“If I could put ZERO STARSS I would leave zero stars. 1. they never answer the phone. 2. mold in a whole building that they wont fix. 3. the front desk is the worst. not sure if they act dumb or are dumb. 4. The manager is never there. Good luck try to get a hold of anyone. overall we have lives there 2 years, our lease is almost up! but they are making it difficult for us to leave. They are acting like they never received our move out notice. even if it was send to the email that THEY told us to send it too. When you go to the office to make sure they got the move out notice they say they have no gotten anything. when we say we have the paper for them to sign they say they cannot sign it. then they go ask their manager. when she comes back out she says that her manager says if they can do anything to change our minds. at this point nothing can be done, because we have at so many issues. what they can do is sign our move out notice that we sent way more than 60 days before. we are moving to a different apartment and they are asking for them to answer their calls and emails. they wont answer they acting like they havent received anything. we ask right then and their for them to respond. She says we havent recevied nothing. So we tell her can you give me your email so we can make sure you get it. then she gives it to us and says she didnt received it. so we tell her to check again. she says oh yeah. we tell her can you sign it and she says no come back tommorow. after we tell her why not she says her managers are too busy. when they are both in the office. also another man is there that had been waiting 20mins already and he was upset as well. Worst apartment complex ever.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“This is my first apartment. I’ve been living here for almost a year. The first day I moved in I had roaches in the cabinets on my seasonings. I had company over the first week and there was a roach crawling in my room and on the wall watching So embarrassing. It’s sad I have to check the kitchen before stepping into it. I’m scared to cook for guests bc im afraid the roaches will join my guests and take a seat with their crumb of food. I’m a clean person with nice furniture so it’s unfortunate I have to deal with bugs. They also get into my fridge and hair products. I have proof. I bought bug spray and maintenance came only one time to spray which both doesn’t work. Not only that, I repeatedly told management about the wires in the wall for my internet. I had the AT&T technician come to do the service but he told me my wires are connected to my neighbor’s side and I have to tell my apartment manager. But the manager told me my internet person has to fix it. The neighbors are always fighting I’m surrounded by toxic couple. I let the first times slide but I called them and the police and they didn’t do anything about it. They bang on the walls and scream ALLLLL the time , matter if its early morning or late at night, which wakes me up. The office workers automatically knew who I was talking about but didn’t resolve the issue. Til this day they still do the same thing. So now I have insomnia and paranoia. I’m confused and frustrated. I cant work from home from the noise and wires to pay my rent. I don’t even feel comfortable in my own home so why should I pay anyway.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“This place been horrible, the new management Makes it worse. Extremely rude and unprofessional they won’t even let you finish a sentence and hang up on your face. They steal check refunds for deposits and tell you nothing we can do the older management needs to issue one to you. They are lost and will make this place even worst. Juuust loook somewhere else”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“Loved the apartment, the amenities and great service. If you are looking around and go around the westchase area go look at Village at Westchase Apartments and ask for Jessica Hernandez, she will answer all your questions and make you feel at home.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“We moved in here on September and we were promised they were going to fix our laundromat doors and until today they haven't fixed them. I called the office Monday because our toilet has been leaking water since the weekend and they haven't come to fix it. Im so annoyed by their maintaince that we just decided to go to Home depot ourselves and take care of the toilet.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I have lived here for 4 years now and I can not express how excited I am about our new manager! He's helped me so much lately and is on top of things! Even with all of the chaos going on with Covid he has continued to go above and beyond and our property really needed someone like him bad! So happy to see where things are gonna go here in the near future with a more capable staff!!”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I have lived at Village at Westchase for 5 years and I am so happy to call here my home. The staff take well care of the property and their residents specially with everything that is going on they are still very professional and willing to go the extra mile. My toilet was stopped up and the maintenance took care of it right away. Thank you guys and continue to good work.