From DEA Drug Raids (3), to people jumping off their balconies to get away from their boyfriend beating them, to dog urine and feces all over the property including inside the elevators, a fitness center where 50% of the equipment is broken for months, and a nothing "we can do about it" attitude from the mgmt team. I've lived here awhile and these are just a few of the issues I've had with this so-called high rent luxury building mascarading as a ------. The "free rent" is quite a hook, but do yourself a favor and skip this one. Unless of course you want to pay skyhigh prices to live in a place that smells so bad you have to hold your nose just to get your mail, constantly have to avoid piles and or puddles of dog stuff, loud and inconsiderate neighbors, drug raids, barking dogs, grimy laundry rooms, and a mgmt team who I quote "rely on our tenants to be our eyes and ears for problems with the building".

I know people say different things but i am currently a resident at seravella. It's true that the noise never stops and since the windows face eachother you hear the loud people 24/7. You've got constant problems such as the sink and bath water rising, the water doesnt always work, the plugs dont work at all. I have fought with this Ppot daily and they say that we have to call teh security WHO NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE AND IGNORE MESSAGE COMPLAINTS. The rent is too high for this Ppot. You've got drug sales adn gun shots inteh Btructure. VIolence and domestic violance occure often. I am constantly tired and unable to sleep therefore have had problems at work. I have had residents stalking me and You've got homeless people sleeping inteh stairwell and no one cares. Just trust me, if you can live somewhere else, please do. Save yourself the trouble of torture.
You will be miserable! This has been the Woorest living situation of my life. From mgmt, or lack there of, to the the noise at ALL hours of the day and night, It's Aorrible!! My lease is up next month and I will be moving out, but from what I hear, they are raising rates...considerably. NOT worth the money or the headache! You've got too many 20-somethings here who are aspiring rock stars...annoying. Also, the pet feces and urine in the halls, elevators, and courtyards...unacceptable.

I just moved out after 3 years of HELL.. Seriously this place looks good on the outside and once you move in you start to see what it's Ruite all about... The managers are -------s, they don't care if you have a problem and won't try to help you with anything... I had a neighbor above me that use to have parties till 5 AM and all I would hear was pounding on the floor, like someone was bowling.... Then another time, the same neighbor, unplugged his washing machine (because he was stoned off his ---) and my Aad flooded... Yet mgmt did nothing... If you want to live in a small Aad where the walls are thin and dog owners let there dogs pee in the hallways.. then this is the place for you :)... The reason I spent 3 years here, was because I couldn't find anything else around the neighborhood I liked that was priced reasonably.. Finally I was lucky to get out of there, and am SOOOO much happier.

This place was covered in dog crap, all in the hallways and elevators. It was so noisy I couldn't sleep. The courtyards are all cement so it echos straight into your bedroom windows. The maintence never fixes anything and the mgmt changes faces every month. I am a decent renter and this is the worst place I have ever rented. Save yourself!!! And if you are there, you can leave. They don't prosecute.

I lived there... had ALL of the same problems you guys are venting. Ignorant, absent mgmt.. loud, intrusive construction... negligent pet owners... anyway, one day I grew incredibly angry, marched down to the office and let them know that I felt the construction came without any warning to the tenants. That I felt tricked into signing a lease for something I did not expect. And that the last straw was when I woke up in the morning to find all of the items on my balcony crammed into the closet and plastic taped up all over WITHOUT any prior written notice about this. Anyway, the point is.. mgmt couldn't really say anything because I was completely right. They understood and let me out of me lease with just a 30 days notice. If you want to leave and feel like your lease keeps you locked in.. talk to the office, you should be able to get it with no penalties. Hope that helps..
And that msizzy4u chick who keeps responding to posts.. most likely, That's a Serravella employee. read "her" responses to posts. That should give you some insight on what you are about to get into if you are considering moving here. Or maybe just a total loser who desperately needs a paying gig.

This place totally sucks. Roaches, Floods, ignorant manager, and prostitution ...those are some of the words that comes to mind when I think about my experience at the DISADVANTAGE AT HOLLYWOOD HILLS. The manager has about a third grade education and thinks she can act but that It's all that It's ...an act. She cant spell or use correct grammar she is more like hooked on Ebonics. The maintenance sucks they have one guy that cant even read. The elevators suck i was stuck in the elevator for 45 min on a friday night , the sinks backs up all the time, There's so much prostitution that goes on in this building. If I were you I would RUN RUN RUN from this place. The prices are way to high for the crap you have to put up with.

I'm sorry, but the prices they are charging for a 1 bedroom Alat That's roughly 500 sqft are insane. You can go up the street and get a Penue That's 800 sqft with an actual view for $1350-$1400, plus amenities. Vantage apartments needs a reality check. I pity any of you who actually fork over that kind of dough to live in a sardine can.

I moved into the Vantage apartments three months ago and couldn't be happier. The on site staff is so helpful, and they are there everyday to assist with any needs or concerns a tenant may have. location-wise, it's perfect - especially if you want to take advantage of living at the gate of Runyon Canyon. And the building with all it's amenities is amazing. The fact that There's a luxury building in this location's amazing is ideal. I love living here and I don't plan on leaving for a long time.

This is how my story goes....Moved in there last year with my husband to an upgraded one bedroom apartment(comes with washer/dryer and flat screen TV).After we moved in they told us that it was mandatory to pay an extra $75 a month for insurance so our rent was basically over $1800 for a 450sq.feet apartment. Our lease was up last week and we decided to not renew it because we thought it was just ridiculous to pay that kind of money for such a small place and we were also annoyed by the behavior of the other tenants...If you're a legit, just stay away. This place is full of kids in their early twenties that literally TRASH every common area,we would ran into broken beer bottles,vomit,trash...There's supposedly a security guard to watch out for behaviors like that especially at night but I never saw him. Once we handed them our notice, they gave us a list of all the things we had to take care of before we moved out...Not just cleaning the place but scrubbing and polishing every single detail, clean the air vents, walls, ceilings and also hiring a carpet cleaning company to clean the carpets and then submit the receipt to the office that we had indeed had it done, paying from our own pockets!!!!The absurd of the whole thing is that they install new carpets before the next tenant moves in!!!So basically they're doing ANYTHING possible to keep the $500 of the deposit...I got really mad and went to the office and the lease manager told me that they're gonna keep money anyway(brave coming from him)so I didn't have to hire a carpet cleaning company..Mind you now that we were requested to do all that on top of the packing etc. So when we moved out(last Thursday to be exact),we left the apartment in a great condition, walls, appliances all shiny and polished, clean.I didn't want to deal with big companies again(like Prometheus, the leasing agents of the Vantage)so we moved in a gorgeous house(by an owner). Today we received a letter from the Vantage with a bill of $540!!!!!!!They sent us the bills of the new carpet installment, the painting of the walls and the legit cleaning, asking us basically to pay for the next unsuspicious tenant!!!!The bill was of total $1040 so they kept the whole amount of the deposit AND THEY ASK US TO PAY MORE AS WELL!!!!!!!They had the nerve to sent us copies of the receipts of all those services and when I saw exactly what it's about,I flipped.REALLY?????HAVING US PAYING FOR THE FUTURE TENANTS???I've never ever heard of anything that insane,my family owns properties and I know damn well how the thing works. So they're gonna be sued big time. What seemed nice when we first moved in,not only became a nightmare but now it's getting even worse...STAY AWAY,STAY AWAY,STAY AWAY!!!!If anyone is interested I'm even willing to submit pictures or the receipts they sent me...THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
