“Worst management staff I have ever encountered after their false claims and SLOW attempts to resolve any issues. High hidden fees and shady business practices. I have had several opportunities to recommend these apartments to friends in exchange for $500 off rent, but that will never happen because I would not recommend anyone to go through living here. First day moving in was horrible too with carpet coming up exposing sharp metal edges on the floor, which is still unresolved after months, filthy apartment and what looks like cement all over the toilet. The one thing that is doing it's job is a falcon who swooped down and took one of the rats that roam around. We have been infested with ants here too, which was resolved after a month. Do move here if you absolutely love break ins, gunshots, staff apathy and incompetence!!”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“Misleading sales/leasing practices, poorly maintained community and units, and unethical management and organization as a whole.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“My experience as a tenant at this property can only be described as positive. The property itself is well kept by the grounds staff. Management is always pleasant to deal with and available to address any issues that you may have in a reasonable time frame. If safety is a concern, then you need not worry, this place is very secure with gates and security. There is a good mix of people that are very neighborly, which just makes for an overall great environment to live in. This place is situated conveniently to a lot of restaurants and establishments not to mention its proximity to a lot of the central areas in Houston. I highly recommend anyone to lease a place here!”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“Upon moving in everything here has been really great, helpful office staff who actually seem to like to be at work, I had a Maintence emergency just recently and they got to me so fast and they wernt even on the property at the time, that really was great! I chose to live on the 3rd floor and the ceilings up here are so nice , i feel like I'm in a house, not even a 3rd floor apartment. And it's pretty quiet around here. The only way to get into the gate is if the leasing office is showing you an apartment or if you know someone who lives here for them to let you in thru their phones, I am a bartender and work crazy hours, I have a garage here and even tho they arnt attached it's nice to always know you have a safe place to park or if the weather is bad somewhere to hide your car, the parking here isn't bad tho they're always spots still close by even if I don't park in my garage. Maintence wears richdale community shirt logo uniform atleast they guys I've met and have helped me have been, I like that I feel safer knowing this is correct person who's suppose to be here and be helping me. I knew after seeing the apartment I loved it here and the energy around this place is great. This is totally real positive review , I noticed all these other reviews are from forever go, this place has been amazing , honestly.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“This apartment is NOT safe. The management and maintenance are good people, but there have been multiple break ins just within the past year. We have been broken into twice and had things stolen and then our car was broken into as well. We also know of 3 other break ins that have happened in this complex and another car break in all of this has happened within the last 8 months. The security guard that they hire is not consistent. I would NOT recommend this complex just based on the complete lack of safety.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“My boyfriend and I recently decided not to move here after already putting down a deposit, which we've requested be refunded. Tuscany Court is where the main leasing office is, ----- who is the manager is extremely rude, I feel sorry for anyone who has to experience what we did, with her. She doesn't take responsibility for ANYTHING, and wasn't helpful with the leasing process at all! ----- told me it's not their fault my boyfriend has too low of income for the rent, which is clearly NOT true. She saw his pay stubs and said he made enough and that we were fine! ----- is very deceitful and full of lies. Don't bother asking her to talk in private either, she will stand in the lobby and talk to you letting everyone know your business! She'll also cut you off in the middle of speaking and say "Be quiet let me finish my thought." RUDE much?!? -----, who is the leasing underwriter was no more helpful than -----, also an extremely rude woman. She will not pick up the phone or return messages. I have nothing positive to say about either of these two very belligerent women. This whole association is completely disorganized. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be given a run around over and over and receive awful service.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“I'm about to move out of Texas and I'm bummed I can't take my apartment with me. The architecture is good, both inside and out. I did spend a significant amount of time and money furnishing my apartment, so I don't know, like, scientifically, how much of my enjoyment of the interior is due to that and how much is due to the design of the building itself. But it is nice. Richdale has a handful of properties around the Galleria area, but Tuscany Park is the best one. It's close to so much stuff. IF the Galleria suits you more than the other areas of Houston (Washington, Midtown), and you value comfort and aesthetics over proximity to bars and the nightlife, THEN you should definitely consider this place. And let me say one mean thing on here: I hate tree roaches as much as anybody, but if you blame a corporation for their existence you are an idiot.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“I just moved in 2 weeks ago and so far I have no complaints and can only regard my experience as being very satisfied. Maintenance has responded to a couple of requests I have had within a day or two at max from the actual work order being entered and have fixed things right the first time around. I find the office staff to be extremely warm and alert to my requests and concerns. One thing to note is that the office is off of Augusta and the apartment is on S Voss, but this does not diminish the level of service I have received and the timely response to any requests I have made. The overall place is small which I like and has been very quiet considering its location. The parking is not assigned and there are more than enough spaces for the tenants. The security seems good, when the gate is being fixed or cannot close, they post a security guard to watch out at the entrance. Also we have alarm systems in each apartment. So far so good, if anything changes I will be sure to report back.