“this the worst of the worst. you don t even need to live there to see it,,, the management is horrible.. i was looking for apartment with my lil family... i was just passing by i stop to check.. since we pull in the parking lot my wife said she don feel safe here but we checked anyway.. they show us a townhome for like 600 and some... they don check nothing and i was wondering why it s cheap and available righ away and don check even your income,, we applied anyway coz we needed a place asap... and paid the application fee, the admission fee everything... they said the application process gona take 3 days... and we done our lil research about the place so we decided to not take the place nomore so 2days later we went to the office to cancel it.. we just wanted our deposit back and they can keep the application fee,,,, i bet the lady i guess her name is isabel or something didn t finish high school... she is like we cannot get the deposit back becauuse the application is already aprooved.. im like very good that only mean WE ARE ELIGIBLE TO LEAVE IN YOUR APARTMENTS but everytime im tryna explain something she cut me off and my wife got pissed off and we were tryna make our point and the lady got the nerv to call the police to make matter worse she told the cops we have maybe a weapon in the car.... she is so racist,,, and a lady came to us to tell us to calme down that to come back later we gona get our money back and she cut her off DON T TELL EM they can get their money back it s too late. i told my wife to go and come back when the manager get back because i just realize this lady haven t been to school so let s not waiste our time with an analphabet,,, as long as we didn t sign the contract we can get our deposit back the aplication is just to proove the community accept you so u got the choice to either sign the contract to move in or change your mind for later,,, if your application is not aproove u get your deposit back all over the us so don t tell me i cannot get my money back.. HOW DARE YOU CALL THE COP AT A (SUPOSLY) FUTURE RESIDENT AND FORCING US TO STAY IN THIS APARTMENTS WE DON T LIKE. avoid this apartment”

— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“We [FAMILY OF 6] have been living in this apartment for nearly a year now... we have been complaining every month since we got here.... doors falling, walls breaking apart b/ of water damage, mold, water that leaks to the master bedroom, living room and front closet smells horrible [under A/C unit] , cant use dishwasher, no hot water, cant be our master bedroom because of water damage lost most of our belonging. Nevertheless as the manager has told us most of the apt are the same so we cant move to another unit. What we was told is to give them time! only thing that has been fixed is walls but still leaks smh...we sleep in our kids room or my mom house [HER COUCHES] when the smells gets to bad... we lost our bed, living-room we are trying to move out but cant because of lack of time given to manager [o.O] we have contacted news, health inspectors, the city still nothing... just wait it out! WOULD YOU??? this is hazardous to anyone... i have little kids and im pregnant... THIS IS HOW HELL LOOKS LIKE!!!”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“These are the worst apartments i have ever lived in. I lived there for almost two years they never fixed anything i had no refrigerator for like 4 months and i have kids. The office people are the rudest and they dont care all they care about is when the rent is coming. These apts should be shut down. People are constantly getting robbed.”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“Westwood Ridge has really gone down in the pass year. The new people in the office are out for the money. They can care less whats broke in your unit or the bug infestation, or mold problems. Well, If your living on the property rent free I guess I would be that way too. The noise is ridiculous, alot of undocumented tenants living and workling on the property. If you have a concern about anything you instantly get an attitude. Its really sad people who have lived here have now moved....don't move here its not worth your money or safety!”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“This is place is straight from the movies. B-level ones. Dirty, filthy, falling apart. The only thing worse than filth are ladies working in the office. Rude, not helpfull, and ready to give you run-around. If you speak with them in English, they will pretend not to understand and will start speaking Spanish. If you understand Spanish they will go back and forth to try to confuse you. Apartments are dirty and unsafe. I saw used tampon next to the pool. There are wild dogs living on property, and immigration raids are all too common. My next-door neighbour delivered kid at home!!! Then another 4 neighbours good arrested and deported later. If you are immigrant don't stay here. If you have brain don't stay here. There is a lot of drugs being passed around the property and local dealer is a 16-year old Mexican with tattooes all over his body. If you see him, you will recognize him instantly. He hangs out at the pool and local grocery store. You can see him in the leasing office as well (he was dating one of the smaller ladies in there). After he assaulted me and my mother, I decided to vacate the property. I was month-to-month so I can leave easy. all in all, jail was better for me.”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“Let me start off by saying that the apartments are great the only problem is if you got kids and stuff like that the schools in ALIEF suck... I mean they are ------ .... But the apartments have done some great remodeling.I reccomend them ... since ive got kids im moving out of here to another district.”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“They have bed bugs do not move into these apartments they will lie and say they don't have them but they do I seen them!”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“I have lived here for 3 years and our apartment has been broken into twice, they took everything, and it happened in the morning. We think is people from the same apartments that know when you leave for work. They don't do a propper background and criminal check. The people at the office are terribly rude. The apartments are infested with roaches. The apartments are a nice size, if only they cared about who they rent to and had more security. There are gangster looking men loitering all the time, the management should take better care of their tenants.”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“well am -------- me & my family been in this apartments for 7yrs the management still threat us like crap they rude and dont realy listen when you need them to come fix sothing the freaking manager think she can tell prople how loud to speak dumm old lady i hate then all this apts stink dnt move.here ppl yall will regret trust me!”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“I was a tenant at Westwood Ridge for ten years. I enjoyed living there but since last year its been too many breaking ins. Almost all my neightbors have their apt. robbed. Maintenance is terrible I had a leak on my tub they went three times to fix it but til the day I moved out it never got fixed. Too many kids playing in the parking lot also.”