“I moved in in may 2019 and just signed for another year due to waiting for a 3 bedroom elsewhere well none were available so im now looking into getting a home, its been trouble since day one for starters when we paid the money and it came time to move in we went to the office and someone other then a manager gave me the key to the apartment which was not clean so we ended up having to clean it dead roaches on the floor the apartment carpets in the rooms are dirty and stinky and was not changed out they made the excuse that no one worked that weekend looks like it truns out that the person who gave us the key was part of maintainance the tub and toilet was dirty the walls around the floor boards were thick with dirt and dust bunnies the stove was dirty and its too old and has not been replaced there are drug addicts who get high right outside infront of other ppl the apartment had mold in them and ij some buildings there are falling in and caved in cielings and they let ivicted ppl stay with others so as long as they pay 100 a day they have no management even tho its says that they are under new managemet this place is horrible. They came out one time or twice to clean the carpet with a small machine but ot still did nothing for the smell days later...i had enough of having yo call and now all these issues fall onto deaf ears, and and dont help that most of the apartment on this whole street are the same owner so it means he is willing to keep renting them out like this in those conditions crime is bad here infested with that everywhere you look, here on property...sont bother calling security cuz they will just act like they are coming while they sit parked in a corner part of the complex, and when called out they dont show up maybe once or twice but sont bother reporting it or calling them cuz its a waste of time...our apartment was gross when we moved in so since it was the weekend we had ro wait til monday and then to find out that the the ladies who rented us the apartment were transferred and they keep bring in new ppl in the office while ignoring all the issues that need to be fixed..i had enough of wasting my money on this company and the company being liars about doing thier job...i would say just knock these apartments down all the way down the street cuz if these are bad lord knows how bad the others down the road are i want to move from this area period its a no good place to live...i hope many see this and someone can do something about this place and thier lack of caring for ppl instead of a easy paycheck while thier maintenance stands behind dumpsters on phones talking and what not...ive seen enough and hope to move from here soon”

“I've heard ------- people bought all of these properties what they've decided to do is get rid of all the ------ in this community! throw up this cheap paint, looking like a third world country! the ----- man that worked at the corner store in which he own had been there for years! they fired him! I'll be moving in a few months and I will be contacting (---), THE WHOLE STRIP IS NOTHING BUT -------- NOBODY --------------! I'M ALSO RESEARCHING TO FIND OUT WHO CAN I INFORM ON WHATS GOING ON WITH THESE OWNERS!”

“I can not wait until my lease is up in 10 months. Houston has a housing crisis so these people are getting away with robbery. There is nothing nice to say just look at the pictures . My windows do not lock week 2, Kitchen sink is collapsing, Stair way to apartment 4 loose boards and the big bad wolf is going to blow the entire thing down.”

“I move in 2017 and there were many changes in my life, but the ladies in the office has been such a good help with me and they are super nice , and they always asking if I needed anything. I decided to stay another year.”

“I love Mira vista apartment I lived there sense 2016 the property is excellent and the staff is amazing they make sure every resident is satisfied and happy in they home if your looking for a apartment this is the place to be come on over and sign up with Mira vista apartments.”

“I love living here and not planning on moving. They are very helpful and understanding. I had a problem with the kitchen light and it was fixed the same day. I also got approval really fast and got my keys even quicker they really helped me out in my hard times. I want to thank management and Damaris for all there help. I told like 5 people about the apartments they are great!”

“Do not move into these apartments. They are terrible, nasty and roach infested. Multiple apartments boarded up, trash scattered everywhere also the cameras dont work. The main entrance gate is never closed. It is always open. Lived here for one year, one person was shoot and another died on property. The leasing office never sent out a letter to the residents, about what is going on. The laundry room is dirty and none of the machines work. The mailbox area is not secure. Spend your money somewhere else.”

“If you are thinking about moving in these apts you should rethink it.The management at these apts are rude and unprofessional especially the Asst.Manager Kiesha..This lady has a bad attitude and she should not be a manager at all.She is dosrespectful, ------ as hell and I believe she is doing something illegal in that office.I went there at 4 pm to get my deposit back and the office doors were locked, but she was inside.She came to the door and peeked out yelled something rude and slammed the door back.Were do they do that at.I am trying locate the owners pf these apts to let them know what kind of people they have working for them.I also video taped her saying nasty things to a potentail renter.I will post this video on youtube and all over facebook, just to let everyone see how unprofessional she acts.The manager of this property is never in and she says she is the manager.That is a lie.So if you r thinking about leasing an apt here please do not because Keisha the Asst.Manger will make your stsy here unbearable.It is a shame that you give a person a little authority and it goes straight to thier head.”