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“Small, quiet community. Clean apartments. Easy parking.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“After living at this community for almost a year I do NOT plan on renewing my lease. I have had many bug problems including ants, "termites", and baby roaches. Also a tree roach was inside my apartment but seeing as that there are many trees in the community it's not too surprising. The "termites" I mention were never identified but I kept seeing small bugs crawling on my couch legs numerous times and it took 3 written notices and a call to corporate for them to actually send terminex to check out the problem. I even collected samples. Also don't expect to have problems fixed in a reasonably amount of time. Usually takes 3 or more calls. You'd think water leaking into apartment would be important. Besides the bug problems I will write the pros and cons: Pros: location quiet community Cons: bugs apartment features (small closets, abnormally small toilet, ugly basic counter tops, etc.) time to fix problems No where to walk dog, must go out onto voss general apartment upkeep”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“I'm sure anyone saying anything positive about this place is the management. Yes, it's one of the more affordable places in the area, but you're sacrificing your peace of mind and safety by living here. My car was stolen out of the parking lot within a few months of moving in. After informing the management about this and requesting they install video cameras, I was told it wasn't plausible. A few months later, my apartment was broken into in broad daylight. It took nearly a month for the complex to fix my door! This was after day in and day out calling them and asking someone to come replace the door. The lack of emotional empathy they displayed for my natural insecurity after such a breech of privacy took place was appalling. Within a couple of months my upstairs neighbor had her apartment broken into. In her case, there were no forced entry marks left on the door, leading us to believe it was an inside job. In fact, I know of no fewer than six people who've had their apartments or garages broken into while living here. In my opinion it's someone who works with Tuscany, especially since the break-ins happen when we're out at work during the middle of the day. If you live here, your apartment will be broke into eventually. It's almost a guarantee.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“I have lived here for a year now. I received my renewal letter, and granted no one is ever "happy" about an increase. I decided to look around in the Galleria area to make sure I was not over paying or if there was a better deal. For what I pay, its a great deal! Less then a mile up the street is a place just like what I live in and they wanted $130 more! Yes, they had a dog park and a few tennis courts, but I don't use that. My apartment is quiet and never hear anyone around me. Someone just moved in above me and hardly heard them. Management just painted the building which helps ALOT and they do a great job of getting maintenance out. Sometimes it is a little slow and might take an additional phone call but everyone there always seems to help out in anyway they can. I go to the office every month to pay rent and whoever is in there always has something funny to say or a way to brighten your day a bit. Makes paying the rent a little easier. Bottom line: If you want a nice, quiet, clean apartment for the best price around the Galleria this is it. Its not luxury, but its good apartment and so far no complaints with management.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“Worst maintenance ever, no one is ever at the leasing office to answer calls, and no one returns calls.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“I have been here few months now and like living here, its good location and sqft for the price i am paying. The inside of the apartment is pretty clean(they just repainted the outside as well),i like the crown molding and the fireplace:) My only problem is this and i hope the management reads and does something about it. There is no office here ,they have a small leasing room which does not accept your mail boxes etc since its open only a few hrs each day for showing prospective tenants around. so for me the only thing that i don't like is the lack of a front office where u can walk in and pick up your mail/packages etc. I don't like going to the Tuscany Court leasing office all the way to Augusta ln to pick my packages.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“This place is fantastic. The location is perfect with tons of things to do just minutes away. Hidden gems like dumpling king and nicer places like Winetopia surround my apartment. I appreciate the easy access it allows to the galleria without having to spend the extra money. Been there and trust me the extra 5 minutes I drive to save $400/mo is welll worth it. It would be nice to have someone on property all of the time, but the issues don't come often enough to warrant a complaint. I will say that having an issue with the gate so close to westheimer creeps me out a bit. I prefer the gate closed and only my neighbors having access.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“I am planning to move in here. You get the best even though the price is high.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“I promised a review at my move out, fortunately I am pleased with the level of service received while here. I never had an issue like some of the people before me, but i didn't really do anything to cause an issue - maybe i got lucky. The apartment itself was nice, the complex extremely small and quiet. Location was absolutely perfect and my original reason for stopping by over 2 years ago. Not once did i have to deal with management or corporate people and for that, it seems, i should be thankful. If i moved back to Houston, i would look at tuscany park again.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“i went into the leasing office to thank them for having someone on the property and the leasing associate asked me if i would post a review. so herr goes: 1. this is a quaint small property . there are only a few buildings 2. the apartments are above average 3. office personnel are very helpful but theyre only there a half day in the afternoons, otherwise they are at the main tuscany office-- 4. maintenance is good 5. the floorplan I'm in is real cute....i have a wet bar and huge closet. 6. the exterior of building can use some paint Price is right for a 1 bedroom den.