“These apartments have really gone downhill. They are now called Metro Greenway apartments (not sure why this was never updated). It's a shame because this used to be a WONDERFUL community. However, now there's just a bunch of snot-nosed kids and 2 clueless managers who work in the office, which drags down the quality of everything. It's obvious that the managers only want to take your money and pretend to be your friend while they rob you blind. News long as I pay rent to live here, WE ARE NOT FRIENDS!!! Apparently, remodeling the pool and keeping that up to date is more important than maintaining the rest of the building. Want clean hallways? You better keep your nose plugged while you walk down them to block out the smells of dog pee and crap. Want functional elevators? You'd be better off taking the stairs or even climbing up the sides of the building. The elevators here look like they belong in the projects, not a luxury community. They don't maintain the elevators at all! Want to feel safe walking the community? Well, you won't because too many people let their dogs run all over the place with no leash and not just small dogs either! Oh and management will send out the occasional passive-aggressive email about it, but they never enforce anything and the residents know it, so they continue to let the dogs take over the place. Maybe the complex should be called, Metro Dogway apartments. Additionally, the building security is so bad that anyone can tailgate you into the complex. There's no other security between the garage and other floors so people can easily get in and get to any floor they'd like. Nice right? Wrong! They refuse to invest in better building security for some reason, which is stupid because that effects the overall value and appeal of THEIR property. One of the things I personally hate the most is the lack of accountability and delusional/dismissive attitudes of the staff. They won't believe anything that's not in their computer systems. You can see something with your own eyes, try to explain it to them, and all they do is deny, deny, deny. It's so incredibly annoying! Also, the managers don't hold the staff accountable for anything. If you get bad service from the leasing staff, management will just make excuses for them rather than holding the person accountable. The one good thing I can say about the complex though is that maintenance does a good job on the apartments and keeping them nice for the most part. That's this complex's one saving grace. However, with the type of residents they allow to live here now, that won't even last much longer. Some of these units are showing their age and it's only a matter of time before the age and the neglect will lead to this community's demise. Also, many of these units are leased as 'dorm' rooms with RA's and everything to a nearby college campus. Whoaaaa! I had no idea I was living in a glorified college dorm. How awesome is it that I'm paying market rent while a bunch of broke college kids get to enjoy the same amenities as me? Wow, that explains the partying at the pool until 3 in the morning and the loud and rowdy behavior at night and on weekends. Yeah, that makes sense. Anyways, people are moving out of here in leaps and bounds and they are struggling hard to keep good tenants. I just don't get it though. If they really want good tenants then they shouldn't be leasing to college kids point blank and the period. Anyways, I put up with it because I basically can't afford a nicer community at Houston's current rent margins, so I'm stuck here personally, but as soon as I can, I'm following everyone else right out of their unsecured gates.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“Regarding leolx's comment, it's strange, because I haven't experienced any of the things they have experienced. I have been living in this apartment complex for 8 months, and I have (knock on wood), have never seen one roach in my apartment. Also, during my 8 months here, only once did the fire alarm go off, and it was at around 6 PM. I am a young, single female and I have never felt unsafe in this apartment complex. Throughout my time here, we have been notified of one car being stolen (which I think is pretty typical for Houston), but nothing else. I haven't had experience with a security deposit/refunds yet, but I can tell you that so far the staff (and maintenance!) have been great and very responsive. Perhaps a lot has changed since August 2015.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“Maybe most of people think Metro Greenway seems likes a very luxury place to live, however, the truth is that it is one of the worst apartment around Houston area for several reasons. First of all, there are a bunch of really big cockroach in the unit, almost every two weeks during the summer season. Secondly, the fire alarm system really sucks, it often activated for no reasons during the midnight(1am-4am), and last for more than an hour. Third, the security at this place isn't very safe. I've been lived here for over 2 yrs, and I heard more than 3 times about someone's car had been broke the window. Lastly and the most important one, the management team at Metro Greenway is messy. When I moved in this place, I paid $1210 security deposit to the office. However, when I moved out from there, the office staff told me that I never pay any deposit at all, even though I have the copy of the payment info. Until they still refuse to refund the $1210 to me. As a result, I'm gonna to take my legal action to suit the management team for this issue, and I believe I will win this case in the near future. Finally, let me give you some advice for you as a person who lived this place before. If you have a better choice to choose, pls do not leave in this apartment due to the above reasons, otherwise you would regret with your decision.