“Pros: - Clean and commons areas always smell good and cleaned - Trash chute and recycle is always disposed of timely - Maintenance responds quickly (day of) and fixes things - Good insulation double paned windows Cons: - Personal preference but I live in a studio and only have one window so can get stuffy - Wish the bathroom vent was stronger”
— 180 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 4V Pros: Management is incredibly responsive, fixes things almost immediately without any fuss Staff are all lovely and great at their jobs Cons: It's on a corner with a stop light, it can get a bit noisy sometimes, but the windows are good to block it out”
— 180 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Management is so responsive, maintenance requests take minutes rather than months like my previous buildings. The doormen are all extremely friendly and not only remember specific details about us, but even some of our frequent visitors. It’s really a great place to live. Cons: It’s on a corner with a stop light, you get the occasional long honk, which is annoying, but not the worst thing.”
— 180 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Doormen, super, and building staff are very friendly and responsive. My unit is gets lots of natural light and has a balcony, which is awesome. Has a gym that is cleaned frequently. Cons: No water fountain in the gym and the equipment doesn't reflect what people actually want to use. The second floor inside common area is not as useful as it could be because the layout is funny, and the outside area doesn't allow dogs despite having a real grass lawn, and there are no fire pits or pool to really attract people. Management is nearly impossible to get ahold of for lease or building questions. And they stopped giving out spare keys at the front desk. Advice to landlord: Allow dogs on the second floor lawn, or do something useful with that area like add a pool. Switch out some of the ellipticals for treadmills in the gym. Give your building staff a raise- they are awesome. Upgrade the AC units in the whole building. They're loud and not as effective as they should be.”
“Pros: Good water pressure in showers. Gas stoves, nice appliances. Good insulation against street noise. Awesome outdoor patio on the second floor. Nice gym. Nice neighbors. Great building staff, doormen are super friendly, maintenance is very quick and responsive. Cons: AC units are very loud and clunky, I expected better from a luxury building like this. Walls aren't great at blocking noise from neighbors. Management staff can be hard to reach ( for questions about leases etc). Advice to landlord: Upgrade the AC units”
— 180 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: The staff in this building are top notch. All of my issues, which are few, have been dealt with immediately and properly. The building is extremely clean. The staff at the front desk are great, really makes it feel like home. Cons: Honestly, not much. I don’t like that the window open outward and have no screens to keep bugs out. The HVAC/PTAC heating/cooling units work but are pretty dumb and loud.”
— 180 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Clean, well maintained, friendly people, attentive maintenance, a great living experience all round! Cons: None at all! Advice to landlord: Keep it up!”
— 180 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: New(ish), great staff, well maintained, no amenity fee, washer dryer in unit, convenient to transit Cons: Air conditioners in unit are loud and inefficient, I have a loud neighbor that plays music all day, across the street from projects.”
— 180 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Extremely clean. Super responsive maintenance staff for issues small and big (which are rare)! The doormen and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Cons: The heat and air conditioners are built into the wall and very old - they don’t circulate very well and are extremely noisy. Advice to landlord: Replace or update for central heat / air. The cost living here is too high to not have it.”
— 180 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Love the amenities, furnishings are nice, floor plans are much more spacious than similar buildings. Cons: A few mechanical things to get used to, namely the kitchen sink water pressure is on the low side. (Very mild complaint obviously)”
