Unit 501 Pros: Responsive staff, clean building Cons: There was construction when I initially rented and it was very loud but now it's done

Pros: I had an apartment facing South (36th st) tucked into the short end of this L shaped building on the 17th floor. The soundproof windows were great, no pests, no complaints Cons: The water was GROSS. It has so many minerals the tub was always coppery, there is mold and I needed to get an air purifier

Pros: Full service building with updated units, in-unit laundry and good space for each bedroom without being flex units. Cons: Neighborhood is loud so anything on the lower floors is quite noisy. Above 15 is probably more quiet.

Pros: Modern Amenities: In-unit washer/dryer, open kitchens, wood flooring, gym, co-working space, and a rooftop with a fireplace and grills. Great Location: Right in Midtown, close to restaurants, coffee shops, and everything else NYC has to offer. Pet-Friendly: Allows pets, which is a plus if you have one Cons: The accounting lady at the end was so rude unnecessarily, ironically called Karen.

Pros: Doormen are nice, new super Manny is great. Cons: Building manager is a PSYCHO. Building has a roach problem. Don't be fooled by the nice lobby it is all smoke and mirrors. Advice to landlord: Seal up all of the holes, stop the elevator from rattling, find a new building manager who does not run the place like an authoritarian state

Pros: Great Neighbors, nice gym, great location, doorman are fantastic, amazing rooftop Cons: pest problems that will never go away, cheap fixes on issues (maintenance teams puts a band aid on issues where it will eventually break again), management is very slow to respond to you, management got rid of storage lockers, management is not open to feedback or working with you on issues you are having. Advice to landlord: take courses in customer service. we can't wait for our lease to be done so we can escape.

Pros: Great quality of living with all the amenities you need. I think they're working on making it even nicer. Cons: THey make you pickup your food delivery orders FROM THE LOBBY!! Ridiculous rule that makes no sense. New management is slightly stricter and actively imposing new rules. Also my shower sometimes takes like 40 minutes to heat up which is not acceptable. Apparently it's because the apartments above mine aren't occupied.

Pros: Doormen and cleaners are very friendly Gym is usually well maintained Lobby is clean and packages never get stolen or go missing Spacious Nice common areas Maintenance folks are handy Cons: The management is nonresponsive. I’ll have to email them 5 times to get one response, sometimes weeks after. If you require maintenance that isn’t fixable on-site, it takes them a long time to dispatch someone to fix the property The water either shuts off or loses heating at least one day a month. It’s extremely unreliable and the management often does not acknowledge it happens until hours or days later. Advice to landlord: Be more responsive!
