“The new name of these horrible ------ town homes is WILCREST ARBOR. All the issues in the reviews are accurate. They are cheap and the maintenance is half----. Before the new management started moving everyone in as long as you don't have a felony, it was okay. If you don't like kids don't move here because they are everywhere. The trash areas are always nasty. Grocery carts are always in the driveway. If you love company, I'd recommend you move someone else if you don't want negative reactions. It's like the projects. When you get inside the gate, everyone has nasty windows and broken blinds. The police is always in the complex frequently, so much they take forever to come when theyre called. Dudes hang out at the front gate drinking beer and smoking. They have no job, so this is all day. Loud music could be heard clearly through the thin walls. the exit gate is always broken and now its bent and looks horrible. RUN AWAY Parking is horrible, broken vehicles and no enforcement on improperly parked vehicles. HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE”

“I have live at suncrest village since Aug 2010 and I have had problems since. Went thought three mananger and they just seem to be getting worst. They think it is eazy to move then to fix anything. The new owners just bought this place on June 2012 and the new manager is an -------. We have problem with "BED BUGS" and they wont do anything about. We were on fox 26 news in june 2012. The city has been out here three times. They have law suit on them for things that have happen over. Like the roof falling on people and the list goes on. They dont fix anything everyone pays difference monthly rent pool has not been clean for 2 yrs. PROBLEMS WITH EVERYTHING THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU MOVE IN AT SUNCREST VILLAGE @ 10901 VILLAGE BEND. They are change the name as well; if its not the same name its still the same place.”

“I LIVED IN 907 AT THESE TOWN HOMES AND IT WAS A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET BUT I STAYED ON THEIR ---. I ALWAYS PAID MY RENT AT LEAST 10 DAYS BEFORE DUE AND I WAS NOT TAKING NO B.S. EVERYONE GOES THROUGH A BUNCH OF B.S. MY FIRST MISTAKES WAS MOVING INTO A PLACE THAT DIDN'T WANT A SECURITY DEPOSIT. WHILE THERE I ENDURED 3 MANAGERS. THEY EVEN POSTED A RENT DUE SIGN ON MY DOOR ONCE AND I HAD PAID IT 11 DAYS BEFORE. I LET THEM HOES HAVE IT AGAIN. IF PUSH HAD COME TO SHOVE THE NEWS CHANNELS WERE MY NEXT STEP. IT IS SAD HOW PEOPLE TREAT YOU.”

I HAVE LIVED HERE SINCE MARCH 2010 WHEN I MOVED IN I DIDN'T HAVE A STOVE OR REFRIGERATE AND ALL MY MEAT WENT BAD..THEY DIDN'T COMPENSATE ME FOR MY FOOD SPOILING MY A/C WENT OUT AND IT TOOK 4 DAYS FOR THEM TO FIX IT MY A/C WAS OUT FOR 3 DAYS IN APRIL, 2 DAYS IN MAY, 4 DAYS IN JUNE 7 DAYS IN JULY ON TOP THAT MY GARGAGE DISPOSAL WAS BROKEN FOR 46 DAYS BEFORE THEY CAME TO FIX IT ..THEY TOWED MY NEW CAR WITH PAPER TAGS MIGHT I ADD STATING IT DIDN'T HAVE A PARKING DECAL KINDA OF HARD TO HAVE A DECAL IF I JUST PURCHASED THE CAR ON A FRIDAY EVENING AFTER THE OFFICE HAS CLOSED. I HAD TO PAY $216.00 TO GET MY CAR OUT OF IMPOUND..THE POOL WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OPEN 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND ITS STILL CLOSED ...MORE THAN HALF OF THE COMMUNITY IS STEALING LIGHTS AND CABLE..OH AND NOT ME LET ME FORGET THE FIRST WEEK I WAS HERE THE NEIGHBORS HAD A 3 HOUR STANDOFF WITH THE COPS AND IT TOOK THEM OVER TWO MONTHS TO HAVE THEM REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES WITH THERE 3 DOGS TERRORIZING THE ENTIRE COMPLEX...IF YOU ARE A PERSON THAT LIKES PEACE AND QUIET AND A NICE PLACE TO CALL YOUR OWN THEN DON'T MOVE HER I PROMISE U WILL REGRET IT”

“I worked in this apartments and they are horrible.......... I don't know how can poeple live there not even the roaches want to live in those nasty apartments. Management is a jokeeee they have zero professionals. I WOULDN't never applied if i knew i was going to live hell...”