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“Positive experience for the most part. However, the elevator situation has become infuriating. The freight elevator is left on "moving mode" after the tenants have finished moving far too often leaving you with stairs when you get home from work. This means the elevator does not operate normally and stays on the same floor. That side of the building (Weslayan side) experiences many days without their elevator. Then, over the holidays, it was broken for 5-6 days straight. A couple was trying to move in and the office was unresponsive. I imagine they were either compensated or broke their lease. I have complained to the office and will update the review based on their responsiveness.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“My husband and I moved in to our apartment here in September and I love living here; there are so many great things about it: location, amenities, front office staff has been really nice so far, & quick maintenance. BUT, I am often so frustrated, the potential of the complex will NEVER be met, and all the little things that continue to happen, make us really not want to be here anymore. To start, the apartments were built extremely poorly; I know where my up stairs neighbors are at all times of the day, at first I thought they were just really loud and walked really hard, until I was soaking in my beautifully large garden tub, and I could hear a car alarm going off and it was so apparent, I felt like I was in the parking garage (my apartment is on the 2nd floor, 1st floor is the parking garage), I was peeing yesterday and I could hear someone's horn honk when they locked their car. And not only can I hear where my upstairs neighbors are, I can tell you what they are talking about, and probably what it is that they are doing. After all of this, I just realized, the floors and walls were cheaply built, they are thin and you can hear anything and everything through them. *Forget the newlywed stage with my husband! Parking; FORGET visitor parking, the builders didn't believe that was necessary (back to my built extremely poorly theory). Because the parking garage is the basement and the 1st floor, and there are 4 levels of apartments on top of that, they had to use thick concrete pillars every 3 parking spaces to support all of the weight; because of these pillars, the spots are sometimes hard to get into, and every once and a while, someone with really good parking skills comes along and then it is REALLY hard to try and fit. The residents are all 20s and 30s, so I am not sure if they just don't really care about the rules, or they know that the office doesn't enforce the "resident parking only" for the parking garage, so they let their visitors park in the garage. I have never had to go to the basement for parking, and it is more of a frustration of having to search and hunt for a spot when there are far too many people parked in there with out parking tags. We pay almost 2 grand a month in rent, I am not asking for a floating carpet to bring me to my front door after I park my car, I just don't think any one should have to search around the garage for a parking spot when the garage is for residents only.... And when I called the office today to ask why they say people will be towed, but no one is, I was told that the tow truck does a sweet of the garage and when they see someone that shouldn't be parked there, they tow it... I have never see a tow truck in that garage, and if that is the case, why hasn't the tow truck towed the Honda Odyssey that has been parking out side of the gate in the garage entrance, literally in front of the "You will be towed" sign? They have a dog area, but the size is smaller than my living room and it isn't gated. Back to the age of most residence, I guess this makes them immature or something, because this area STINKS. There are a few people that have ruined it for everyone else because they don't want to bend over and pick up their dogs ----, which is ridiculous, because the office even provides waste bags and a little dispenser to attach to your leash. We were told that we didn't have to buy them any more, when we are running out, just come tell them and get more... I don't know if it is the age (which is sad because I am in that realm, yet have enough common since and respect to clean up after my dog and myself), or what it is, but the complex has not really made any strides to clean it up, or find ways to fix it. The rent is pretty high, and yes, the amenities are nice, but for almost $2000, there really shouldn't be any major problems like this. I thought I was weeding out the "rift raft" by shopping in a higher price range, but I guess I was incorrect. We decided the same month we moved in that we were not going to renew our lease. Now we are just frustrated that we have to continue paying this much and still dealing with the crap... Lesson learned!”
