“I've been living here for 8 months and it has not been the best when I first moved in there was roaches all over the apartment while empty. I had to work really hard to get them to leave the apartment. They were crawling through the vents and floating in the toilet. The apartments also painted over the roaches that were on the walls. They didn't clean the apartment prior to me moving in. The parking is not ideal and the spots in front of my building are reserved so even if I decided to purchase a reserved parking spot it would not be in front of my building. Neighbors are not the best. Extremely noisy on weekends and are not considerate of others around them, have complained to the office but I have not gotten anywhere. I asked to be moved due to the noise but that led to a dead end. I want to renew my lease but I can't deal with the neighbors or the roaches. It's so annoying to be paying so much money and can't get a decent night rest because of noisy neighbors. I really want to break my lease and move just to get away from the noise. I leave my house on the weekends just to get away from the noise. There is a hole in the shower that leaks when you run the air conditioner too many days in a row. Good thing is the maintenance is fast and reliable and I worked to get the roaches out. Other than that I want to move out and can't wait until the end of my lease so I can go.”

Initially I called to see if they had availability for a 1/1. The woman who answered Brenda, said they did have one and that I could apply. Assuring me that once I pick the specific floor plan it would be reserved for a time for me to drop off my app fee. I came in the following day dropped off the money order. Only for a week to pass by only for them to tell me there was never availability and would not refund my money. Who in the world would apply and pay for something that’s not available?! I can tell you who. The people working for this place.l that’s who. They will take your money under salsa pretenses. Not only that, apparently they cannot make a simple call to my current leasing office to verify my renters history. If I could I would give them no stars. I’m surec half of these reviews are fake. PLEASE AVOID!”
“Hi, I have a wonderful experience in this Apartment, It has best Amenity for the Price (Pools, Dog Park , Fitness Center). Front Desk ladies are very helpful and engage people almost every month either by activity or events . Maintenance Team is great!, They resolve next day or same day if it is Priority. Peaceful Locality.”

It is close to major free ways, and also the Metro Park and Ride, the area does not flood when it rains a lot in Houston. There are a lot of stores in the area and also within walking distance, gyms, restaurants. Jersey Village Police is always patrolling the area. Overall is a nice community.”

— 8901 JONES RD UNIT # 210 · Houston“Did not love the community because there were loud music every Sunday morning at 8:30am. Management and maintenance were horrible when it came to fixing issues, when things were broken. Had to call management multiple times regarding the same issue. No one got back to me or informed me about what was going. I often had to keep calling back about the same issue many times for about 3 or more weeks. There were problems with roaches from the first day I moved in, until the move out date. A tow company enters the complex at 4 am in the Morning! , in order to toll vehicles with expiration stickers, etc. The tow company is given a code by management in order to access the property during 4am. The driveway is terrible and broken down, the drive way is uneven and has been broken down since 2010 - (for the last 8 to 9 years). The gate, entry and exit ( in and out of the property, is usually broken, so that anyone who doesn't live in the apartment complex has access in and out of the property. The neighbors are loud on most days of the week ( during the hours of 9pm to 1am)... Not the place to live if you have a morning job or if you are a light sleeper. The pool is usually dirty and closed most of the seasonal Summer months. For the second floor apartments, the stairs are uneven, you have to be careful when walking up. The side walks flood whatever there is rain - and it rains a lot in Houston, especially during the winter, Spring and Fall months. The Side walks between apartments are muddy when wet and flood with very little rain. There is trash in the parking lot, in the parking spaces on the ground and all around the drive ways and side walk areas. During my 12 months of residency at the Point, the water was turned off many different times. The notices were given at the last minute when the water had already been shut off. Many days I endured not having water and another time, the water only came back on during the next day.”

Crime is awful and the office staff only is nice when you move in. The office manager is rude. This place is only good as a LAST RESORT and not as a first option.”

The staff in the office was always so helpful and very responsive. The complex is very quiet and filled with families and cute pets. Visitor parking is the only thing that I have ever had an issue with, but that is an issue that most apartments seem to have.”

— 8901 JONES RD UNIT # 210 · Houston“For the area THE Pointe is a great place to reside overall we are suppose to be own by ---------- which is always a plus Except THE manager is very prejudice ------ is -------- and probably 75% of this complex is -------- nothing is wrong with that its management such as expired registration that should apply to all residents no matter your race, since she have her workers walking the property non registered vehicles should not exist and one of the biggest things I see is number of occupants in and apartment these are 1&2 bdr if the fair housing act was really being use this complex would be empty most of the residents would be in violation however ------ choose what family and race she wants to complain about when it comes to this, parking is unfair I would love for her boss to check out her policy and practices because I've read the owner mission and it not what she practice so if you aren't -------- good look.”

The Pointe at steeplechase has recently improved its complex a lot. The pool is so refreshing, nice shade, grill works great, and the pool furniture is comfortable. I have a pet dog, and now the have a dog park, where you can walk the dog freely, and the little dog baggies station around the apts are great for oops. The staff here is super friendly, and really work with you, they really want you to stay and enjoy the community. Plus 290 is only 5 minutes away. I give two thumbs up here.”