“I lived at that hell hole. I counted the days until my lease was up. When i first moved there, the apartment was not ready. The living room had no ceiling fan.The master bathroom tub leaked.The kitchen cabinets fell off. That was just the begining. The ceiling fan issue took 3 months to get resolved. The leaking tub took 3 months just to get a maintenance man to come and it took anothet 6 months to get the bathroom remodeled.Last June the toilet broke in the guest bathroom and it would flood downstairs,never got fixed. I could not use my dryer because the breaker would smoke. When I moved out they had got a new manager but that ----- was no better,she was never in the office.I actually met the owner and i cursed him out so damn good. He is a cheap as Jewish ------------ that is damn near bankrupt.DO NOT MOVE THERE,YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“The apartment complex is horrible. There is a new manager there, but the previous amanger stole the rent money for some of the tenants. Then the maintenance there is horrible too. I stayed there for a year. My car got broken into, water leaks from the upstairs to downstairs, the tub is reinforced with plastic instead of an actual tub, and there are alot of roaches (VERY LARGE ones too)! Even though they got rid of the bad influences that were staying over there, it is still ------. People are shooting guns almost every night. There is no security and majority of the lights around the complex dont work so its very dangerous at night. There are always people out and about and majority of them do not stay over there. It is ridiculous and the whole apartment complex should be condimed to nothing. Its not worth the money or time so dont do it to yourself. I wouldn't recommend anyone move here. I would rather be homeless before moving back over there!”

“Suncrest was a great place to live because of the manager sharon she did everthing to keep this place safe for the residents. Now that she is not here the mail boxed is broken and the resdent is out late loude music some work order are not getting done and most of the reident is moving out. She had this place full now she is not here it geting empty.We need some good people.”

“I have lived at Suncrest Village for 6 years now and this is the best manager we have ever seen. The gates are repaired as soon as it's not workking, I have seen the manager repaired the gates her self where is the maintenance? She walk the property and speak to her resident. We need maintenance on the property.”

“I should've know better when I went in and got accepted to move-in the same day!!!!!And this was on a Saturday!!!! So, you know nothing was verified!! They bait you in with the great floorplans,fresh coat of paint,and freshly cleaned carpet. But once you move-in you see all the cover-ups!! The office staff suck and don't do nothing but lie!!! The answering service is rude and the maintenance don't have a clue!! I cannot wait until my lease is up!!!!! They never fix anything,but are quick to put a notice on your door for rent!!!! The door locks are ragly, the light fixtures are hanging on by a hair,air conditioners rarely cools and heaters rarely heat!!!! The breaker boxes are in terrible condition and i think the townhouse has other electrical issues as well. This is the worst rental experience I've had in my whole adult life! And I've leased more that 9 other apartments or townhomes in a 20 year span. Please run,hide, and never ever consider this loser --- property as I place to live!!!!!! And those other testimonies you see on this website that are good are all fake!!!!!! The management probaly typed them or had someone else type them for them.All you have to do is ride by and observe and you will see this is no where to live.Don't be fooled!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!”

“When I first moved in, I thought they were really nice bout they are just trying to fill they quota, I been there 3 months and never received any drip pans for my stove, they never gave me a mail box key, they tell you things are being ordered when truley they haven`t.”

“Okay, first let me say I was very happy when I came to these townhomes because of the leasing agent there. He was very, very helpful and told me to stop looking because I have found my home. my rental history was a little rocky and he really worked with me. I got my keys and then it started. I have been there for 3 weeks and already had the sheriff's knocking at more door for a wanted fugitive who used to live in my apartment (and you know they do not come over for no punk misdemeanors), my toilets leak on the floor, my hallway has a busted pipe underneath the floor which has caused a pool of water bigger than three large card board boxes, and was missing a lot of little things like, kitchen drawer, shower rods and light bulbs. I have called every day since i have been there to try to get this stuff fixed since I turned in my inventory list and was told they now, the do not know how long it will take, although, i was being told always on Monday's and by the end of the week since I have moved in. They had one freaking maint. tech. for a whole apt. complex. Oh and not to mention the staff changed 1 week after I moved in. Do not stop here..... keep going........ your problems really havent begun yet if you don't listen.”

“I am a current resident...So far it went from worst to horrible...The old owners were aware of what was going on and they tried to solve all problems as they came...but the new owners have turned a blind eye...They don't not care about the resident they just want their rent at any cost...The crew they hired are not licensed or certified...Examples...The neighbor here stay up all night partying and sleep all day...Not just that but the drug activity went from not seeing it to drug deals out in the open, let's not forget the recent deaths here over bad drug deal...Even the maintainace crew was in on it...from selling gun to promoting the pitbull fights here...Arew you wondering about security...Yes we have it HPD they are no where to be found...When they are here they are just passing through...Another example, the neighbor water heater blew up the fire department had to come out and make a report mind you this was a 3 attempt...Another neighbor's a/c unit was out of freon 8 days she was without a/c in the middle of June (Tx.Heat!!!) Here's my story I complain about my a/c was dripping water 4 months later the entire upstairs flood and ruin top and bottom unit and all the did was repaint and cleaned the carpet...Repairs No!!! covered the problems Yes...My time here is coming to an end...This was a life changing experience...If you don't believe me come through and see the activity yourself...First impression, you won't be able to come through the front gate because the people are blocking the front entry...I should have taken the warning when it was 1st told to me...”

“I would like to tell all of my friends how safe and at home I feel here. They are well maintained townhomes. i love my ceramic floors!! Brand new carpet. The pool looks wonderful.”

The knowledgeable and quit to respond new office staff make Suncrest a place to want to live. I was not going to renew my lease, but once I saw the sense of urgency in the new staff I decided to call Suncrest home.”
