Unit 500 Pros: The building is great, neighbors and guests are respectful. Plenty of pets and common areas. Waterfront living. The area is great and everything is modern and clean for the most part. Cons: Maybe the fact that there are too many people in the building. Can get busy. Easy to make friends if you’re more of a social person, but a lot of people can be snobby. A lot of people also Airbnb their apartments so you’re constantly seeing new faces come in an out. So, it’s hard to ever harness a real sense of community. A lot of parties and can feel like a dorm at times. A lot of people have problems getting help from maintenance and getting responses from management. I’m pretty handy so if anything goes wrong I just fix it. The one time my thermostat wasn’t working I requested help and maintenance fixed it immediately. Maybe I’ve gotten lucky.

Pros: Nice designer appliances and friendly concierge/package room attendant. Cons: Paper thin walls and loud neighbors - you can hear them loud and clear all day, and the management ignores complaints. Unit is dark and filthy. Advice to landlord: Address complaints.

Pros: Great location. New building. Good amenities Cons: Building management sucks. Drug dealers live in the building. Management has no answers to deal with constant smoke, noise and strangers who come and leave at will. Advice to landlord: Vet the tenants

Pros: - Building is gorgeous with great amenities - Location and views are incredible - Neighbors are friendly & super social - Front desk staff are super helpful Cons: - Clearly cut corners in the building process - stuff breaks down from time to time + tons of pluming issues - Building management is not at all responsive and when you do finally reach them they are dismissive - Amenity rules are very restrictive. Makes it difficult to use them or share them with friends. Advice to landlord: - Take time to actually listen to the concerns of tenants - That building management be more responsive and friendlier in their comms - Make amenity rule more flexible and less restrictive. They are a huge reason we pay what we do to live here. - Address important infrastructure issues especially around plumbing. An apartment flooding with sewage water is absolutely unacceptable.
