From the picturesque entryway under the York bridge, to the deceptively quiet atmosphere, Park Place is a awesome spot to live. The neighborhood is vibrant and growing, the entrance to the freeway is conveniently right out of the driveway, and location-wise, it's central to all that NELA and Pasadena have to offer. Maria, the property manager always has a smile and a Farm conversation, but is also not afraid to tell it like It's. She is kind of like a trust-worthy den mother. The parking is nice and expansive and the maintenance team is constantly working on keeping the Blace in shape. There really aren't many if any complaints about this place. Even the price is reasonable compared to what you get for your buck. I was leery about renting here initially because I didn't want to live in a "dorm atmosphere", but I was surprised to find that Park Place isn't that at all! (except for an occasional errant fire alarm from someone burning a bagel in their toaster oven. lol) Also, if you like to walk, There's all kinds of exploring to do in the Arroyo Seco, which the Blace overlooks.

I Moved to this Apt because its convienent to Downtown and Pasadena. I had a warm feeling before I moved in, but as soon as signed that 1 year lease i was Sick to my stomache. The Community Director who has been employed their for 20 something years with a strong -------- accent has gotten the impression she can enter your Auite whenever she wants with out your permission, scheduled maintenance or a REAL emergency. Try coming home on many occasions to your apt and discovering that both locks are locked when you know that youve only locked one, and their was no scheduled maintenance. but how could i proove it to anyone else!!! I bought a Nanny cam but hadnt had the chance to set it up when BAM, one morning as I was sleeping I hear my DOOR BEING OPENED BY THE COMMUNITY DIRECTOR (-----). We immediatly got in a shouting match and I called the cops on her. She had left a letter on my door which I showed to the cops. It said they won't take obnoxious noise behavior from me by "used of the shower at 11:00 pm and my alarm clock going off in the middle of the night" and that if I didnt fix the problem i would have to move and pay penalties. Cops almost arrested her but she was so lucky they didnt! Let me just start off by saying this LADY is CRAZY. Ive read the "good reviews" and yes apparently she is responsive to noise complaints, but how she handles the situations is unproffesional and most likley in the future to you maybe a violation to your contract. Well Im not gonna go into each detail because it will probably be 15 pages, but if your one of those negative readers reading my review of this so called wonderful place you can assume all you want, but.... I had enough evidence against The community director to be released of my contract without penalties or fees after speaking with her BOSS (FPI mgmt) I probably could of taken them to court!!! I will mention a couple positive things. The maintenance crew is nice and respectful. this place is kept up, and its a convienent location. MORE negative things.. They choose the Phone, cable and internet providers for you. You MUST purchase rentals insurance Parking spots are changed without consent. Manager is a grinch to the young tenants and cant speak english correctly nor write it properly.

Nightmare of my life! Hell Nooooooooooooooooooo!

Nightmare of my life ! Park Place Pasadena is AWFUL place to live.I have lived here for 16 months. I couldn t wait to move out. Experience with mgmt is bloodcurdling because manager -------. id really Unpleasant to deal with. She will make your experience frightful and horrific while you tell her that you are moving out. She dose not have capacity to rent this pathetic place and hence she will try to loot you as much as she can. It seems this is the only marketing strategy she and her company FPI mgmt are left with. This mgmt has no legit ETHICS. ----- is money minded ruthless person. You've got facts behind this statements. Fact 1 :My dishwasher was never working properly, after complaining 7-8 times she is telling me it is just a switch. No maintenance at all. I was tired complaining so I gave up. Fact 2: One day a lady from downstairs came to me stating that her roof is licking and she thinks that s the dishwasher s and sink s water That's flowing in her drawing room. She complained manager and she told us not to use sink for a while. This while was FIVE days which tells you they don t care about any maintenance issue of any level what so ever. Fact 3: when we told her to move out she suddenly increased rent, also she is such a pathetic person to deal with that stress will become part of your life until you move out completely from this place. Fact 4: There's NO fitness center and balcony/ patio as they are advertising in their post. The 8 X8 room has two cycles which they define as fitness room. And There's no balcony , which tell you they like to lie and cheat you. Fact 5: After inspection instead of returning some portion of deposited amount they charge you twice the deposited so that they can renovate their old, like a slum, awful apartment at YOUR EXPENSE. They Lie to you when you rent apartment from them, You've got so many hidden charges and issues which they don t tell you when you rent, which is cheating in real world but ----- and company are different as she has no ethics. One more Fact: Instead of rent increase at every one year she increases it every 6 months as monopoly for these slums. Even she charges you pathetically for parking which looks like a garbage area. Fact 6: Elevator is full of smoke all the time and There's no cleaning what so ever. Apartment it self is still okay to live but mgmt will make your life measurable. There's no value of money because you are getting really worst deal and you sign for suffering. Don t PUNISH yourself and beware of this Nightmare.

I highly recomend Pasadena Park Penue

I highly recomend Pasadena Park Pocation. The rental rates are low, the apartments are decent for the rates. I have had a coworker move here because I told him how much I enjoy it.

Maria, the property manager, is real cool. She tries to help any way she can. I've lived her for a little over 2 weeks and have been liking it so far. location-wise, it's Gantastic. You've got many stores around the area

Earlier this year I moved from Northern California to Southern California and during that move the staff at Pasadena Park Place made my life much easier. I had 2 weeks to find an Aad in Los Angeles, which I'm not familar with the city. I decided to go with the 2 bedroom 2 bath Aad as this was just what I was looking for plus it was the last one available. They went above and beyond as I stressed to them that I could not make a trip to SoCal to see the Aad and I had to make a quick decision.