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“well lets just say if you mot -------- they will treat you like ----. bad roach problem i always had leak in my apartment. the ladies that work in the office have bad customers service skills really.”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“my carpettt stinkss...ive been living here for 8yrs & they've only changed our carpet onceee.! ugh.! other than that i LOVE it here hahah SIKEE.! By the way i HATE all the freaking kindergarden kids outside the parking looks like i have a soccer team in my parking lot.! plus they NEVER open the damn pool like wth.! its hot.! hmmmmm bye.!”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“Let's start off by saying that terrible is an upgrade in this case. Management are ridiculously RACIST!THe damn owner is pretending to be a manager. They're doing upgrades and remodeling to the property without City approval, licenses or Permits. I know this because I had the City out on their behinds a few times! The staff has no knowledge of HAA rules or have any real experience in management whatsoever! The property is always filthy and unkept! If you value your safety and freedom, please run for your life. Because one of those Illegal immigrants in that office will have a person locked up!!”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“i lived here. omg.. management is horrible racist! you know you are. trust me if your not foriegn they dont want to rent to you. they allow 3 people to a one bedroom. trust me some one call immigraztion.they dont fix anything. my apartment was a roach den and whenit rained it did in my apartment. so if you running or hiding for the rent there.... they will tow you away for 200 dollars the office gets a cut. the tow truck man like to watch you and take your car..”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“i've lived here 2 yrs am living here right now as i type the management is ok they not really friendly but maybe its because i'm not -------- such as all the management and majority of my neighbors but my neighbors are nice i haven't had any problems as far as that but they are very slow to fix things and if u hate roaches stay away but for the most part if maybe your credit history isn't so great you could start rebuilding it here i wouldn't recommend this place but with n e thing it could always be worse”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“it is the best apartments you could ever sleep at so go buy a unit they are the best ive been here for a long time”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“I have lived here for 10 years. I have to say no one is perfect. My experience here has been great. The maintenance staff is very knowledgable and are prompt when service is requested. The management staff is friendly and are always there to meet your needs. In overall I have to say this is a good community. I would recommed to my friends as I have in the past. The property has access gates and you can only come in with gate cards. Your guest will have to dial from the gate and the resident has to allow them to come in. I feel safe here and I do recommend them.”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“I have lived here almost 6 years. I have a neighbor upstairs that has lived here almost 20 years. I have not had any problems. I talk to the staff regularly as friendly conversation. The staff and manager are very friendly. You give respect you get respect. My only complant it that they are often out of air filters. About 2 years ago my truck did get broken into (nothing "broken" just opened my door) and stole some change and the access card. Obviously kids/teens. And the pools are only othen June-Aug. GRR<br><br>”
— 8323 CINNAMON LN · Houston“I would not recommend these apartments to Bin Laden himself. They are unfit. We are trapped like rats in a room full of rat traps. Mangement sucks. Maintainence is slow, extermination of insects goes unheeded. I have deemed this place little Mexico, it has roaches running the place, they lock the back gate on Spice Lane so the children can't get in after school. Cinnamon Lane is one of the most DANGEROUS streets in Houston, Texas. Every other night there is a gun fight. Every day someone gets arrested for selling or trying to buy drugs. There are thugs every where and little hoochie girls on every corner. And a school is right down the street 3 mins. away walking.<br>Because this apartment complex is surrounded by several other complexes it does have its advantages: HEB, Wal-Mart, Hollywood Videos, Car Wash, Liquor Store, McDonald's, Pizza Hut etc.<br>The Houston Police Department, Health Department, Fire Department should all know about this apartment complex. We live here and there is only one way out of the complex after the back gate is locked. Yes you need no code to get in or out but the gates are always broken so it does make it easier for car theives and "snatcher men/women" to get out easily. The childrens' playground is located in the front of the complex that lets out onto a very busy street and a DANGEROUS street that has been showcased on the news. Every morning someone crashes at our major intersection sometimes 3 times or more a day.<br>The area is not suited for young adults because drugs are evident everywhere. The kids smoke weed in broad daylight before boarding the school bus. Middle school girls with tattoos, and boyfriends going to jail. I think I live in the ------. Time to move. Don't move here if you think the rent sounds good then it is too good to be true. I have warned you and you now have a choice to make. Honestly they should bulldoze these apartments and try again.<br>I hate it here, can't wait for the lease to end!!!! I have six more months of hell to deal with. Once again it is the management that sucks, the people are living 2-3 or more families in one apartment be it a one or two or three bedroom apartment, it is like living in a slum with all the different families that move in only to move out and some other family moves in without the apartment being cleaned or re-leased with the knowledge of management. People are living in some of these apartments illegally, because of a family memeber who moved out and didn't tell the office. So when it comes time for the lease to be renewed these people then come out of the woodwork to re-sign the lease. It is terrible that if we were to do as the -------- are doing we would be thrown out without any of our property. But when they are found out they are told to come to the office to sign a new lease. <br>So would I reccommend these apartments HELL NO!!!!<br>”
“Westwood Ridge was a great starter apartment for me. The staff was nice, my townhouse was clean and VERY affordable. I felt safe in the area because I lived where there were mostly singles and couples. Being that it was a one bedroom townhome. One featured I loved is that you needed a gate card(no code would work) to get in and out of these apartments. That cut down on alot of robberies in my opinion. No easy way to escape. I give this aparment a thumbs up.”