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“DO NOT MOVE HERE, WARNING WANING BEWARE!!!! I've been a resident here for two year, and I am essentially being forced to stay here. I left my apartment one night, due to the fact that my downstairs neighbor turned her apartment into club quarantine one night, and the walls are so thin at this complex, I heard all of the ongoings in my bedroom. Mind you there is a courtesy officer (Named Marcus, who according to the Office Manager Brice Navarro, is experiencing "personal issues" so he isn't much of an officer ?? or courteous for that matter), that lives directly across the parking lot, and he did nothing. I was forced to leave my apartment to stay with my mom just to get a good nights rest. Only to return over the weekend to my front door being kicked in. Also as I came home to find this, I was already in a back and forth with BRICE NAVARRO, about being charged LATES FEES, and being threatened with EVICTION, while the CARES ACT was still in place. I notified the office of the incident, and BRICE NAVARRO said to me and I quote, "I CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR SAFETY ON THIS PROPETY, THERE IS NO WHERE IN THE CITY YOU CAN GON WHERE YOU'LL FEEL SAFE, INVEST IN A WEAPON." Oh and it gets worst, the AREA MANAGER, TANESHA STONE OF ASCENSION MANAGEMENT, stated he was correct in stating this to me. I pay rent every month, and you can't guarantee my safety? I've lived in Houston my entire life, and it wasn't until I moved here that I had my front door kicked in. This IS NOT the first time this has occurred on this property, and I should have taken the previous incidents as a sign of things to come. Let's go down the list: -Upon moving in, the parking lots would be ridden with glass for car windows being broken out, residentS with trash bags and tapes on their windows, the office did nothing. -My downstairs neighbor, while Marcus the courtesy officer was dealing with "personal issues" I'm assuming, had his new car placed on four center blocks, all four of his tires and rims stolen, the office didn't so or say ANYTHING -Another neighbor was literally being beaten in the middle of the parking lot, residents had to call the police because office personnel wasn't even on site. The assailant returned later that night, BROKE INTO HER APARTMENT AND HID UNTIL SHE RETURNED. Multiple police cars, K9 UNITS, MEGAPHONES AND RIOT GEAR, RIGHT IN THE FRONR LAWN. Oh yeah this is all DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE LEASING OFFICE. -A close friend of mine had his apartment door kicked in, he wanted out of his lease as well, but they merely moved him to another unit, where he experience similar incidents. THIS PROPERTY IS CRIME RIDDEN, THE OFFICE PERSONNEL ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER BRICE NAVARRO, DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE RESIDENTS AT ALL. HE LAUGHED AS I EXPLAINED TO HIM WHAT I EXPERIENCED THIS PAST MONTH, AND EVERYONE ELSE ABOVE HIM BACKED HIM UP. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE, THEYLL TELL YOU ONE PRICE FOR RENT, AND THEN YOU GET YOUR NOTICE AND BAM, EXTRA MAGICAL FEES. And what is most important is they do. It care about your safety or needs as a resident , they only care about money. It is every man for himself, yes the gate doesn't have a code, yes there are "courtesy officers" that live on site, yes this probably isn't the worst of the complexes in the are, but it definitely isn't safe! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Ascension property management STAFF: TANESHA STONE-area manager KIM BOX- SENIOR REGIONAL SUPERVISOR BRICE NAVARRO- OFFICE MANAGER”
“Please i beg you don't!!!!The worst apartment ever I can't wait to move out. it's roach infested and millipedes in every corner of the apartment pest control can't get rid of the matured roaches, they even go as far as getting in the refrigerator. Several leaks from ceiling and maintenance can't do anything about it ,Loud neighbors, up-to seven people living in one apartment, the management don't have control over the residents. I only ended here because i was desperate but please no matter how desperate you are don't... i made a mistake and wouldn't want anyone to go through this, paying to live mIserable. I read the reviews before i moved in but they lied and said the people that wrote the reviews are the ones that the pay rent and got evicted. I'M ONLY GIVING ONE STAR SO AS TO WRITE THIS. They don't deserve it. It's not worth it . Don't believe the good reviews the management wrote that. I'm still contemplating whether to risk it all and break the lease instead of living like a rat in this disastrous apartment.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“The property manager at this location is extremely racist and the regional manager allows it. The leasing specialist informed me that I was okay to move in but the property manager intervened and wouldn't allow me to move in. When I called to check the status of my application they would pretend they were with other people or say that the leasing specialist I was working with was unavailable. Worst experience ever!!!!!!!”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I would not recommend moving here. The apartments look great and the prices are decent.Once you move in its the total opposite. The apartments are infested with roaches. They are everywhere the mostly the bathroom and the bedroom. No matter how clean i keep the place the roaches are everywhere. They come from the cracks in the foundation. The office comes every Wednesday to spray and it doesn't help at all.The walls are thin. You can hear everything from the neighbors.I wish didn't move here worst mistake.