“I have been living in mira vista since 2011 I can stay there have been numerous changes in office and outside staff. I really thought about moving if I did not see positive changes. the manager now heather has been there over a year and really has tried to make positive changes from my understanding we once again got new management as of the beginning off this year. I wasn't really sure how that would turn out because with new management comes new changes but i can say even after all the negative things that happen they are trying to make it better. Its a slow process but i can see the changes. I know alot of my neighbors who always talk very negative but yet continue to live here. If it is so bad why would someone want to continue living here. Yes maintenance is slow but as long as you have good communication with office they try very hard to keep is updated. I knew when i moved here i was not at a top notch property but the sad part is most of my neighbors are the ones who break the gates, they complain about trash everywhere but they put it there. I recently attend the crime watch meeting they have been holding once a month for the last 3 or 4 months and only 4 or 5 people show (including staff) i have over heard people talking that they only make complaints when they know their rent will be late just to get them more time. Come on people together as a community we can help assist the staff here in making it a better place to live.”

“These apartments are ------ as hell. I was looking for a 2bed room, which I got approved for. When I asked the lady to let me see one of their units, there was always an excuse for me not to. I drove around the apartments, i literally started crying like "Ewwww omg this is where im moving to?" They failed inspections more than 3 times. The women in the front office are so unprofessional, one of em have very little knowledge of leasing info. They lied and told me they didn't have a supervisor. They lied about the deposit info. Ugh If you are a decent clean nice human, DONOT move to this dumpster unless you wanna be shot or robbed.”

“Worst apartments ever.. Heather a two face both, she nice to you for a bit then when you need to talk to her she rude as hell.. she does lock out on people and takes their stuff if they haven't payed rent.. Keshia, what can I say, she acts like if she the manager.. rude as ----.. kisses Heathers --- all the time.. smh They never fix anything they promise that they gonna fix something and they never do.. complex is nasty, trash everywhere.. office is always close I would never recommend anyone here. Crime is bad, cameras don't work, no security.. just the worst apartments ever.. Nasty, nasty and nasty.. starting with the manager Heather and then the rest of the staff and then the apartment's. If you like living with roaches and mice and that everything falling apart then live here but if you don't like none of this.. go somewhere else”

“I normally wouldn't do this. But I couldn't hold myself back. These are the WORST apartments I have EVER EVER stayed in. They were NOT this bad when I moved in 2 yrs. ago. One of the new ASSISTANTS in the office, ------ is the worst I have ever met. She is completely unprofessional, rude, uneducated, LAZY etc. She REALLY needs to reconsider her career and not be in customer service. Somebody gets robbed every other day. The only time I've seen the maintenance is when they're passing out notes (which are also the worst notes I've ever seen, incorrect spelling, grammar, everything). They don't fix anything!!! My uncle has lived here for 6 mths and they STILL have not fixed the AC. I've lived in bad apartments, but none beat this place. Don't move here!! If you go to the office and ------ asks to assist you tell her "NOOOOO THANK YOU" and wait for somebody else. & ------...PLEASE GET A NEW JOB!”

“Let me first say I don't even know how I was able to rent there in the first place because the office is NEVER open they keep a sign on the door and they NEVER answer the phones! The new lady ------ that they have in the office is horribly rude! She lacks ANY customer service skills. Heather is fairly nice but I believe with this new lady being in the office she will surely follow suit and become nasty and rude. I would never recommend anyone living here. There is no need for parking permits because u never get a parking spot anyway. I believe they do little things on the side to get extra money like sell parking spots then go and spray paint a number on them so the residence will believe it's their parking spot. These apts need to be condemned and shut down. Half of the ppl living on the property don't even have their papers and I got that information from some who previously worked in the office. There is no maintenance! None that I have ever seen! Bottom line is u get what u pay for but u shouldn't waste a dime here!”

“The worst place ever to live. Maintenence barely comes. You only hear from anyone in the office when they are looking for a payment. I have complained about getting things fixed so many times. They try to come and fix it. Stuff still doesnt work. The lady ------ is very rude.. and feels like she can talk down to people because she has the upperhand. Terrible customer service. All old appliances . And they dont work on getting new ones. I hate i renewed my lease. I dont recommend anyone coming here to live. Roaches. And the bathroom smells like mold . Which i didnt know what mold smelled like (because ive never had to smell it before) until a visitor brought it to my attention. And the door to the office is always locked...and they leave a sign saying out on property . But when i am home. I dont ever see anyone out on property. And even if you have an emergency dealing with your place overnight . And call the phone. It will say the service is disconnected???.they also have an "emergencyemail" that never gets recognized.... cannot wait until march when my lease up... I will always give bad reviews about this place. They dont care . If i could give less than one star. I would. Very dissapointing.”