“Well where can I start...... The staff specially the manager --------------- is a moron!! He has absolutely no backbone or any common sense for that matter. He has no idea what the lease says or what anything says. He is always either on his cell phone or office phone trying to look busy since their is no one in the front office...ever!!!! The assistant barely knows how to add, I'm surprised being that they are considered an upscale property they have people like her working there. The leasing agents are just terrible.... I'm assuming it's like an episode of greys anatomy.... I can't tell you how many times I saw ----, the mananger, come out of ------'s apartment. I lived on the 5th floor so it wasn't hard to miss. I'm assuming she got fired because it got too complicated...lol The other leasing agent, ----, (I think) is completely clueless about life. And I'm assuming employees can date residents because he just can't get enought from one resident that lives there. I don't mean to call anyone out but if I run into them both in the sauna one more time...... Well that's just about the staff which makes or deteriorates a place.... They completely destroyed the place. If they changed them for people to that had business knowledge than maybe we wouldn't have problems with double booking the moving elevator, not knowing if people paid rent, double booking the parking, loosing packages and list can go on and on.....”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“I signed a lease online this summer, and it was a great deal. In fact, the deal was to good to be true. They had a website error and unfortunately could not honor the price for the lease I had signed. Obviously I was not thrilled about this, but accepted it after realizing they were not going to budge.*** THE REAL PROBLEM** is they did not return my deposit. It was their websites error and after many calls and visits I finally gave up. They always apologize and say they'll mail it right out. After 5+ times I realized either they were just genuinely inept or they were just lying to me. Either way I am lose. Earlier I said unfortunately they could not honor the price, but I am guessing it probably worked our for the better.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“I've lived in these apartments for almost a year and will be transferring into a bigger apartment at the end of my lease. Maintenance people are great, always pretty quick and efficient. Although sometimes I have to bother the office to make my issues "urgent". Property manager is clueless and will never get back to you if you go directly to him regarding any issue. However the assistant manager is pretty efficient and can usually better assist me. It's a revolving door of leasing agents. I think at least 5 have come and gone in the last year, but the current ones are very helpful. The apartments themselves are nice- pretty comparable to surrounding aprts. The lower floors have carpeted halls, and the carpet does look very dingey. My floor is all stained concrete so I've never really cared. If you have pets this really isn't the best complex for you- many people have dogs and the space to walk them around the complex is very limited. Parking for visitors is awful, there's rarely ever an empty space. Resident parking isn't too bad, spaces are small and most people take up two spaces but I can always find a spot for my big SUV. main benefit is the location you are very close to everrrrything. But if you like to open your windows every once in awhile don't get an aprt facing 59. Most residents are in early 20's to mid 30's so during the summer there's always tons of people at the pool drinking or being loud. I've never really had any issues and plan on staying another year”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“Don't be fooled by the external facade, on the surface this place looks like a very attractive prospect when viewing properties in the area however once you scratch the surface the true nature of this place is revealed. The management does not take any substantive action, maintenance is incompetent and front office staff is lazy. Hallways have trash in them and have a foul smell, having the hallways carpeted only makes the situation worse. Trash rooms are often overflowing and only response from management is sending out a notice that they are reviewing the situation. Mind you there is an additional fee for Valet trash, if I'm going to be charged for additional services I expect to receive a high level of service. Visitor parking is a joke, don't expect your guests to find a spot to park. Gates to the parking garage are always not functioning and typical response from office is that they are working on it. Elevators stop working from time to time. Maintenance requests are not followed up promptly and even after repetitive follow ups it can be weeks before issues are addressed, read through some of the other posts and you will notice that these are not isolated instances but common occurrences. In short, if you are OK with these issues and don't mind paying the high premium go for it, else stay clear and don't be duped. Waiting for my lease to end so that I can move.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“Resident for 1 month at this point. Will update if things change one way or another. Negatives first: -Parking. We have no trouble parking our vehicles, BUT it is impossible for visitors to find parking, because residents park in the "VISITOR ONLY" parking spots, and apparently management does not enforce these parking rules? Every day, visitor parking is filled with residents parking their vehicles there. This needs to be fixed asap. -Maintenance. The water dispenser on our refrigerator was broken when we moved in (doesn't dispense water). I promptly submitted a maintenance request, and it still hasn't been fixed (nor have I received any updates) -Elevator seems to be broken every other week. Going up 5 flights of stairs when you have a bunch of groceries, is a bit of a hassle. -Some rude residents. One girl tried to block people from using the back elevator because she was moving in and was paying the moving company hourly; she didn't want anyone else using the elevator at all. lol Positives: -Apartments themselves are nice. Top floor apartments have tall vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, etc. Since the apartments are relatively new, appliances are in relatively good shape. Our 2 bedroom has a huge balcony which is really nice. -Location: Right on 59 so you have easy access to go anywhere really. It's also within walking distance to Edwards movie theater, Buffalo Wild Wings, and several restaurants. Location is my favorite thing about this complex. I am hoping management steps up their game in regards to parking and maintenance, at which point I will update this review.