“While living at Parkway and Parkgreen on Bellaire, my belongings were disposed of without any prior notification or compensation. When I approached the management for an explanation, there was no response. Instead, they repeatedly stated, 'We can't do anything about it.' This has been the worst place and management I've ever had to deal with in my life, and the lack of accountability for this incident only adds to the frustration”

“do not live here. someone just broke into all the mailboxes last night and theres always glass on the street from people breaking into cars but they supposedly have security... ill be back to update how long it takes them to fix the mailboxes because these new middle eastern or indian owners are cheap af, they want to charge you for every little thing but dont keep up the apartments...”

“Don't move to this terrible place. Crazy loud music and dog barking all night. If you go to work early and need to sleep early, help yourself and don't live here. There are unleashed big dogs around. Be careful of dog poops on the ground. Dirty, filthy and stinky apartment. Poor maintenance. No parking space available unless you pay money for a reserved place. Bugs everywhere. Old appliance. Rude leasing office staff. Never notify you in advance for any notice. Management does anything they want without asking opinions from current tenants. Cut the water frequently without notice.”

“Horrible maintenance.. horrible staff . Roches everywhere .. parking horrible they make you pay when I feel like each apartment should at least have one spot assing.. just don’t move with any Indus property they sucks .. they are only painting and marking the appearance from the outside look good that’s it but the inside is all old and molded everywhere and paint chiping the bathtubs are super old they just paint them, the paint comes off and it just disgusting.. cabinets all the wood inside of them is super old just plain nasty .. I am warning you Do NOT MOVED HERE!!! Rent is high everywhere anyways find you a nice place to leave but not here.”

“-1 degrees and I've called 100 times to come and fix my AC all winter long and still nothing . Don't move here ! They have a million roaches , roaches in your food , on the bed , in the toy box and mold all over the restrooms”

“I'm currently a resident of these apartments and I have lived here in 2008 and 2009 before I moved out and came back to live in 2012 to present day. I'm gonna be blunt that when the new owners brought the property, they start changing and pricing everything. Paying $35 for a parking spot is ridiculous. This is my main issue. Water bill has always been high, I don't get why should we pay for gas, but lately it got a bit lower but it's still high. Cockroaches appear everywhere. My mother in law wanted to obtain a parking sticker because the person who used to live with her took it and the Indian lady said it cost $100. Really? It's all about the money and I never had any issues before new management came in. We renewed the contract because rent increase is not much of a difference and because of my son's babysitter who lives downstairs. I don't recommend to anyone. Oh and my sister used to live in Parkway and she didn't like it.”

“IT'S NOT WORTH THE MONEY! In the restroom when it rains the walls swell with huge pockets of water that you can physically push and water will gush out because the roof leaks. The refrigerator works like a car with 500,000 miles on it which means it doesn't work. The bottom drawer fills with water and has to be dumped out on a weekly basis. The sink's food disposal leaks as well. The wood and paint inside the kitchen cabinets is very crusty and unsanitary. I had to lay clean rags down in them. The main burner on the stove doesn't work. The cover to the A/C vent is held on by paint and will fall off if you bump it. MAINTENANCE WILL NOT FIX IT NO MATTER HOW MANY REQUEST YOU CALL IT, WHICH IS WHY IT IS STILL IN THIS CONDITION! Parking is hell unless you pay $10/month for a reserved spot. At night you need a flood light to scan the parking spaces to find one available. There are speed bumps everywhere that will work your nerves. The main ones are when you exit. You have to park in between 2, wait for the gate to open, then turn your wheel to the right like hell to turn and exit. It's so annoying and awkward.”

“This apt. complex used to be great. New management team not so good anymore, loud neighbors, loud music. Also mold growing in the bathroom and kitchen walls, A/C doesn't function properly. Service requests never get finished unless you call office more than one time. Wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone unless the owners or leasing team start to care about their residents. I think they would have to demolish the whole complex and build it new, very old structure”

“These apartments were great a few years ago when I moved in but new management as everyone else has stated ruined the place. They jacked up the rent AND FOR WHAT?! I've seen so many people move since its sad. It used to be increasing hard to rent here because nothing was ever available and of course now vacant apartments are everywhere. Firstly its the noise. I don't know if its the Cubans like everyone is saying that are moving in or what but there's parties and loud music ALL THE TIME! And if you live by the pool forget about peace and quiet because they'll try to be there all night drinking beer etc. We have to call security to kick them out the pool which even then he takes 20+min to get over there. Before they always locked the pool up at 9pm but I don't know why they don't now. Secondly all the comments about mold is true. We had a leak they fixed on the roof but never came back to fix the inside so we cleaned it ourselves and AC also has mold. Third, trash is everywhere. This place has become increasingly trashy beer bottles lay by the porch and in the grass. God forbid you have little kids running around. Apparently management doesn't care because the picture is weeks old. Also they changed the drive in and walk in gate few months ago requiring a card and had the nerve to charge all its residents who had already been living there $25 for it!!! Are you serious?!?!So you've just locked me out my apartments out of nowhere and you want me to pay $25! That should've been given automatically for current residents and only paid unless you lost it. In conclusion dont waste your time and money moving here, it's not worth it. I just wish I knew where all my neighbors went. Hopefully I find a place when my lease is up.”

