“DO NOT MOVE HERE! Yes the management changed but they are so lacking its unbelievable. They allowed 3 18 yr old girls to move into a one bedroom apartment above us and the floors are already paper thin to which these girls partied every night till 2 am in high heels. Management did nothing about them, the only solution they gave us was to call the police or they could move us to another crap unit. By the way the cops were called on 4 occasions and nothing was done. They knowing let 2 pot heads live next door to us and told us the week we moved in that there was nothing they could do and told us again to call the cops if they bothered us. MANAGEMENT does not care who moves in as long as they are getting lots filled. The maintenance as said in other reviews is terrible and just does a patch job until it breaks the next time. Multiple cars were broken into during the 10 months we lived there. The gates into the community were broken and forced open half the time we were there so anyone could drive in. When it came to use moving out some of our blinds had broken and MANAGEMENT let us know to not worry about replacing them because they were putting new ones in anyway, next thing we knew we got a bill for the new blinds a month after we moved out. This Complex is GARBAGE and avoid it like the Plague.”

Moved me into a unit with the bathtub peeling every month they had to come spray once a month . this staff is very RUDE & think stuff should be done on their time when you paying over 1,000 in rent. ive lived luxury before and this AINT IT . kayra management suck they never answer and dont have corporate number ive filed a complaint with the apartment association and also waiting on the regional manager of the property to call me back.. this is the worst living situation i ever had the toilet is rising came home one day to water all over the floor and maintenance outside partying .. i will make sure EVERYONE ik never even drive by these apartments worst mistake ever made.i have pictures of EVERYTHING this is not the mistake you wanna make look else where .”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I have lived in this apartment complex for over 1 year now and within the last few months, the property has been under new management. I absolutely love the new team that has taken over running the property. The two ladies that work in the office (Sam and Lindsey) are friendly, helpful, and always trying to make improvements to the community. Right now, they have a Christmas wrapping station set up in the office that is free for residents to use! The office is also open much more now since the new management has taken over, making it easier to pick up packages, use the community room, and work-out in the gym. For the cost and location of this apartment, you're truly not going to find a better deal. I have loved living in Vintage Park; it's a fun area that offers many delicious restaurants, fun bars, and a unique shopping plaza. The interior of the apartments may not be in pristine condition, but I consider them to be above average. They have new appliances (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher) and they provide you with a washer and drier in the unit! Additionally, I am also grateful for the amount of storage room in this apartment. I live in one of the one-bedroom apartments with my boyfriend, and we have plenty of room for storage. I also enjoy having the small office in the apartment, quite and respectful neighbors, free covered parking, and a mail room that's open all the time (just for mail, not packages). I really only have a few complaints about living here. First, I wish all of the apartments had wood floors. The carpet when I moved in was spotless, but I personally prefer tile or wood. Second, the pool looks much nicer in the pictures than it does in real life. It is still a nice pool, but it could be cleaned more often, and the hot tub doesn't really get hot (more like bathwater). Third, the gym is good for a quick cardio work-out and there are some free weights, but if you're super into fitness, you're going to want a gym membership (there is a 24-Hour Fitness less than a mile down the road). I am sad that I will soon be moving out of this apartment. The only reason I am leaving is because I have job downtown and the commute is too unbearable. P.S. - this apartment complex DID NOT FLOOD during Hurricane Harvey. Many streets and houses in the surrounding neighborhoods did, but this property didn't even come close to flooding.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“After leaving my previous apartment complex && coming to Tivoli I am extremely excited I was able to have my old property manager back, having this team of wonder ladies have been nothing more then a blessing. I've read previous reviews but they definitely have to have been old. I have recently moved here and so far so good. I know if I need anything I cam reach out to Lindsey or Sam and they are right on it. My apartment is a very nice size considering it's just me and my soa NOT TO MENTION MY TUB. I love that when you call they try to get things handled quickly as possible. IF NOBODY HAD TOLD YOU LADIES LATELY I'LL SAY IT YOU ROCK!!!! A very satisfied resident.