Pros: This building is in a great location - close to East Village spots but on a pretty quiet street. Elevator service, laundry in basement, rooftop with tables, package lockers. I found the building to be clean and the super to be responsive, and overall had a good experience living here. Cons: Don’t really have any true cons. Occasionally it felt like some residents weren’t being super respectful of the space in the basement recycling/trash area. (Building staff was amazing at handling though!)

Unit 409 Pros: Great super. Laundry in basement. Nice rooftop. Quiet - I hardly ever hear my neighbors. Hardly any problems in 3yrs aside from a small leak Cons: Package lockers often get full l your packages are left out in the open. However the super is amazing at bringing them to your door or putting them in a locker. Advice to landlord: Frankie is amazing give him a raise!!

Pros: I lived here 12 years and Frankie was the best super ever. My current building in Hoboken has a totally unresponsive super who does not care. And it makes me miss Frankie. Really if you have a good super in the building - you have peace, you have everything running smoothly, you have a safe and clean building. So cheers to Frankie from across the river. Cons: I only moved because it was during the pandemic and the city was crazy at that time. If I ever moved back it would be to this building and to Frankie. Bettina was great too. Advice to landlord: Give Frankie a raise. He is one of a kind and a gem.

Pros: Two efficient elevators. Electronic package system which helps prevent packages getting stolen. Washer and drier in the basement work well, and the dryers are new. We have a finished roof which all tenant have access to. AC units in each bedroom. If there is ever an issue the live in super is great! Cons: You pay for laundry. Not a ton of natural sunlight in the bedrooms. I have had a package stolen once (rare for our building).

Unit 203 Pros: Amazing super, nice apartments if you face the street. They gave us money off rent due to scaffolding. I’ve never had a package stolen from here! Cons: Expensive, the have issues with hot water or water being brown, but happens < 2 hours / month Advice to landlord: Frankie is the best!

Pros: Management is reliable and building is overall well taken care of. Super is responsive and very helpful. No pest or utility issues. Repairs generally fixed quickly. Cons: Neighbors tend to be young, especially in summertime. Not surprising for the neighborhood but the building didn’t seem to care even during very loud parties. Building is well maintained but could use some aesthetic maintenance- new carpets, paint, etc.
