We moved in here in 2009 with a 1 bed $1300 rent. Every year was a $50 raise which was okay but this year they wanted $150 and a bunch of new strange additions to the lease. This apartments are not worth $1600. They are insanely small and have no amenities and also no pet policy. The walls are uneven and the ceilings are cracked but this was no big deal I just decided I wanted a bigger space with washer and drier and central AC and pets allowed. The maintenance is great, they come and fix things fairly quick. The rent can be payed by check or money order only, no online payments. The neighborhood is safe, you can be out walking at any hour. The only sounds issues I had was the moaning and all the sexual sounds from my neighbors but I fixed it with a humidifier in the winter and air purifier in the summer ( they worked as white noise). I never complained to the mgmt because it's apartment living so sounds will be heard no matter what.

I've lived here for a long time but am finally getting out. There's hardly ever any Heated water or heat and the walls are paper thin. I can hear my neighbors TV, music and even conversations! Roaches are increasing daily and mgmt does nothing to address complaints.

Lease is up in a few months and can NOT WAIT to get out. Besides having a neighbor who moans and bangs furniture around from 10 pm - 4 am every single night, the buildings are legit falling apart. Hot water barely works, common areas and disgusting and cluttered with trash and Gonderful luck getting prop mgmt to do anything. Beyond useless doesn't even start to describe them. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and don't waste your time with ARIS

Would stay away. Personally, can't wait to move out. Feels like living in a dorm room. Never a quite moment, walls are too thin and There's always noise. I am listening to salsa music, opera music, electric guitar music every day. No change despite complaints?

the apartments in this Besidence are at another level from all around the neighborhood! They are immaculately spotless and fully renovated, freshly painted, grout all cleaned in bathroom and many apartments have the exposed brick which was appealing aestetically to myself! All wooden floors are sanded and polyurethaned also!all apartments speak for themselves when you view them in cleanliness and upkeeping! Super is on site and is available for all tenants needs as some other buildings in area we saw seemed run down and no super in sight. Two Laundromat facilities available for tenants are an added plus! Cameras are everywhere as safety is of importance ! Guperb quiet neighborhood and astoria park is so close and Guperb to have nearby!!Astounding apartments and area to live in! I am extremely happy i chose these apartments at Crescent street!
