“Pros: Front desk and maintenance staff are wonderful and feel a part of your community at home. Building is very well maintained and clean, the crew and porters are very attentive and thorough. Never an issue with packages as they organize the well. TFC is responsive and building is stabilized so YoY increases are nominal, in our opinion. The location is unbeatable: you’re close to the park and Greenpoint. You are equidistant (5 mins) to Lorimer/Metropolitan and Bedford subways. Cons: Walls and floors/ceilings are on the thin side so you will occasionally hear your neighbors walking above you and next door if they have heavy bass on. That said, residents are a mix of families and professionals so they are mostly respectful. North 10th is a street that will have double parkers from the business across the street or building deliveries. It’s also a street that fire trucks come down so living on the street can occasionally be noisy but not anything out of the ordinary from normal city noise.”
— 236 NORTH 10 STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 638 Pros: Great staff, responsive management, sound-proof windows, quite hallways, great location. Cons: Kind or a weird design that requires a long trek to the elevator on one side of the building.”
— 236 NORTH 10 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: -It’s reasonably priced but this has started to change recently -great location close to McCarren and the L and G -the amenities are nice but standard (great roof) -the staff is great and helpful, maintenance issues are fixed quickly -onsite garage but the rates have gone up to $500/mo Cons: Construction is cheap: -there is very little noise insulation between units (in walls and the floor/ceiling which is not usually the case for luxury buildings in Williamsburg) -the windows/window treatments are not the best so you hear the outside noise -the building creaks…there are random sounds of the building shifting and windows “popping” -the bathroom mirror is incredibly low such that nothing over 4” tall can be kept on the counter -there are two sets of elevators, one to go from -the elevator layout can be annoying, the ground level to the 1st floor, then separate elevators to go from 1st floor to 2nd-6th floors”
“Unit 324 Pros: The doormen are excellent! They respond to any issues you have in the apartment very promptly. Cons: The price is high and service elevator is slow”

— 236 NORTH 10 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Loved this building and still love all the staff- maintenance, cleaning, front desk crew- who made it feel like home. Cons: After 3 years, TFC management has managed to ruin the building with strict rules, insane rent increases, random new hidden fees added to rent, and in responsiveness from leasing office.”
— 236 NORTH 10 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Wonderful, long-term, responsive staff who knows your name and genuinely cares. Extremely clean building — probably the cleanest building I've ever lived in! I have never seen a single scary NYC critter in 5 years. Great location, just far enough away from the main drag that you have peace and quiet. Lovely courtyard with birds chirping. Very dog friendly. Gym is never too busy. Cons: Soundproofing between walls could be a tiny bit better. I'm blessed with a neighbor who enjoys watching Star Wars 24/7 on volume 100, but prior to him, I had normal neighbors and never had a problem.”