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“I'm at the end of my lease and I'm counting down the end of it. I've been here for 2 years. The first year was great. I didn't have any major issues. Maintenance was like a finely tuned machine, the custodians kept the building clean, and the front desk was awesome. During the second year, the property was bought by The Simpson Group and the property has gone downhill since then. My a/c stopped working at the beginning of May 2013, it wasn't fixed until July. It took me hounding the property manager daily in order to get status updates. In my hallway alone, there's lights out that have been out for weeks! There's always trash in the hallways even though there's a cleaning crew there daily. I have seen the same Qtip in the middle of the hall for a week. Parking is a joke...don't expect to have parking for your guests. No one respects the rules of the property because management doesn't enforce them. They will send out rules and reminders, but don't expect anything to be done. There's more and more college students moving in which has led to loud and rude behavior late at night. Maintenance requests take an act of Congress to get anything done. And if you have ANY kind of problem after 6:00pm, just know that it will not be addressed until the next day because everyone leaves the property at 5:59pm....from maintenance to the property manager. And that's if you get lucky! The front office help is only there to collect a pay check, so expect to get put on the back burner until they find it necessary to actually do something. If it requires them actually doing something more than getting your UPS or FEDEX package, it probably won't get done. The elevators are always broken and very slow. And security...is non existent. This place a conveniently located and gives you great access to 59. But that's the only good thing about this property. For what I'm paying($1500), I expected a lot more. I will never stay at another Simpson Group property. If you read this and still decide to rent here...you have been warned.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“I have lived here since last year and I must say I am very disappointed. I choose these apartments mainly for price, they were the cheaper of among the three I was looking at, still more than $1600 a month. I have not had to deal with maintenance since I take care of most of my apartment's constant issues, which do occur due to the overall lack of quality of the construction. Additionally, the walls and ceiling seem to be very thin as I can hear all kinds of noises from all sides of the apartment. The carpets on the hallways are always dirty and stained, slow elevators, dirty swimming pool, a slum in other words. Not to mention trash left in the hallways by residents. It is normal for hallways to smell bad. The worst part about living here is having to deal with the type of neighbors that you will encounter. Mainly childish young people without respect for kids, families, or anything civic for that matter. I will not go into details on this one so I don't offend anyone. Do yourself a favor an skip this place. If I took the time to write this review is because I am trying to help others not to error like I did.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“This is the poorest most mis-managed residence in which I've ever lived. My lease increase this year was a mere $369/month. They do nothing about noise complaints, but actually the person making the complaint is treated like the nuisance...mostly because they don't want to deal with you. The false advertising gym TVs have not worked since 2009 when I moved in. Tanning bed bulbs have likely never been replaced and are very weak. Thei accounting sucks. Every month I call to find out exactly how much my rent is because every month I get a notice that I have a balance due. Mind you, I pay exactly what I'm supposed to pay based on my lease, trash/water (which doubled a couple of monthis ago) and hall trash. Oh...they have proprietary light fixtures and you cannot change the bulbs, but they charge you $2.00 to replace one. Same goes for the a/c filter. This place is a massive disappointing ripoff. I can't wait to move and actually get a good night's sleep. I've never lived in a worse place. Oh...also, they don't enforce their inadequate parking. We are supposed to have stickers, yet people going to the theater sneak in all the time and walk over. The access box never works either, so you have to walk down to let your guests in every time.