? 3. Fire Alarm blarring at night for the better part of 6-8 months around 2-4am AND IT DOES NOT STOP same vicous cycle every night over and over again. Your anxiety starts at 4am - this went on for severl months it was terrible. 4. When you finally leave the premises they will TAKE UP TO 40% OF YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT - mainly to clean their old dirty carpets from the 1980s which will cost YOU - $200 dollars and another $100 to clean the apartment / Usually I get one cleanup fee from an apartment complex for $200 max, here it will end up being much more. AND in the event you want to mount your TV (and they will tell you to let their handyman do it for you for a small fee) afterwards they will charge you a full $300 dollars for "PAINT" - thats about $600 that they will TAKE no questions asked. Its a simple job but yet you pay for 10 times more. 5. What I am trying to get at here is that this apartment complex is terrible and run down and they know it too, so they will find a way to nickle and dime you every which way they can up until you move out. I asked them for a dishwasher once and managements response was that I need it to "do a really good job rincing the dishes" aka wash the dishes first before you use the dishwasher which defeats the purpose of owning a dishwasher. The dishwasher at my new apartment complex which was also built around the same time the Savoy was is much newer and works like a charm. No need to wash the dishes beforehand lol .. I live across the street now, the kitchen appliances works much faster, the sink does not spill toxic sewage out and smell like ---, my car is safe and sound and I have peace of mind. Save yourself the trouble and money and find somewhere else Oh and if you lose your laundry card (a small little laminated card w a chip) they will charge you 40 dollars for it like you're at the RITZ lol ..

I moved into the building in January 2018 and ever since it has been incredible. It is quiet, secure and comfortable. The property manager, Debbie, is the absolute sweetest and goes above and beyond to make sure her residents are comfortable. She is kind, generous and always with a smile on her face. If you are looking for a top notch home, this is the place to be. Thank you Debbie!

VERY quiet and safe. Zero issues, problems, or complaints. 90% adults. Building, pool, and lobby kept clean. Plenty of secure underground parking in the gated garage. The street in front of the lobby entrance is wide and smooth lined with trees just a block North from the start of the quiet part of Hollywood Blvd. A mile West from the 101. A couple minutes to the sunset strip. Central to anything and everything.

I absolutely love living here! The first time that I came here, I met Debbie, the building manager. I was instantly impressed by her attention to details and care of the building. They have cameras everywhere, which I love. Being from NY, safety is really important to me. She has always been there for me! I have had two minor "emergencies" and she has literally stopped what she is doing to come up and help me. There is a lovely and helpful maintenance staff, Dan and Miguel. They are both super helpful and nice to talk to. They are always willing to help me with anything at all. The location is the best for me. I am a city girl so I like to walk. I can walk up to Runyon (across the street) and take a yoga class if I am feeling "nature-y" or I can walk down to Hollywood Blvd and be in the heart of Hollywood. There are nearby yoga studios. I love the Runyon Canyon Yoga (Black Market Yoga on FB or IG) they are donation based so classes are $5 or more. I love that I can walk around Hollywood Blvd and shop or eat at a fabulous restaurant. The studios are small but the bathrooms are big. If you are from NY, you are ok with this type of thing. Ha. I love the pool and jacuzzi area. I always feel like I am on a vacation. We have a gym and it is beautiful but I have been too lazy to use it. Parking is included and they have two elevators which is super convenient.
