“I've NEVER in my life lived some where that I had so many issues! When we first moved in, there was no hot water for weeks. We were literally having to take cold showers. We were then left with giant holes in the tub where they fixed the water but didn't patch up properly. There's literally been mold on the front door for ever which we complained about but it was never fixed or taken seriously kind of like how when I was SEXUALLY ASSAULTED on the property and it wasn't taken seriously!! I DONT EVEN FEEL SAFE! Not only that but now we've seen MICE in the UNIT!!! It's SICK and DISGUSTING and then when I went to the office about all the problems I was given attitude and told...all apartments have problems as she looked at me with a smug look on her face. I'm sorry but no not all apartments have this crazy bull ---- going on! I advise you to NOT move here unless you want to live with mice perverts that assault you and follow you with there ----- out in broad daylight oh yeah and mold!! Don't let the office lady fool you like she did me she seems nice when you arrive and after the lease is signed oh how things change I hate it here and will be moving out ASAP!!!”

“Horrible!!! I have lived here for a year...moving asap!!! Even considering breaking my lease..the management does nothing about any complaints..grounds are filthy on weekends bc ppl are nasty and the maintance is off on weekends..its unbearably loud!!! The ppl that live here are ------! !! Its partys f-s..ppl sit outside drinking and smoking weed..screaming and cussing..mold is in every window..roaches take over and I hate it!!! I have addressed my issues several times and nothing is done!!! Manager is stuck up and egotistical!! He doesnt care one bit about this property...do not move here..oh and water is billed on an average. .I pay a 50 $ water bill and have no washer..dishwasher nothing!!!”

“I was only at Winkler Villa for 3 months. I just broke my lease and turned in my keys today. I mainly left becuse I found out my roommate is a con artist. She was on probation for filing fraud insurance probably amongst other things. The rent is way too high for the poor apartments. Everything is poorly repaired (patched and halfass). Maintinance are slow, took them 2 weeks to fix my shower head and dishwasher, which from when I last used still messed up. Gnats constantly in the kitchen no mater how much bleach i clean it with. Sewage line broke and there was fecal matter flooding the walkway over the weekend no one was sent to fix it right away. A maintinance man was messing with the electric poles and knocked out a transformer or something of the like to where the entire aprtment property was without electricity for the whole day....mind you its summer. Management has their lil flunkys dealing drugs through out the apartment. Management become rude if they feel you know your rights or feel that you know too much. $675 plus $45 monthly water bill for a ------ 2 bedroom and BOUJEE --- Management...........no thanks! I advise any decent person to stay away....I would not reccomend anyone to pay to stay there....waste of money!”

“I moved in in January with a move in special and have had a pretty good stay. The office people have been nice and they worked with me to move in. They let me look at a couple of units. The floor plan is great. I have a 2 bedroom, and the layout feels like I am in a house because of the long hallway. Parking is OK. There is plenty of it and it is well lit. I've seen security walking around when I get home at around 2 on a weekend and randomly in the evenings. I haven't had bug problems. For what we are paying this is a great place. The maintenance people are really nice. I've looked around before and lived in a couple of different appartments.”

“My stay here at Winkler Villa has been ok for the most part. I do have a recurring problem with roaches,however. Seems the bug man has watered down chemicles, and the bugs seems to not be too bothered by his bug treatment. I do feel alot safer as a direct result of our new gates. I haven't seen the likes of the strangers who use to frequent our premises. all in all, life here is good and i and my family appreciate the scenery that our yardmen create for us and our visitors. Fair job Winkler Villa. Current Tenant”

“i love this place winkler villa is a wonderful community to call your home.. very laid back community... ive been here for 6years and i can say..we love it.. it close to gulfgate shopping center... and school.. pool on property and playground... you and your family would love to become a part of Winkler Villa Apartment.... come and join the 2012 winkler villa apartment community....Your GOING TO LOVE IT...”

“I have lived here for almost a year now. I happen to think Cindy is a great manager , anytime I call with a issue from a maintence issue to heck needing a copy of my lease for something. Cindy ( and her staff ) make sure its fix in a timely manner. This is a small complex we are even thinking of moving into one of their larger units since we will be having another baby. For the ones writting these reviews take a minute and go talk to them in the office. They will make sure your concerns are addressed.”