“the management for this apartment does not care about anyone that lives here and will not make the repairs to a/c for mold on the walls. I have lived with mold in my apartment since feb and still not fixed. my ac freezes up every week and I have to live without a/c till it defrosts. Someone need to take charge of these issues and fix the problems.”

“My husband and I moved here recently. We chose these apartments because it was the lowest price we could find, and we needed to move in immediately. However, I am looking forward for our lease to end. The apartment is dirty, we have had problems with roaches, and even spotted a mouse recently! Maintenance takes a while to complete work orders. You really have to be calling and reminding staff about your work orders. I have noticed mold on the bathroom ceiling. The worst is parking. There is barely any parking for tenants, parking for visitors is always risky because there's a high chance that they will be towed even if they are parked where allowed. Even though rent is cheaper than other places, I feel like it's still too expensive for the quality you get. However, it is a good location in terms of being in close proximity to essentials: grocery stores, good food, parks, libraries. I think that is really what you're paying for by living here. But it's not enough to keep me here.”

“my name is Charles A. This is a very nice place to stay. i have been here for 3 years now. stayed in the one bedroom, then did a 2 bedroom apt and now i am in the townhouse. very safe area, haven't had any issues In my 3 years. Alicia in the office is the greatest human being alive because she always makes sure we are good and any maintenance issues (which are few) are taken care of asap. the manager is also cool. ill def recommend this apartment to others which i already have.”

“The assistant manager ------ she's very rude and unprofessional. She's on the phone all day. She always says she will do stuff but it never gets done. Ridiculous how she treats people. Staff is horrible, maintenance is poor.”

“I too agree with your 9 comments. I somewhat have/had similar ones; 1. I had to report about my refrigerator for months before they finally brought in a used one from another apartment 2 Neighbors play loud music from their vehicles. 3. Grounds are very disgusting and very unkempt. 4. Pet feces on the sidewalk and roaming cats (need to call the SPCA); I never understood why they cut down the trees; looks to ------ for me; reserved parking fee is too high. Tell me why should you have to pay for parking anyways. They should assign parking spaces according to apartment units for that matter. 5. Laundry rooms, LOL, please are the washers working? 6. Hot water? Water bill too high - was told if you have a W/D connection, your bill will be high even if you dont have a washer or dyer. Whats wrong with that picture. 7. Had bugs coming from the outside at night. Moved sofa one day cleaning and there were about 50 dead bugs. It was scary. 8. You are right, nothing to offer. Went up $100.00 on rent - these are not luxury apartments and not even worth the rent that's being paid now. They online setup for rent payment but did not tell you there will be fee for that ($25.00+). I am moving once lease is up. 10. Also, they hire lousy painters - I mean an elementary child or a blind person could do a better job. Walls have running streaks of paint; not even sure if they use a paint brush, also they paint the bathtub thinking you will be move before the paint starts to wear off. Just a overpriced, trashy, unappealing apartment community. The only thing they have going is the apartment sign facing Bellaire. Wonder how much that cost But what can you expect when management change everything change- not for the better of the current tenants or prospective ones only for the themselves. Anonymous”