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“Not a horrible place to live but just know when you are taking the tour that most of the amenities are just for show. The televisions on the work out equipment stopped working about 4 months ago, each time it was mentioned to management he stated it was the "first time he heard about it". What about seeing it each time you give a tour? The grill out by the pool has very low heat, could only be used for hot dogs, if that. The hot tub is luke warm, o.k for summer months but not winter. Bulbs on the tanning beds are old and useless. They will not notify you when you receive a package, I had to call the companies I ordered from each time only to find out my items had been delivered, twice the girls in the office still said they had nothing until I called UPS and got the name of the person who signed for it, then poof my package would appear. These are all issues I emailed to management about half way through my lease (so I would have proof against the "first time we are hearing about it" claim) but even when I moved out 6 months later the problems were still there. A lot of Fluff!”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“walls are paper thin! I can hear every step and toilet flush from my upstairs neighbors and conversations from my downstairs neighbors. if they talk loud enough, you can hear every detail...this happens at all hours of the day too. and just recently, i guess my neighbors (two apartments away) just had a baby because I can hear the crying all throughout the night. being a grad student, I find myself not being able to study at home. instead, i would have to travel to the school library, teahouse, or Starbucks, which is quieter (thats sad) the location is ideal. we are center of everything. my lease is coming up this summer and i will not be renewing.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“I have to admit that in general, I enjoyed living here and probably would have renewed my lease had my rent not been drastically increased. When my lease was up, the Millennium wanted to increase my rent by $300 per month! That is absolutely ridiculous - especially for the location of the complex and of my apartment (I had a lovely view of 59 and could hear traffic noise at night). I could deal with the less than amazing view and the noise, but I can't deal with that price. I was able to find an equally sized apartment in Midtown for less than that, and it is MUCH nicer on the inside than the Millennium! Other issues: - Visitor parking is terrible - there aren't very many spots and there is no street parking anywhere nearby! If the parking lot is full, you have to have your guests drive around the block to the resident entrance and hope their car won't get towed while they are visiting you. - I lived here for over a year and almost the entire time, the TV attached to one of the treadmills was broken - the sound never worked! I don't understand how this could not have been attended to even once in 12 months. - When I asked for my phone number to be added to the system so I could buzz visitors in, it took over a month for my request to be completed (I had to go down to the office many times and talked to multiple people before this was ever acted on). After I'd moved out and followed up to check when I'd be receiving my deposit back, I was told that it would not be returned because I was being charged for having my carpet shampooed. Let me assure you, I spent many hours scouring every inch of that apartment when I moved out, including the carpet! What I was told is that every resident is charged that fee, unless they have the carpet cleaned on their own. This is the first apartment I have ever lived in that has not returned my deposit, and it sounds like no one ever has a hope of getting it back, no matter how much cleaning they do! I wish I'd known this before I moved, so that I didn't waste hours of my time cleaning. In summary, the Millennium Greenway is a nice place to live, but they will screw you over when it comes time to renew your lease and/or move out.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“I have to admit, I was a very happy resident until a new tenant moved in above me and began making unreasonable noises at all hours of the day and night. This started in June and is still going on and I agree with what everyone has said about the management. There has been a high turnover and in certain situations, they are non responsive. Case in point, I kept a detailed log of the dates and times of the noise occurrences in order to demonstrate that this was not normal apartment noise. My issues are not with noise coming through the walls but with noise coming through the floor of the upper unit which is directly above my bedroom. I have no problem with TV, or music or anything like that. I understand that in communal living some noise is to be expected. But loud stomping noises, grating, furniture scraping accross the floor, screaming, heavy thuds, and heavy footsteps between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am is beyond reasonable AND unlawful. Just look up the City of Houston Noise Ordinance. My sleep is disturbed at least 2-3 times a week. I have tried everything, ear plus, noise cancelling headphones, talking to the tenant (they deny it), calling security numerous times and even contacting the Property Owner for a satisfactory resolution. I might add that every time security has come out, the noise seems to get WORSE. So I ask myself this question, are my neighbors trying to "get even" with me for exercising my rights as a tenant. Who wants to live with people with that kind of mindset. And here is another question, does the fact that it's a two bedroom corporate account give them an exemption from being held accountable. In this case, it seems to be that way. I am nearing the end of my lease, and given the circumstances, I have asked to be released without penalty or moved to a 5th floor unit and I even offered to go into mediation with the tenant to try and work this out. I am