Pros: Clean Lobby, Nice Location, Laundry In Building, Spacious and Affordable Units, outdoor kitty that roams the premises :) Cons: - Hard to Contact Landlord - Unit was not very well kept and I found a lot of dead roaches and mice poop in the kitchen cabinets, but luckily no living creatures to my knowledge Advice to landlord: Work on responsiveness

Pros: History, elevator, live-in super, laundry in basement Cons: Very little security, unresponsive and inconsistent super who only works during limited hours and will not fix most issues, rats in basement

Pros: Beautiful building, kind neighbors, helpful super, low noise, nice block, good laundry Cons: Age is apparent at time, intermittent leaks

Unit 47 Pros: So many great things about this building - quiet street, near park, near train, safe. Cons: HUGE CON - PISTILLI REALTY CO. The landlords were purposely unhelpful with roach infestation for years and when there was significant water damage and leaks in the building. DO NOT RENT FROM PISTILLI.

Unit 32 Pros: Having very little management presence makes it pleasant to go about our business on a daily basis. No annoying requests or messages from the super or management, etc. Also generally respectful and quiet neighbors. Cons: It’s a pretty standard prewar sh*thole. Roaches everywhere, definitely a history of mice, leaky pipes that have left mold in my bathroom. Management is the modern-day equivalent of New York City slumlords. They absolutely do not care. Advice to landlord: You could try responding to even one single email.

Pros: The location near Riverside Park and Columbia University. Cons: The amount of traffic coming down the street from the West Side Highway, and there are absolutely no amenities. Packages left in the lobby disappear all the time. Advice to landlord: Start caring about your investment and stop treating it as an ATM. Invest in the property!