“I moved here last month, mainly attracted to the complex by the low rent considering the location. Location is great. You are within walking distance to Chinatown (good eats), plenty of hookah lounges nearby, Westheimer and the Galleria are less than ten minutes away, you are near several pharmacies and banks. Area seems fairly safe (for Houston of course). Leasing office is incredibly incompetent in general, so be prepared for that. Not rude in my experience, just incompetent. The leasing office employees do not communicate with each other, so every time you go in and someone else is working you have to repeat everything you told the last person you talked to, which makes it rather difficult to get things done. This especially proved to be a problem while moving in. I called in advance and asked for a tour of the unit. The agent I spoke to, whose name I cannot recall, told me the unit was available and I could stop by any time for a tour. I gave her a specific time and date I would be visiting. Well I take off of work and show up that day and was greeted with, "We don't have any units to tour." My "tour" wound up just being the agent GOING OVER A PICTURE OF THE FLOORPLAN WITH ME. I could have done that myself online!! I left quite upset and returned a few days later. I was very straightforward and told her if I was to lease at their apartment complex I must see a unit. She reluctantly agreed and took me to a unit that WAS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING RENOVATED. Like literally, plastic was all over the floors, the kitchen was in shambles, work was being done while I was walking around the unit. Better than nothing I suppose. The grounds can be pretty trashed sometimes, but that's really the residents' fault; maintenance does a pretty good job with groundskeeping. I live in a 1B/1B and love the layout of my unit. You could say it's "refurbished", but it really just looks like maintenance put another coat of paint on everything, but considering the price I pay to live here I'm just impressed they did any updating at all. I've seen a few bugs here and there but definitely not the equivalent of an infestation. Noise levels are low for the most part. You are right next to a park and a golf course is literally in my backyard, which is nice. Parking is so-so but only because I don't want to reserve a spot (I may in the future); I live on the backside so I usually just park on Harbor Town, as I can see my car from my patio. All in all, not a bad place for a single guy. I was expecting much worse.”

WE RECENTLY GOT BED BUGS FROM OUR NEIGHBORS AND WE HAVE CALLED OVER AND OVER AND STILL NOTHING . WE CALLED TO GET OUR CARPET CLEANED AND THEY TOLD US IF WE RENEWED OUR CONTRACT THEY WOULD PUT A NEW CARPET , THAT NEVER HAPPENED . IT IS NOT CLEAN , NO PARKING ANYWHERE AFTER 9 PM . THE STAFF IS RUDE AND THEY ONLY CARE TO TALK ABOUT THE RENT MONEY . WE ARE MOVING OUT ASAP . THEY KEEP PUTTING UP PRICES ON THINGS AND NOTHING CHANGES OR GETS FIXED . PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE !!! MY FRIEND JUST MOVED IN THEY KEPT SWITCHING THE MOVE IN DATE ON HER AND SHE HAD ALREADY ORDERED ALL HER FURNITURE , THEY HALF-ASSED HER FLOOR AND SHE HAS SEVERAL COMPLAINTS AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT SEEN HER APARTMENT”

“first of all ALL the bad comments are true. I never leave comments but really need to vent and warn people. 1.Mainteannce is horrible I was without a stove for 3 months & they could care less IT WASN'T UNTIL IT SPARKED AND SMELLED THEY RUSHED IN AND REPLACED also I was without a closet door for 6 months! 2.the noise. kids & even grown adults run up the staircase and don't mind their voices or tell.their kids any better 3. THE GROUNDS ARE DISGUSTING I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH TRASHY NEIGHBORS FROM THE PARKING LOT TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM IT LITERALLY LOOKS LIKES EVERYONE EMPTIES THEIR HOME AND CAR TRASH ON THE GROUND very unappealing,dumpsters are always overflowing also 4.TOO MANY STRAY CATS 5.LAUNDRY ROOM MACHINES ARE NEVER WORKING & OVER PRICED NOW 6.THE hot WATER JUST GOES OFF WITHOUT NOTICE FOR HOURS THE SINK IN KITCHEN SOMETIMES RUNS BROWN WATER. YUCK! 7.I AM A NEAT FREAK AND THESE APTS ARE INFESTED WITH ROACHES NO MATTER WHAT I DO IT IS SO EMBARRASSING I AM ASHAME TO INVITE COMPANY 8.landscaping sucks it's dead and boring I don't know if it's just me but I like my exterior to look great as well new management cut down the few trees AND SHADE THAT WAS LEFT & made it feel extra homey 9.PAEKING IS A PAIN! RESERVED PARKING IS $35 & TOO MUCH AND I'M ALREADY PAYING $640 FOR RENT TO ME THUS PLACE ISN'T WORTH $675 SO I JUST WALK A LONG WALK EVERY NIGHT which isn't safe for ladies I hate this place now and think it's overpriced and trashy I get the heebie jeebis approaching my home which is awful. Thus place is going down. I love the location, I am close to everything in 20 mins or less (galleria,freeeway,610,sugarland,westheimer) which is so perfect! But i will not be renewing This is a wasteland :'”

“Several things are huge issue here.. 1. its nice weather outside so if you wish to go in the pool than dont go becuase its not clean, its disgusting!! 2. laundry facility is very filthy and gross 3. too many cats and cat poop everywhere which is leading to a smell in the community 4. they need to put better door locks for security even though there is a security guard (remember hes not there only to look for your apartment) 5. PARKING!! huge issue!! they need to make more space for resident parking and have seperate guest parking! 6. maintance takes forever to come and fix any problem you have 7. creepy neighbors and too much noiseee”
