“The Pierrepont is a visually beautiful and well maintained building. The common areas are kept clean, maintenance is responsive, and the front desk staff is consistently professional and pleasant. Day to day interactions with building staff are positive and helpful. That said, there have been several notable challenges. Shortly after move in, kitchen cabinetry issues required replacement, and the repair process took approximately one to two months to fully resolve, which was disruptive. Certain advertised features of the apartment, including heated floors, have not functioned since move in, and this has remained unresolved for approximately a year. Prospective tenants should also be aware that outside street noise can be heard even from higher floor units, more than one might expect in a luxury building. There have also been ongoing disturbances from a neighboring unit, including repeated late night dog barking and hallway sanitation concerns. While management has indicated they are addressing the matter through formal channels, resolution has been slow, and the situation has significantly affected overall living experience. The building has strong amenities and a great staff, but like any property, the quality of life can be influenced by neighboring tenants and the speed at which issues are resolved. It is worth doing thorough due diligence before signing a lease.”

The convenience of having a nice gym at the lower level is also a big plus. It’s also very convenient to be able to go out and enter from the Montague Street side.”

— 146 PIERREPONT STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 5 Pros: Very clean and pretty well-run. The porters and doormen are very nice. Gym is great. Cons: The dog spa didn't have a garbage can or towels or anything — was just a high sink, high table, and water. We had an interior courtyard view on a low floor, so didn't get any light (not their fault).”