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“Lived here for 3 years and all the low reviews are true. When calling for maintenance they would patch things up quickly resulting in poor work. Since moving in we have had problems with our AC and have called over 12times to have it fixed and the staff was unable to fix it. Our lease is about to expire and we were planning to move out until the property changed ownership. Although the property just changed ownership you can tell management is turning things around. They had someone working on our AC as soon as we called and have a new unit on order to replace the one that hasn't been working since we moved in. New company is looking to improve the property instead of giving us the run around like the old management did. Visit the property if looking for a place and don't go off the old reviews as things have changed since the property is under new ownership.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I have lived have lived here for 3 weeks now, and have nothing but regrets about ignoring the negative reviews and moving here anyway. When I moved in, the apartment was FILTHY. I'm talking about spilled coca cola (I'm assuming) ALL over the blinds in the dining area, sticky floors, gobs and gobs of dust and mold clogging the vents, and an awful smell. The cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen were almost falling off the hinges and wouldn't even shut. The cold setting on the washing machine was SCALDING hot, and the washing machine is so loud that it scared my mother on the phone. You have to run the dryer 3 times to dry your clothes. The toilet paper holder brackets were installed too close together and TP won't fit. The ice maker has produced 6 pieces of ice since I moved in. Literally. Then, there are the little things. No overhead lights in the living room, burned out bulbs in the kitchen, rotten-looking baseboards. I emailed the property manager Tuesday after Labor Day (I moved in the Sunday before), and got no response. A few days later, I noticed that the vent had been cleaned out and the cabinets somewhat fixed (ish). There was no note left to tell me that anyone had been in my apartment. I went to the leasing office and spoke with an employee and actually broke down crying about the disgustingness of my unit, and how things still hadn't been repaired. She apologized profusely, and asked me to come back in and speak with management. I told her that I have just started a new job with late hours, that I wasn't looking for conflict with property management, and that I just wanted things fixed, but that I would try to come in. I am also a full-time student, and have not had the time or energy to go in. I emailed the office yesterday (during regular business hours) to tell them that my air conditioner was going out. I had to set the thermostat at 66 to get the temp to go down to 75. No response. I called, no answer. I emailed again and asked why I hadn't gotten a response, still radio-silence. All of the tenants that I've spoken to will tell you how awful the maintenance is. Vanessa told me that they had been brought in to fix these issues. They are not succeeding. Please save yourself the heartache and don't come here. I'm going to post this review to every site I can find. Typing while I sweat, looking at millipedes crawling across my floor. Awesome.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“SCAM ALERT!!! The apartments are terrible with bugs and bad noisy neighbors. Maintenance never answered to service requests. But the worst part is that after moving out they found a way to take most of my refundable deposit by creating bogus charges to my account. BAD PLACE stay away!!! Staff is very unprofessional and never seem to have a clue about what's going on. They smiled at me when I told them I was seeing a lot of roaches in my apartment and needed a pest control. Basically they knew they had a problem and were never going to address it.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I have lived here for almost 7years this used to be a safe complex. Crime rate has increased in this area. The mailboxes have been broken into and management has not replaced or have the mailboxes secured. It's ashame that they don't take extra measures to fix this . I woud not reccomend these apartments .”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Spend a little more money to live at the nicer apartments around here. I promise you'll be happy you did. There are roaches, and everything is complete crap on the inside. The model apartment makes it seem so nice but it's nothing like it. The $175 security deposit? Nope it's a "sure bond" which means you'll never get it back! You're basically just paying an extra $175. There were and are a number of things wrong in my apartment before I moved in and they are slow to fix them.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I just moved in. I am a student and I needed something to fit my budget. I read the reviews but honestly I needed something I can afford. I stopped by and well surprised as I was it was nice. I was expecting something else after reading some of these. But I think this place is great. maybe scorned folks make more noise than the happy people. It is quiet first of all. I like on the second level in the side of the office facing the pool which by the way is quite nice in size area. People grill and stuff I hear laughter but I think as hard as people work to live they should enjoy life right. They got a tanning salon by the room where you can shoot pool and play fooseball and use computers and stuff, I like to tan all year so that is what I think is pretty cool about living here. Me and my friends take advantage of the theater room for the Texans and Aggie games which is tight. I like it if you want a big apartment with modern looks at affordable price then check it your self.