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“This is by far the worst place I ever lived. When I first moved in there were invisible biting bugs in the apartment. I would awake to swollen face, fingers, arms and legs. Management did not handle the problem properly, so I had to bomb the place several of times and got rid of pests (at my expense). There were numerous of apt break-ins. My home was broken into as well as 4 of neighbors . There is no type of security cameras on property. The gates are not working most of the time. When they are they re extremely loud. Office staff is the worst, even for the simplest thing, they give you a big runaround and nine times out of ten they have a cheesy look on there face. The dump truck comes at 4 in morn and slams down compactor hard as possible to wake up tenants. The property is not maintain properly, paint chipping everywhere along with greasy spots and gum spots in breeze way. There is a strange guy with a small hat on head that patrols the property in the wee hours of the morning. They are full of termites. I found them in my window seal. There one good point I like to expose: they did give deposit back.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“We moved into Tuscany Park 2 years ago and have received GREAT customer service from the office. Our heater went out last week and the guys came to fix it within a few ours. We are NOT going anywhere! Thank you Richdale for Tim and Gina!”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“3 apartments have broken into within the last month. If you are concerned about your safety, this is not the place for you. Management does not give a crap at all what happens, all they say is 'This is Houston !!'. My lease is up soon, and I definitely won't renew it.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“This complex is not perfect, but I really can't believe all the negative reviews it's got on here. I strongly suspect a vast majority of people who have posted reviews are simply "complainer" types who are enticed by the fact that this website gives them an opportunity to complain anonymously...C'mon people. I love living here. For $750/800 a month, you can't beat a place like this. Most of my friends are surprised this is all that I pay. Can't beat the location...close to Westhiemer which makes the location convient; it is also basically in Memorial, so the proximity to a classy area makes it relatively safe (or at least safer). The apartment is spacious and supplied with amenities such as a washer/dryer. The complex itself is small which is nice. There is always somewhere to park, and I don't rent a garage. The pool and hot tub are well kept and the place is in general quite clean. Always felt safe and have had no issues. Seriously, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this place other than the noise that's been coming from the next lot over lately due to the construction (looks like another apartment complex is being built). Obviously, this is only temporary and there's not really anything the owners or staff can do about it anwyay. My water heater has broke before and some of my power outlets have gone out in the past, but the staff has always sent someone to fix that sort of stuff quickly the same day. Vending machine never gives you what you tell it too. Who cares. Positives far out way the negatives.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“The location is excellent, the exterior is pretty, but there is room for improvement in maintainance of the grounds and in my unit. I moved in June 2007, and my unit was given to me dusty and with an awful paint job. It smelled of cigarettes, and there were bugs. I asked for the leasing office to spray for nats, and they claimed it had already been done. A month later I still had small flies(nats), and they still haven't come (it's December now). I did it myself w a store bought defogger. My bathroom ceiling has a leak above the bath tub that leaks nasty brown water in to tub. It's been there since October. They are giving me 2 days of rent credit for my inconvenience but it hardly seems fair. I have had to shower at a friend's house when the leak is bad, other times I try to move around it, but it is very annoying and disgusting, for now it has molded. It has yet to be fixed. The walls are thin, and when my upstairs neighbor does laundry or uses his dryer, it is quite noisy! My dryer is noisy as well, but at least ir works. Also, I have a neighboor that NEVER uses a leash on her dog and I've almost run over him twice. Nobody cleans up after their pets either, and I stepped on some dog pooh on my way to the car to go to work one morning, it was disgusting! I wish the mgmt would address this issue. The lights in the exterior hallways of my building are never on in the morning (I leave for work at 6am), and it extremely dark. The heater on the spa doesn't work, and the water sprinklers come on even when it's raining. The front gate call box is on the opposite end of the gate that opens so if your guest come visit, they have to call first, then back up on to traffic on Voss to pull in front of the gate that opens. The parking is very tight, although it is all unassigned covered parking which is nice, and the garages are very affordable ($55 when I signed my lease). You have to pay water/trash monthly (approx$20 for my 1bdrm/study) and rental ins (approx $15/month) in addition to rent. All in all, I love the location, my rent is adequate for the location and size if my unit but the maintainance issues I've had have made my overall experience awful. The office staff have been accomadating every time I've called, although maintainance has been quite inefficient. The gym is tiny, only 2 machines in a clausterphobic room, but there is a 24 hr fitness nearby and u have access to the gyms at other Richdale propeties. I will probably renew my lease b/c I hate moving, but I will definetly shop around if things don't get better with maintainance. Good luck!”
“Apartments are nice on the inside, but there are too many safety concerns. Multiple neighbors of mine have had their apartments or cars broken into. One was held up at gun point. Management does not do anything- only makes you buy insurance. I have also had tons of solicitors come to my aparment in the evening hours. Two of my neighbors have been broken into within the last month. If you are concerned about your safety, this is not the place for you. My lease is up soon, and I definitely won't renew it.”
— 2505 S VOSS RD · Houston“it's been 10 months, looks nice and quite but getting dangerous lately. No security and the other day they break in my neighbour's apartment in the middle of the day, since it is very small coplex and almost everyone at work they just break the door and get it. is this what we are paying for? And 2 months ago some drunk came to my door and destroy, even the police came but the managment didnt came to fix, they even didnt call to check..I am leaving end of my lease.”
