Pros: Loved living at 200 W 60th. Great location, good building management and doormen/porters, and overall a very safe experience. Cons: Noise. Noise. Noise. For the 5+ years I lived in this building, the constant noise of construction made me want to bash my head in with a jackhammer. The building acoustics are terrible if you live adjacent to a stairwell and construction noise happening on ANY floor will travel right into your apartment. Also, the hallway acoustics are terrible and you can hear doors slamming all day and night! It sounds like a hotel on Planet Construction.

Pros: The doormen are nice. The neighbours are nice. Cons: No water or heat which is illegal. Cockroaches and mice in the gym, playroom and also at a lot of apartments. Renovation happening in most floors so constant noise. A lot of people smoke in their apartments and the elevators smell and also the floors. Look at the bad yelp reviews

Unit 3E Pros: Clean Amenities, and the Amenity space is ok. No pest issues so far during my stay in 2022-2023. Cons: The plumbing in the kitchen sink and bathroom is old. Mold will accumulate in the kitchen sink and bathroom, requiring tenants to clean it on a monthly basis. Management is not flexible when breaking the lease because they said it would take a month to transfer the lease, which discouraged most of the new tenants. The bathroom is not properly finished in terms of plumbing. Advice to landlord: Renovate the bathroom spaces in the units

Pros: Well maintained, aesthetically pleasing, renovated Cons: Old building with retro fitted luxury so often there’s no hot water because of tank maintenance, elevators regularly out of commission, crazy levels of noise from the school across the street during the day. Advice to landlord: Insulation for windows

Pros: amazing doormen, super friendly and helpful with anything! Good location in a safe spot. Cons: Constant construction from apartment renovations that goes on way longer than estimated. Water/heat shut offs frequently at least 4-5 times a month. Heat is constantly on inside apartments with no real way to turn it off. Used to not charge residents for amenities and now they do.

Pros: The Lincoln Square neighborhood is amazing, close to Central Park and Lincoln center. The building itself is ok. Cons: Management is a nightmare to deal with. The building is undergoing huge renovations but rents are still very high. Advice to landlord: Take your residents complaints seriously, even if it means cutting on your (huge) margins in doing so.