“The things I see that people say they are so mean I have been here for years and not none of these such things has happened and this isnt a senior community I think the have the wrong property caus ethe staff here is awesome the maintence is aways on time and Ms.Cindy and Katy is so helpful”

“I am a member of management here at Winkler Villa and would like to say please come by our community and let me take you on a tour. We all have our own opinion but I think that Winkler Villa is one of if not the nicest community in the area. Maintenance is professional and knowledgeable. I take pride in knowing my residents by name and unit number. I think it means a lot to anyone to be recognized by name when spending their money. Winkler Villa is a small community where there are residents that have been here for 20 years or more. Some families have raised their families here and now are watching their grand children grow up here. Winkler is a nice place to call home. Come by and see for yourself.”

“I Cindy am the manager at Winkler Villa and I am very upset to know that anyone had a bad experience living here at Winkler Villa. I take pride in our community and do my very best to accomodate all residents. Our entire staff is dedicated to Winkler Villa and its residents. I noticed that one review mentioned towing, I would like to point out that that was not our community. There is a similar community that is a senior community. I cant say that we are perfect but we try to be as speedy as possible with the service requests as possible And in all honesty 24 to 48 hours is not a bad turn around for a work order service request. We do try proritize the work orders to the severity of the requests. I would like to intend an invitation to anyone that is looking for a new place to call home to come by and take a tour and meet our professional, friendly staff.”

Once we have received a complaint, a letter is sent to address the issue but there is a certain process that we have to go through after receiving a complaint regarding another resident. We have a wonderful staff with more than 10 years of experience in serving residents needs. Maintenance is 24 to 48 hours prompt, knowledgeable, and the grounds are superb. We strive to make sure our residents are happy, but we also have a job to do and policies to follow. Since purchasing the property in these few years, we have had numerous residents compliment the staff on their professionalism and friendliness as well as how great the property looks. “I can't wait until our lease is up! You call about something needing fixed and Natalie or Cindy say oh ok but 2 days later is it fixed nope? Complain about roaches do they care nope? Complain about not having adaquate security do they care NOPE! Supposely you get a parking sticker when you move in and only if you have that sticker can you park in the spots near the apartments ( those stickers are a joke ) I just got home from work had to carry my children clear across a dark parking lot ( no lights working you say something ok thanks for telling us but it still doesnt get fixed till like 2 or 3 days later ) visitor parking is suppose to be along the outside near the fences. Well tonight at 1:30am i finally got tired of it and called and reported 4 cars without parking stickers parked where they arent suppose too. ( when you sign the lease they tell you where your visitors are suppose to park ) The towing company told me the manager called them today and said for them not to tow cars parked illegally anymore. Interesting so I suggest Natalie or Cindy come live in these apartments for 2 months and see how they like it. Well supposely Natalie lives on the property and has her own reserved spot how nice, would it kill her to walk like she makes the rest of us who actually pay our rent on time? So she can get paid? This place is overprice over filled with roaches and btw you can even see cars rocking from where men have picked up hookers and stop the parking lot to have sex with them. Yeah what a place to live.. So glad my children are young enough they will have no memory of this place cause we are out of here as soon as the lease is up!!PS WHOEVER OWNS THIS PLACE NEEDS TO REPLACE BOTH NATALIE AND CINDY BUT I DOUBT THE OWNERS EVEN READ THIS..”

