At the time I rented at 11676 (which is the same as 11678) the rent was cheap for the area, $575. Now the going rate for these apartments may be over $700 a month. They are tiny. No dishwashers, no parking, no laundry, no AC, almost no space to call your own. On the plus side, the neighborhood is great. Walk to just about anything that you may desire. The neighbors are friendly (you have to be because you live so close to each other) and some of them have their own gardens by the edges of the walkways. The apartments really are cute. But how good is cute when you want to have more than one friend over at a time?
When I friends over for the first time this is what they almost always say, "I know you said it was small but I had no idea you meant this small. How can you even live here? The neighborhood seems nice though."
Everyone likes this neighborhood. Good luck finding a parking space when the nearby restraunts are open.
One other thing, look out for the possum. It lives underneath the apartments. It´s the only unfriendly neighbor.
These are cute apartments and the neighborhood is great. Is that really worth over $700 a month?