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I moved to Houston in 2014 for a new job, I was under a very hectic time schedule to find an apartment. After being dupped by Photoshopped pictures of potential apartment's, when I arrived at Tivoli I felt a sense of relief. The outside was beautiful, the staff was friendly and courteous, upon finding out that the location had a pool, hotub, pool table, workout room and an on site movie theater.... I was more than sold. I know have my own home yet I still miss the comfort's of that movie theater. All and all I would refer anyone to Tivoli apartment's, I have nothing but pleasant memories of my time there.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“Jus wanted to show pictures of what I had to deal with the entire time I stayed on property! I enjoyed the area and felt safe but the inside was not worth the money and maintenance did not come when called or even come at all. Here is proof”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“My experience with the Tivoli was a nightmare from beginning to end! Make sure to inspect your apartment THOROUGHLY before moving in because they patch things up like I have Never seen before and NOTHING will ever be repaired once you're in. Management sucks and does nothing but get people to sign leases. The new manager, -------- is the rudest most unprofessional I have ever seen, very rude and condescending. The gate never works so there are people in and out at will and there is no security. Biggest mistake ever! And I tell everyone I hear about what I experienced there and show the pictures and encourage them to run! Fast! And I will continue to do so. Tivoli is not worth the money or the headache! GO around the corner to the Vintage! Much better, clean, MAINTAINED and the same price if not cheaper! DO NOT MOVE TO THE TIVOLI!”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I moved in 2013 and recently had to move due to a job transfer out of state. I've never had any issues living at Tivoli. I love.. the area! I even referred my co-worker to move here. I told the staff if I come back to Houston I will definitely be moving back here.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“Don't go for this apartment. The management sucks! Response very slow if you have any requests. They are good at lying, charge you for unnecessary charges. They will squeeze your money out from your pocket. Overall, I do not recommend anyone to rent here. It is wellknown for their sucky management!”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I'm throughly upset with this place. I never had a problem with any place I've lived until now and that's saying something since we move almost every year. Maintainance is a joke. Instead of fixing problems, they put a bandaid on them and move on. They don't fix the problem til you've screamed at someone about how you've had to call like 10 times in 4 weeks to fix it. The apartment had splattered paint everywhere from the carpet to the floor, if you don't rent a renovated unit, the appliances are so old, you have to run the dishwasher 3 times just to get anything clean. And to top that off, the leasing office had a resident appreciation pool party with a dj that was not only WAY above appropriate sound levels, but chose to play the worst music he could get his hands on. As a leasing office, you should know you have families with small children who really don't need to hear through the windows songs with the F word or music that talks about getting laid (that is the nicest way I could put it, trust me it's way worse then that) or doing drugs. If the dj you hire plays something like that, you should put an end to it, not let him stay an addition 3+ hours. The speakers are so loud we couldn't even hear our TV through all the noise. So I urge you, before you rent an apartment there, read all the reviews and make a better decision.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“No sense of what hospitality is. They cover up maintenance problems instead of fixing them. They say granite counter tops but it's fake. Don't be fooled and don't live here. Compared to the 6 other apartments I've lived in, this is the worst.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“Wow, im so disappointed. I thought this place would be nice but really it has issues. First, my apt was dirty when I arrived. They had advance notice I would be moving in and it was a mess with things broken. For instance, I now have a huge.hole in my shower with mess everywhere. Clearly, there is a problem with maintenance. They left a note while I was at work stating, dont use the shower sorry. It has been two days.