“I'm sry to say I paid the app fee and going to pay the dep fee Feb 27 to move in, the apt is upgrade I hope. Accent wall color mirror in dinerm.. Jenny ast manager rude n passive aggressive, ericka too gullable n nice, that gay dude manager or whatever is already act like a ----- to assistant manger. I read dead people in reviews, horrible office, maintence issue. Oh well, u can't beat all bills paid. I have ugly acura car so hope no one wanna break in. I gone all day n be home 4pm-10pm n leave again. Omg plz God keep me safe and healthy!!! Anyone know about building 10?????????? Laundry RM safe? help reply plz God bless you, n BTW I have research over n over about apt. I like to have nice things. But now I just dont know.”

“PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT . THEY BROKE INTO MY APARTMENT AND VEHICLE THEY DIDNT EVEN CARE THE SRCURITY OFFICER IS SUCH A WUSS. MAINTNENCE SUCKS THEY HAVENT FIXED MY REFRIGERATOR LEAKING AND FOOD ALL ROTTEN. THE BATHROOMS ARE OLD THE TUB AND TOILETS ARE PEELED OFF ONLY BEEN THERE 2MTHS NO PARKING AFTER 7PM AND THR STAFF RUDE --- HELL EVEN WHEN YOU GO AND PAY UR RENT THEY LOOK DWN ON U AND DNT LET ME GET STARTED W THE DUM MAASS MANAGER JENNY THE WORST UGLY RUDEST ----- THEY R NICE AT THE BEGGINING DNT BE FOOLED STAY AWAY YOU DNT HAVE PRIVACY THEY COME INTO UR APARTMENT WITHOUT A GD EXCUSE NO VISITORS AFTER 3DAYS R ALLOWED I HEAR GUNSHOTS EVERYNITE ; GUNSPOINT THEY CALL IT”

“This is the worst place to live in from the manger to the apt to the security guard. The security guard is sorry he mess with the wrong people. I have been living here for a year in a half and when my lease is up i am gone. That had 4 break in in the pass 6 days. the apt it self is full of roaches they have been treating my apt the whole time i have been living there. the manger is rude and does not listen she is a liar.”

“Oak Bend Apartemnts at gunspoint! I found a bullet hole one day when I returned from work. It crossed the bedroom wall, a second call and stopped at the mirror.”

“I've only been here for about 3 weeks and already there has been shooting. Just the night before last there was a guy shot in the neck and lots of people saw who it was but wont say who it was out of fear. There is drug selling at all times of the day and night AND YES MANAGEMENT IS AWARE!!! MANAGER doesnt care what happens on the property as long as it doesnt happen while shes here.”

“I only stayed here two weeks so far good maintence. A lot of hard heads around. They have you to sign a paper saying that you can not be hanging out of your apartment. plus they say they do not have security here but they do not know who the gentleman is walking around the apartments at night with a security suit on a night with a flash light. I had a man to aproach me with gun on him high... There are a lot of wont a be drug dealers here as well... It is not pleasent place”

“My first month here I almost shot a sixteen yr old kid because he was trying to kill a crack head outside waiving his gun in the direction of my apartment where my kids were sleeping, One night at about 3 am some deranged woman bleeding from her forehead to her neck was beating on my door begging for help almost broke my window in the process, come to find out the trick had aids when I went to leasing office to ask if they were gonna come and clean the outside of door they said no. Oh yeah they threatened to evict us because we didnt pay our rent but the reality was they lost our payment so I had to show them our receipt with their signature. Over half the complex doesnt work so you will be disturbed all times of the night and early morning. Not a great place to raise your kids the dumbasses throw their beerbottles on the grass and break them on the cement. The Front office service sucks”

“Please don't lease here!!! I had been here two weeks when my apt was broken into while I was gone for 45 minutes. In broad daylight at that. Then 2 months later they tried to pry my deadbolt off and where not successful in getting in. People of all ages and all times day and night standing in large groups yelling and acting like they have no commom consideration for their neighbors.”

“OAK BEND APARTMENTS OR NICE FOR A PERSON MOVING OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE ONLY THING THAT NEEDS TO BE UPGRADED IS THE SECURTIY AND SHOWER HEADS. MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO THE FIRST WEEK I STAYED THERE AND ALL THEY COULD DO WAS SEND A LETTER TO THE RESIDENCE SAYING IF THEY SEEN ANYTHING CONTACT THEM. I WAS TOLD WHEN I MOVED IN THAT SHERRIFS WALK AROUND CONSTANTLY. WELL THAT PROVED NOT TO BE THE CASE.<br><br>OVERALL RATING ***”