not a college kid, I am a working busines professional and I work in the service industry. In my opinion, it is clear by their handling of this situation that neither the onsite management or the owner of this property care about customer service or building relationships. The best they could come up with was to move me to the 5th floor but charge me $400 more than I pay now and force me to commit to another 6 months of their special brand of customer service. Give me a break. I work in the building and construction industry and I know the market. There are several newer properties in the neighborhood with comparable (if not better) amenities with upper floor units for less. At this juncture, I would hope that these people figure out that it's in everyone's best interest (including the other tenant) to let me be on my way. On a postive note, I generally safe in this community and had no issues with the previous tenant that lived above me and planned to renew my lease until I started having problems. My advice to anyone interested in this property is to rent an upper floor unit, and/or get a short term lease so if you need to get out, you can and just realize that if you have any serious problems, the service might be lacking.”
“I've lived at the millennium for almost a year and just re-newed my lease. (it went up a little since last year). I cant believe some of the comments on here, especially about the management being "rude" and always "changing". There are some different people in the office that I noticed more recently but ive seen the same manager ever since I started living here. Teresa, the manager, is nothing but friendly and is so nice and courteous, she is the definition of true customer service. She always has a smile on her face and will make time to sit and talk to you about any concerns or complications while living here. I highly recommend living here because of the great customer service and management. There used to be some problems with cars being broken into when I first started living here, but I havent heard of any in a long time, and ive left my car unlocked a few times and nothing was stolen. I really like how safe it is, since I live by myself, and think that s also one of the main reasons im staying another year. The location is GREAT, 15 mins from work, and everything (galleria, downtown, midtown) is mins away. This is why I picked the millennium and probably wont leave for another year or two. The rent isnt too bad either, but its deff. not cheap, so if price is a big issue, I would look further out. All in all, come take a tour yourself, and if its by Teresa, you'll probably want to stay. : )”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“I moved to the Millennium about a year ago and back then, I was pretty satisfied. Not anymore. Ever since new management took over a few months ago, things are going down hill. * Cheaply built. * Trash all over the stairway * Service request wasn't even started after a week, and when I inquired to management about it, her response was "oh that sucks" * Management staff changing every 2-3 months * Every time I need to call management about a questions, I get put on hold for 20 minutes at a time, only for someone else to pick up the phone to ask what I was put on hold for. One time I was put on hold for 45 minutes just to answer a 10 second question!”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“My husband and I were one of the very first renters here at the Millennium Greenway (5th floor, facing neighborhood). We leased for two years and were so sad to leave. The apartment complex is very VERY safe (which is important to me) and is kept clean by a great maintenance staff. The maintenance staff and the office staff were always so helpful to us - especially the maintenance staff who would fix anything in our apartment that needed fixing the same day we would request it. We also loved the covered parking and the elevator service (although, the elevator broke maybe 5 times in two years). Our favorite part of it was that it felt "nicer" than other apartments (although maybe it is cheaply built). But still, it was a short-term place for us and we recommend it to anyone moving to Houston. I would advise living on the 5th floor, facing the neighborhood - it is quiet, safe, and you feel like you feel like you're living in a luxury high-rise.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“I think the title pretty much describes this disaster of a property, The Millennium Greenway. I lived at this frat house for 2 years and let me tell you it went from being a place I was happy to call my home to a place I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. The staff and building was awesome when I first leased my apartment, they had some issues with units being ready due to construction but always made sure we were satisfied. We had awesome resident functions, the pool was a great place to lay out and bring some friends, and the parking was always tight but not unbearable. I am so glad I moved out of this community, the management and staff had gone done everytime the manager changed. Lets just say the new manager is perfect for the property, she is just as trashy as the complex. Whoever manages this property, I say take a look around and see what is going on..”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“This is the worst apartment I have lived in and I have lived in 8 different apartment complex's. The walls are so thin, on a Monday night I got the cops called on me because me and my wife were watching tv at 7pm, wow!!! If a dog barks within a 100 yards you can hear it. The parking is sooooo bad, no visitor parking spots and the spots for residents are so narrow. I had someone hit my car in the parking garage and leave no note. The management is horrible and will not work with you at ALL. All in all do not live here and do not even stop by.