Pros: Management runs the building well and any issues have been resolved quickly. Great location and a wonderful place to live. Cons: The boiler has had issues a few times but they have repaired it and kept us informed each time. Advice to landlord: None

Pros: The building has the nice units. Cons: The management poor, they charge for everything even for the drain dryer pump which was impossible to be broken by the tenant since it’s installed inside of the machine. Advice to landlord: Be more understandable.

Pros: Maintenance staff was always helpful. It is better to approach them directly than go through property manager who is useless. Cons: Landlord/ property manager is an awful person, does not care about tenants, made this a terrible and stressful place to live. Was afraid to put in maintenance requests because she will blame you, not assist, not care. Never experienced such an awful person in rental properties before. She is the reason I moved out. Advice to landlord: Get a new property manager with people skills

Pros: Great location very close to the park. Good views from the big windows of our apartment. Cons: The management who is also the landlord’s daughter is the same and only person who does all the communications. She is incredibly unpleasant, arrogant, entitled, “know-it-all” and rude to deal with if you have any issues with the apartment. The minute you sign the lease, good customer service stops to exist. Tenant never comes first. Advice to landlord: To the landlord’s daughter who is currently running the building: “Get work experience in real estate and tenant management where you are actually required to have pleasant communication skills to simply keep your job.” To the landlords himself: “Hire a management company to operate this property.”

Pros: Unfortunately I can’t think of anything Cons: Management has no feelings for tenants. Once you sign the contract, they change attitudes. Supers visit often to borrow money and it’s annoying. Just overall a cumbersome place to be in. Also they raised the rent during COVID. Advice to landlord: Be nice to your tenants. Smile. Say hi. Respond to their requests. Took months to change the AC and we were dying! Also raising rent for renewal during COVID, while other units in the building are offered at a cheaper rent with promotions. It is ridiculous.