“We ask ourselves everyday why we moved in here, Natalie was so pleasant and nice when we were signing our lease and told us wonderful things about the apartments.. Well all those wonderful things were a lie!! Not only is there no courtesy security there's basically no management. Even though I will say Cindy is a good manager but Natalie needs to go! There's people walking around the apartments all hours of the night that dont live here. People smoking weed on the porches and playing music loud all hours even when they are in the office. Roaches everywhere, and theres no way they can say we brought them with us because we bought all of furniture and stuff brand new, you ask to have someone come spray and its pretty bad when the terminix man tells you that your apartment is one of the cleanest one's he has seen in this complex and that he's only allowed to use this little needle looking thing and put it in the kitchen and bathroom. If you have small children they can't even use the playground equipment because theres always about 20 teenagers on the slides and swings ( and this equipement is built for small children not teenagers hello it looks like fisher price stuff ). And one swing is broke from them. Our vehicle has been broken into twice but nothing was stolen not only ours but about 10 other ones. Back in early June they said they were going to put up an access gate what a JOKE its now OCTOBER AND STILL NO GATES. As for the swimming pool good luck because once again Natalie didnt want to get off her --- and get it fixed, and the one month it was in use you had to once again deal with mouthy disrespectful teenagers and like 7 year old children swimming without a parent present which is funny since its right outside the office. But they cant see this?? And if one person screws up they threaten to shut it down for everyone??? We can't wait for our lease to be up! We would break it but we want to buy a house and dont want our credit ruined. As for parking and their rules good luck you can drive through and see about 10 cars with no inspection stickers expired registration stickers an no parking passes parked where they arent supposed to be.. BUT OF COURSE IF MANAGEMENT EVER WALKED AROUND THE GROUNDS THEY WOULD REALIZE SOME CARS HAVE BEEN IN THE SAME SPOT FOR MONTHS !! AND THE OUTSIDE LIGHTING NEVER WORKS AND THEIRS PEOPLE DIGGING IN THE DUMPSTERS ALL THE TIME!! SAFE MY BUTT!!”

“There is not adequate parking and visitors will be towed at $$215.00 a pop!!! Minimum. My daughter came over to stay with me because I was sick ( this is a seniors community). Her car was towed even after I left a note with my apt. number and my phone number for them to call if there was a problem. The complex did not give me the courtesy of calling to warn us, they just took the car. This happened on the 16th of June 2011. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX, AND I WILL BE VACATING AFTER MY 2 MONTHS NOTICE. KATHY”

“The apartment were fairly okay until the management changed. When I lived there, the Maintenance Man lived on property but it always took 2 to 4 days (if not longer) to fix issues & the always "half Fix" everything!! Continuously stolen cars my car was broken into over 3 times and vandalized on property. And oh when it rain it Floods Bad!! I lived infront of the park so there was always teenagers and drug dealers outside until all times of night. The Manager "Tracy" was very racist, I had to file a racial discrimination complaint against management, after they replaced manager I was allow to get out of my lease but that was not after 2 horrible years. DONT LIVE THERE, I barely got out with my life”

“This appartment complex has several problems. First of all they are located in a high crime area and they don't have gates. They also offer (Chapter 8 housing)this means goverment loaders live here.There are a few teenagers and adults in the complex who I have seing smoking marijuana. Another problem is the loud music people in the parking lot ride around with or park and listen to it ..very LOUD..The mangement sucks, natalie's fat-so the assistand manager has move into the complex and has her own assign parking lot, while the rest of us have to go looking for one every time we park. The place is also full with Roaches, all residents have complain about this. Please don't move here if you are a honest living person.”

“I am a college student sharing an apartment at this complex, and my roommates and I love it. I have lived in BAD apartments before, and this is not one of them. I will admit that there is a burglary problem, but I have called the police concerning the matter, and they seem to be patrolling the apartments fairly regularly now. <br>As far as pests go, we don't have any. Winkler Villa provides free exterminator services twice a month if you need them. <br>The management has changed since we started living here, but the service is always very fast.”

“i lived there and i am a hurricane katrina evacuee!! they stole my husband truck broke in my car twice! in the last 5 months i hate it! im a clean person and it was roaches for days inside! and Maria the office manager told me i need to call and exterminate the aparment at least 10 times! she said she knew it was a problem! the worst place i ever lived!!!”

“This place is dangerous!! When I lived there, the Maintenance Man was jacked up at knife point by one of the residents. Continueously stolen cars and trucks were found on property. Maintenance "half Fix" everything!! And oh when it rain it Floods Bad!! They did have a Manager that tried to change things, but when someone starts to kick up smoke "Tracy" get rid of them. DONT LIVE THERE, I barely got out with my life”