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“I currently live in this apartment complex, but not for long. They advertise as "pet friendly" but recently have been enforcing new rules where you cannot take your dog ANYWHERE on the property except for the dog walk. Their dog walk is an approximately 50 foot long mud pit that doesn't have any grass or lights so if you take your dog out early in the morning or late in the evening you cannot see anything. I have also been outside multiple times to run into a homeless man who set up shop right at the end of the dog walk. The staff was notified of this and nothing was done. As for the staff - it is constantly changing and they are not very helpful. I have put in requests for pest control to come spray for roaches (which I have seen since day 1 of living here) and the woman in the front office argued about how pest control couldn't do anything about it. Also, I've had multiple times where maintenance has walked into my apartment - without any notice AND without knocking - for things that I wasn't even aware needed to be taken care of. Also, my apartment was broken into in the middle of the day while I was at work and because there is so limited security we were unable to find who did it. There are only security cameras placed in the parking garage (which I'm convinced they only use to tow cars that aren't supposed to park there) and stairwells. There are none in the hallways or in the common areas outside. Obviously whoever broke into my apartment lived here at the time because they couldn't find anything on any of the cameras in the stairwell or parking garage. The only good thing I have to say about this place is I've met some really nice people who also have dogs. Other than that, this apartment complex needs some serious over hauling, which new management would probably solve.”

They are always right and you are always wrong. They do not pro-rate the first month which I've never had an apartment do that. They will do anything to rip you off for any penny they can get. I've lived in many apartments before and this is the worst of all. My apartment is pretty small for a 2 bed 2 bath. Its way over priced, they make you pay for VIP trash even if you don't want it. And you can only leave your trash out 3 times a week from 8am to 10am. If you leave it out other than that, you get charged with high fees. The water bill is outrageously high. The dogs are a major problem here. The owners let their dogs pop on the property and most of them dont pick it up. This place is not a kid friendly apartment complex. Its more like a party complex. The pool area and most of the rest of the complex gets trashed all the time. They add new rules all the time that only make you mad. The parking here is a nightmare due to too small of spaces. They have their computers next to the office where the kitchen is and the coffee maker is. So if you need to go use the computer for school work, you only get frustrated with all the noise. The only thing good is the maintenance employees and the easy access to the freeway. The maintenance employees work hard and are nice. I would never live here again and would not recommend this place to anybody.”
— 4100 Southwest Fwy · Houston“i lived at millennium greenway for 13 months and it is the 2nd worst apartment i ever lived in (i have lived in 7 different apartments). the service was great up until the day they gave you the keys after you signed the contract. valerie the manager there was rude since the first day we were there. the staff is forever changing (except for valerie; not sure why). here is a list of why the apartment was bad. 1)Parking-does it even exist? its only great if you drive a car smaller than a civic (mini-coopers are perfect!) recently, the apartment complex decided to "enforce" rules on parking which they don't so if you are those ppl who get off work late or like to have fun on the weekends; plan on staying outside bc you won't find parking. the apartment also started letting the special renters have reserved parking, which was not explained, warned to us until they started painting the reserve signs. like i mentioned above (does parking even exist?)there are probably 300 parking spaces, with 50 reserved and plus add all the guest that follows other ppl in. (you get the hint). 2) Pet Friendly.... NOT! please make sure you love dog poops. I personally have a dog and love pets but people do not pick up dog poop! everyone has a big 80-120lb dog and it was not fun having my 25lb dog walk on it; everyday! there are no grass and it stinks! 3) Office Hours: the young (professional) kids are not professional! the hours are not convient for the business professionals. they say they will call you back, NOT! they say they will service you with any issues, NOT! Also, please make sure you have documentations of everything you do, since the front office does not keep a good record of it. 4) The Gym: if you are a runner, one of the treadmills is alway broken! and learn to share on monday-thursday after 5pm. 5) Elevators: always broken! enough said! 6) Moving in & out: beware and schedule it ahead of time and remind the front office since they easily forget to put your name down on the list. Other than that: its a convenient place to live since you don't have to pay for parking when watching a movie. the pool is nice (if you go when no one else is there).”
