“Unit 21C Pros: Great views from higher up, nice apartment size, really friendly staff, incredibly convenient location, always responsive to requests Cons: C line of building gets way too much sun, fixtures should be nicer for the price, air conditioning not as effective in larger areas.”
— 45 WEST 60 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Great location. Right near Central Park, 5 subway lines, and Whole Foods. Cons: The elevators are SO loud. You can hear them every t8me they pass, AND I LIVE FAR DOWN THE HALL. And I think there are rodents in the walls. Advice to landlord: Fix the wheels of the elevators.”
— 45 WEST 60 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Very responsive staff and management, always responded same day to any concerns or repairs Staff mostly friendly Building and apartment in decent shape Cons: So far this year, it seems more than half of weeks there’s some kind of noise work during working hours. Some is building-related facade inspections work, and some is work on the sidewalk or street. Management was initially inconsistent at informing residents beforehand but have gotten much better. Advice to landlord: Keep giving us a consistent heads up before noise work starts so we can plan our work days.”
— 45 WEST 60 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Good location, but busy Cons: Services have been severely cut. Elevators constantly out of service. Mgmt does not care about individual concerns, they are focused on their bottom line. Trash rooms are always a mess. Dirty water often in sinks/showers. Advice to landlord: Invest in your building. Stop cutting services. Allow delivery to use all elevators. Archaic policies.”
— 45 WEST 60 STREET · Manhattan“The Regent offers nice apartments at reasonable prices. It is a no frills building with basic apartments. We have had one complaint but it is a major one that the super/management just can't seem to fix. BRown water. Once a week, while trying to bathe our daughter brown sludge pours from the faucet. The management will tell you it's safe to drink, but it is enough to make us move out. We gave them almost a year to fix it, but they don't seem to think it's a problem. I wouldn't move here with kids!!”