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“When I first saw the rentavtions I was excited about moving here. Everything looks good to the naked eye but oh was I fooled. This place is roach infested. There are cracks in the foundation and the roaches come and go through the cracks. It's horrible! My wife and I are extremely clean people and no matter what we do the roaches will not go away. We see them in our restroom the most. Which is very weird giving there's no food in the restroom. I contacted the office and they lied and said we missed pest control day. How convenient. Our place is beautiful but the roaches are embarrassing and we are itching to break the lease.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“ROACH INFESTED. They give you the option to have someone come spray on Wednesday's but it doesn't help at all. Every time I open my cabinets, dishwasher, etc... bugs are falling and scattering. It's so embarrassing that I don't even have company. Every Tuesday & Thursday they shut the water off................they didn't mention that when I signed my lease. Stray cats and dogs are always roaming. I regret moving here”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I HATE LIVING HERE. THE NOISE RADAR HERE ITS OFF THE CHARTS EVERYDAY ALMOST OTHER THAN THE WEEKEND I AM WOKEN UP OUT OF MY SLEEP DUE TO LOUD NOISES COMING FROM THEIR WORKERS. INSTEAD OF THEIR WORKERS COMING TO EITHER FIX AN APARTMENT OR CUT THE GRASS AT A DECENT TIME WHEN EVERYONE IS MOSTLY UP THEY COME AT 7 OR 8 IN THE MORNING CUTTING THE GRASS, USING POWER TOOLS, BANGING ON THE WALL, EVERYTHING YOU DO NOT WANT TO HEAR THAT EARLY IN THE MORNING. I AM UP NOW POSTING A REVIEW BECAUSE I CAN NOT GO BACK TO SLEEP DUE TO ALL THE NOISE. VERY DISAPPOINTED.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“This property is under construction and renovation. Power tool noise all the time even at hours of the night. What they show you is Cotton Candy and Candy Apples of only one model but not the floor plan, location and interior you get which looks nothing like the model. They require that you sign a lease for your unseen apartment. You will never see your completed apartment or location until you move in. They have nothing to show until your first day moving in. The water pipes leak and the water is off every Tuesday and Thursday for pipe repairs and this has been going on over a year. Even the laundromat is off on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The water-sewer bill and utilities are ridiculously high. The water pipes are corroded and have leaks and they charge it to the tenants. They cheat you on the actual cost of utilities. They charge full rent while you are deprived of quite and enjoyment and no water when you need it. The Village of Westchase staff has a nasty attitude about people and tend to stereotype them. The subordinate staff develop their idealism and biasness about people from of the community manager which is misunderstood because the city is different from the country where she comes from. These people are not from Houston, Harris County. The management company is Ascension Commercial Real Estate LP., which has a "F" rating by the Better Business Bureau. Their staff is uneducated. No one has education above the high school level so they lie and send out misinformation by email. When you ask a question and they don't know the answer your response is a lie. They are also have certain biasness towards certain people because they are from rural country.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I moved in and yes, it's under construction- but everything looks so much better. The moving process was made really easy by the courteous and really welcoming staff. I've had minor issues in my apartment, which were taken care of really quickly. Really, no complaints- it's a great location and price.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I hate these apartments. Roaches everywhere, and the walls are so thin you can literally hear music constantly from your neighbors. I cant even look at tv in my living room because of the constant music from my neighbors.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I've been a resident of Wallingford Apt for a little over a month. From the the moment I walked in Ms Debbie Miller has made me feel welcome and glad I chose to move here. She has made sure every time I had a problem it was taken care of in a timely manner. She's one of the bright spots in the office. She greets you with a warm smile and honest answers.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“Since I walked in the door Ms.Debbie Millar was so welcoming to not only the office but the whole apartment complex. She made me and my family feel so welcome and of course she helped me and my kids with a great move in rate. The apartments are a great location and I can see me and my kids at Wallingford as our NEW home.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“Thought I found my happy place. The parking lot floods. There's not enough landscaping so there's alot of mud. My friend got their tires stolen.my vehicle was towed twice illegally.....i thought I found my happy place ??oh and pet owners refuse to pick up doggy waste.......”