I lived in this building for two years. My studio was very spacious and comfortable but I moved out for many reasons. If you are someone that likes quiet or is not a morning person DO NOT live in this building. It is extremely loud. There are a few couples that have been living here for over twenty years and don't plan on moving out. They are respectful and quiet and very nice. Because the building is not fully covered and because the whole middle of the building is empty and open EVERY SINGLE NOISE echoes and carries and is amplified. People will be talking on the first floor and I could hear every word up on the fourth floor. Some people work from home and stand outside in the open area to make phone calls and it goes on for hours. For some reason there is ALWAYS some sort of work or construction going on in this building and they do it in the morning. It is impossible to sleep through. The water pipes are CONSTANTLY being worked on so every month they put out a notice that the water will be shut off for a certain amount of hours during the day. Sometimes they work on the pipes without giving notice so the water will randomly be shut off or only the cold water will work. It's beyond frustrating. There is a lady on the first floor that has a bird and sometimes she puts her bird cage outside of her apartment and the bird squawks and screams nonstop, and of course the noise carries throughout the building. The maintenance staff is extremely polite but also very loud. They bang on your door VERY loudly before entering. They play music very loudly while they do work in other apartments and you can hear it no matter what floor they're on. Ernest, the manager is VERY inefficient. He is rarely in his office during regular business hours. Instead of being closed on the weekend the leasing office hours state that they are closed on Sunday and Monday. However, the office is usually closed on Saturdays too. Ernest usually doesn't reply to phone calls or emails until the following day. When there is paperwork needed he takes weeks to get it together and will not respond to your emails/calls about it unless you find him in his office and talk to him in person. All of this combined and plus the building having NO amenities except for a small gym is not worth the expensive rent.

I moved to Kaitlin Court in January 2017. I'm not here too much due to work and social events. Which is perfect I think. The apartment itself is nice, spacious. Recently remodeled with good appliances and a nice look and feel. Unfortunately in my apartment I only have one window in the bedroom and a glass sliding door in the living room which both go directly to the outdoor hallway where everyone walks by, so unless you don't mind everyone walking by seeing you in your apartment, then you have your blinds shut and have a dark apartment, therefore always have to have a light on. Not all apartments in the building are like this however, I think I got one of the few that is. I've never been bothered by noise, which is great as walls are super thin. I can hear neighbors all around and when ever they pass outside my apartment. Fortunately, residence are very nice and calm, so I've never heard excessive noise. The manager, Ernest, is great. He's always available when needed and has been quick with the few minor repairs I've needed in the apartment (same day). There are always two friendly faces that greet me every morning as they keep the building very clean. A great spot if you're looking to move to Hollywood.

Excellent place to live. Great neighbors. Wonderful building. And Ernest, just like Tatiana, Stephanie, and Samantha before him, manage the building above and beyond the call of duty. I've lived in the building for a long time and it would be hard to find a better place to live. Decron owns the building and keeps up the building with the amazing help of Luis and Diana. AA++++

Look no further! This is a great apartment community to live. My husband and I moved to Kaitlin Court several years ago, and to us this feels like home. Centrally located in Hollywood, you're minutes away from everything you could want. Delicious eateries are abundant on Sunset (check out Chibiscus and Takara Ramen) and you're right across the street from Ralph's. We love walking down to Meltdown Comics, Pop Killer, the kooky "spirit" shop, and all those guitar stores. If you have pets, there's a Petco nearby too. The apartment complex has transformed over the years, and never looked better. One morning I stepped outside to discover the whole building was completely repainted like a 1920s bungalow chalet. It seriously looks GREAT - very cozy, tucked away feel. The manager, Stephanie, is a doll. Friendly, courteous, and on-top-of-----! I don't know how she does it. She's always made us and our dogs feel welcome, and we're eternally grateful (you pet owners know). Also super fast/easy maintenance repairs. Just place a work order online, and you're good to go! I couldn't recommend this place more. Great location, comfortable units. Very minimal noise-transfer, and ample underground parking. It's a safe, low-key neighborhood in a fabulous part of LA. Forget the Silver Lake hype. Move here instead. :)

Kaitlin Court is a great place to live. Many of the apartments are newly renovated to reflect a more modern living space, and Stephanie and her management team do a terrific job keeping the place, neat, tidy, and up to date, with constant improvements year round that only better this older building. I've lived here for 4 years, and haven't once had an issue that wasn't resolved immediately. Wonderful neighborhood, great, secure building. 5 STARS!

After living in a large community for over 5 years and not receiving personal attention by management it is nice to finally experience a smaller community with a manager who cares about the individuals who rent. The manager is also very friendly and is always around to answer any questions or hear any concerns. In addition, management allows all dogs as long as they are well behaved! The manager always has treats available for all the dogs in the complex which is so nice! Maintenance is quick to respond to any tickets that are placed in the system and is fixed within 24 hours. Parking is super convenient, it is all assigned so you don't have to worry about not having a parking spot if you get home late. There is also a limited amount of guest parking but is typically available. Overall, I would recommend living at Kaitlin Court Apartments. It is centrally located to many restaurants, grocery stores and runyon canyon which is an added bonus!

I've lived here for over 3 years and I sadly have to relocate for work. I will dearly miss Kaitlin Court, it's been a fantastic place to live with great neighbors and a kind and personable landlord. The units are extremely spacious for the price and the neighborhood. I have never before or since seen a studio the size of mine with a full kitchen. The community has amenities galore with a great maintenance staff who take care of any issues quickly. Pets are welcome, and it feels like a tiny neighborhood. Stephanie, the landlord, is incredibly friendly and always around to answer questions or solve problems. Whoever moves in after me will be moving into a fantastic place :)

Reserved parking is the biggest plus. Besides that the apartments were spacious with good appliances and I enjoyed the balcony. Only downside would be the noise, walls are pretty thin.

I've been living here since April 2013. Great location, inexpensive compared to many of the other apartments in the area and much nicer than some of the smaller/similar size over-priced buildings in the area. Big plus is that it allows pets (including larger dogs). The community is mixed with young professionals to older retirees. Pretty quiet, close proximity to Hollywood Blvd, multiple grocery stores and restaurants. Safe, parking (including guest spots...although limited) and street parking that doesn't require a permit is a huge plus. Management is friendly and quick to respond to any issues. Maintenance is quick and completed usually on the day it's requested. Overall, I've been very content here. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
