I've had a great experience at Bay Vista. The staff is great! Dimir, the super, is amazing! Neal the PM is so nice and really works with the residents here. This is NYC and there's issues in every building but it's the team that makes a difference. The maintenance team is on top of every issue and eager to resolve anything that comes up. The grounds are always taken care of. The front desk staff is amazing and so helpful always. Also the building is pet friendly, I have two dogs and they have so many doggie friends. Love it here!

This Btructure is literally and figuratively in the shadow of Towers at Waters Edge right next door. I've lived here for almost two years and can't say much good about this place. The best thing is that the staff are all nice, and the location is great. You can walk to Bay Terrace in ten minutes. Structurally, this Btructure is awful. I happen to have super noisy neighbors above and around me, so I hear everything. Arguments, music that seeps through closed doors if it's anywhere near a door, children running in the hall above me, and doors slamming. Oh, the doors slamming. It shakes my living room when people do it. Sometimes, people aren't even that loud and I can hear them because walls are so thin. I appreciate that there are doormen here, but they don't do a damn thing. They don't stop or announce guests or food delivery, most of all. They're pretty much only good for receiving packages. Finally, there's the roaches. It used to be that I would see a few every month when the exterminator came to spray in the garbage rooms and whatnot, but now I see them every day and everywhere. They come up through the plumbing in the bathroom, and in the walls, even the bedroom. The day I see one in my bed is the day I set it on fire and move out. Roaches are the reason why I moved out of my last place, and I didn't think I would face them here too. mgmt doesn't seem to care at all, they just want money from crazy rent increases and parking spot fees (which you can do without, but have fun parking in the summer when the nearby pool is open). I'm sorry we moved here. I really am. The most I can be thankful for is that it isn't falling down around us.

The apartments are larger than you'd find around the neighborhood and HUGE balconys are nice. You've got some Renuinely nice tenants and workers, its a shame the mgmt is so poor they are downright horrible. It's evident that tenants are nothing more than replaceable rent-roll to the landlord who has no intention of making people want to stay more than a year or 2.<br>The surrounding grounds are delapidated, You've got weeds, a pile of dirt that used to be a pool, and a cul de sac with a community pool that costs several hundred dollars for annual membership.