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I have been a resident for about 3 year years. I haven't had many problems here. The maintenance crew is pretty good about getting repairs done. I did have a billing issue last month but the manager took care of it. She was professional and helpful. The staff is friendly which is refreshing after some of the apartments I have lived in.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I have been a resident at Wallingford for nine years. I have seen managers, leasing agents come and go like crazy. I will be transferring at the end of February to a smaller unit. I gotta give an at to the new leasing agents they are awesome. Jessi is my leasing agent she took care of me like I was her family. Her friendly smile and great attitude convinced me to stay and do a transfer. Finally we have great professional leasing agents. They rock and love the new staff.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I'm not sure if she is still there, but, Araceli is a piece of trash manager in this complex. There are roaches, also. Gross roaches everywhere. Araceli is a racist and she harassed big time. I wish I knew my rights then. They trick you into a lease agreement by promising you one thing and delivering another. Araceli couldn't find my money order, called me at work and demanded that I come in because she couldn't find it. She SWORE THAT I DIDN'T PAY! Threatened to evict me immediately. I had to leave work, 40 miles away. She couldn't wait until I got off. No! I got there, showed her my stub, then she found it. IT HAD BEEN GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE! Her inept assistant filed it under another name! Unbelievable. She made my life a living hell! I hated it there and I hated her. Still do. Don't do it! They are scammers!”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I do not where to start i have been living here for like 7 years now and this place sucks this is going to be my last year. Maintenance i guess they do their job i put a work order and they come and fix it, takes time but eventually would be fixed, they are not polite. Now office is my nightmare Manager and staff at office. Within a year we have had like 5 to 6 managers no one can handle this property, it had been delincuence around at night and illegal activities and maintenance knows but they do not report it i guess, during the day this is a park kids from 9 to 14 years old running in your porch trowing balls and eggs to window. I went to office and report issue and she said this was lke a month ago, she said they can not do anything about it???? They do not have rules. Parking space at 9pm there is not where to park. we have limousines, cabs, taco trucks, expired stickers cars parked here for like a year and has not been moved since then and reported to offcie and have not done anything. During the week sometimes guests have their party over their porch with loud music and doing barbecue on second floors very dangerous and Office knows because i went and reported it and this keeps happenings sometimes Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. I try to contact the Supervisor of the Manager left voicemail and never called me back. I renew my contract with the Manager on duty by that time and for some reason that manager left and this other new came and what we agreed with previous manager were not able to keep the changes i was offered to renew my lease and nothing was done. Roaches been having it for like 3 years i can not get rid of them. And i guess you all are wondering why do i still living here and i have a lot personal reasons but hopefully this is my last year since rent is going up every year so i guess would be the same as buying a house. i am paying $850 with all utilities included and with all this issues i do not think is worth it. so yes i guess when you move in here the first year would be ok but if you last this long like i do your experience would be a nightmare. Good Luck! I wish i can upload a picture of the Roaches at night you would be disgusted.”
— 2750 WALLINGFORD DR · Houston“I had made a review on these apartments when I first moved in. I was a noobie and lets face it, it was my first apartment and I let the excitement of it get a hold of me. After living here for almost 7 months, I CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE. Let me just say these apartments are literally INFESTED in cockroaches. I clean the apartment EVERY SINGLE DAY and every night the kitchen looks like roachtropolis. It seriously looks like a roach farm in there. I dont even go to sleep calm anymore cus I know in the middle of the night I'm gonna have them falling on me from the ceiling and its pretty ridiculous. I've gone to the office multiple times telling them about this infestation and they haven't done anything about it. I'm just fed up. In the summer the door always jams due to the heat. I have literally been trapped in the apartment because I couldn't get the door opened at all. We've had that door repaired multiple times that the top lock doesn't even work. Then the area is just horrible. I figured since it is close to the Westchase market that it be a good neighborhood but not at all. Recently someone got shot outside the gates of the apartment complex and a couple years back a little old woman got raped. Seriously go to click 2 Houston and search up Wallingford Apartments its not a joke. Basically the only good thing about these apartments is that the rent is cheap but other than that these apartments need to be knocked down and rebuilt cus they're pretty horrible.”