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I have lived in a lot of different apartment complexes in Houston. For Tivoli the location is great and the apartment is really nice. The staff are absolutely awful though. They wont reply to any emails or phone calls, ignore maintenance requests, and just lie about everything you ask them to do. Really not impressed with them and is bad enough that I cant wait to move out. Extremely unprofessional”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“We are looking to rent an apartment and found this online, did their whole quote/reserve etc. Got a quote that said it was good for 48 hours. My husband went there at lunch today and was told that the quote was not good even though it did not expire until 8 pm tonight. They said well things change. Really? Also their site says you have internet leading you to believe it's provide, what they don't say is it's in the clubhouse. The price they told him was almost $100/month higher than the printed quote he had in his hand. Rip off artists and pretty sure this is not legal. Will be consulting an attorney.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“Since I moved to Tivoli I have enjoyed living here and it has exceeded all my expectations. The staff is amazing! If I have any questions or need assistance they both are always attentive and answer my questions They really are a welcoming and cheerful staff. The apartment itself is very nice with new appliances and it looked just like their mini model. Their lobby is always clean with water, coffee, and snacks for us, a nice pool area, and I love the gym because they have water and clean towels. Oh and I forgot to mention the tanning bed! LOVE IT! The apartment has a perfect location by grocery stores and it s a few minutes away from the Willowbrook Mall. The apartment community/vintage park is nice and friendly. You have a washer and dryer in your apartment which is great an advantage to us! Since I moved in I have not had any problems and I love living here!”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I moved here in November 2013, immediately I had buyers remorse The cabinets had grease stains the baseboards were cracked, the carpet was wet the day I moved in, there is paint splatter everywhere and the counter tops have laminate over them. I accepted the apartment with the hopes that they would do right by me and correct these issues. It is now March 2014 and nothing has changed. When I first moved in the apartment manger told me that if I needed anything that maintaince would assist no matter if it was hanging a TV. Well my dryer was a 4 prong and I called to have them change the socket out they refused stating that I needed to call an electrician or do it myself. I asked if I do it myself and mess it up what happens they stated then we will have to come and fix it. They just didn t want to help me. I m paying a water bill of $35.00 which I think is ridiculous for a small one bedroom. The hallways and stairways are very trashy, there is writings on the walls it looks so trashy and unkept. They don t power wash the hallways like my old complex. Almost everyone has a dog, they s&^% everywhere and the owners do not pick up after them. The visitors have to park out front because there are limited spaces inside the gate, not all residents follow this rule. I have found myself parking further than need be because of this. I love the area & feel safe here, but I m paying way too much for such a shabby apartment. If you move here I suggest you look at the actual apartment before you sign the leased that way the changes can be made before you move because they will not be once you move in.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“Please read this review before moving in! The staff here is horrible, they're very unprofessional and do not care about their tenants AT ALL. There have been numerous break-ins lately, and just an FYI, their security systems are fake and don't work, and you would think the new management would invest their money on new a new security system, but instead they spent it on a pool table in the lobby, and other things no one gives a hoot about. Horrible staff, just horrible, please, if you're thinking about moving, DO NOT MOVE HERE!”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“A new management co. took over in June 2013, and it has gone downhill ever since. They send written notices by someone that is obviously still learning English, plan to decipher, and the notices are always making you aware of the fact that they are much less tolerant of the previous mgmt co. on certain things. You stand a MUCH better chance of being towed, especially since there seems to be less parking spaces although the multitude of cars are supposedly accounted for as residents. When you try to park by the office to check your mail, the front of the office is now filled w/cars, therefore, you have to park in the fire zone, be quick! Can't wait until the lease is up.”
— 10110 CHARTERWOOD DR · HOUSTON“I've been living in these complex for two years and I'm finally done with them. The complex is bad with parking situations, to the point you have to pay just to have a place to park your car when you get home. Safety is horrible due to their courtesy officer who isn't on his job, which should be mandatory due to surroundings. They will nickel and dime you until you cant afford to pay anything else. The manager Tausha has the worst attitude AFTER you sign the papers. Tausha is a very professional lady but she is Fake, one minute she is nice and then the next she is a horrible character who will find something to fine you for each month. Plus the bugs that walk around the property are as big as my foot!”
