“I recommend SoDo on Main as a great place to live. The staff is friendly and responsive, and the maintenance team is quick to address any issues. They offer a variety of floor plan options to suit different needs, and the amenities are excellent, featuring spectacular views of downtown Houston. The community is also conveniently located, with close proximity to a variety of neighborhoods across Houston, making it easy to access dining, shopping, and entertainment options.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“From the moment I moved in, I knew this place was different. The staff here genuinely care about the residents they go above and beyond every single day to make sure everything runs smoothly. The building is always spotless, maintenance requests are handled lightning fast (huge shoutout to Fredi absolute legend!), and the amenities make coming home feel like stepping into a resort in the middle of downtown Houston. My apartment is beautiful, the view is incredible, and the energy of the community is unmatched. Whether it’s a resident event, a friendly wave from the concierge, or just the peaceful vibe of the South Tower, SoDo on Main makes you feel like you’re right where you’re supposed to be. After living here, I can honestly say this is more than just an apartment it’s home. I couldn’t be happier to call SoDo on Main my place.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“The leasing staff and maintenance team are not only unresponsive—they are dangerously incompetent. I reported a serious issue with my shower door to both the front office and front desk, clearly stating that it looked like it was about to fall off the hinges. I was told that because it was Sunday, nothing could be done. That same evening, the shower door fell on me, shattering and embedding glass into my skin. I had to go to the emergency room due to my injuries. This situation was completely preventable had they acted on the warning I gave them. To make matters worse, the front desk told me someone from corporate would follow up. No one ever called. The lack of accountability and compassion is appalling. I would strongly caution anyone considering moving here: this is not just about poor service—it’s about your safety. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone under any circumstances.”
“Staff is unresponsive and I have had safety related concerns with the concierge staff. Leasing staff does not like to respond or see comments seen through to resolution. Concierge team and resident team do not apparently communicate and issues with concierge team apparently have a separate, inaccessible point of contact.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“My experience at the apartment has been mostly positive. The space is comfortable and well-maintained, with essential amenities that meet my daily needs. The location is convenient, offering easy access to public transportation, grocery stores, and restaurants. Management has been responsive to maintenance requests, and the building feels safe and quiet. Overall, it’s been a good place to live.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“The apartment complex is good. However leasing and move in is such a pain I would say you run in the other direction. The leasing team appears friendly and professional but they don't care about you a single bit. They are slow to respond and never answer calls during the leasing process. They don't communicate about your application at all! Even after I moved in, it hasn't been smooth. The most infuriating issue which I know would be an instant deal breaker for many, the WiFi wiring in my unit is broken and I won't have wifi for at least two weeks after moving in. The apartment says I need to take it up with the internet provider but it was their responsibility to ensure the wiring was done before I moved in!!!”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“I really love my apartment at Sodo on Main, the community is very welcoming and the apartments and views are great. Anj the concierge and Stew who works in the office are always so friendly and helpful to all of the residents. It really makes it feel like home to have such a nice staff.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“Overall, the building is lovely, the amenities and the view is absolutely great. Everything is access control, so it feels very safe, the walls and the ceiling are 7 inch thick concrete. So. you don't really hear your neighbors. I am enjoying my time here and look forward to many years to come.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“Everyone is very friendly maintenance is quick , don’t have any complaints at the moment but we’ll let you know when I do. I don’t know how to use the grill on the roof that would be good to know at some point”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“Any work order I’ve ever had has been handled promptly and professionally. The staff here is great! Both times I had hvac issues fresh took care of it quickly and professionally. The team here is completely professional every time.”

— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“I have lived at sodo on main for a little over a year, and i love my apartment. the entire office staff is very nice, especially the manager at the south tower stu. he is always super friendly and helpful and it seems like he knows all of the residents in the building. I recently resigned my lease and looking forward to living here another year.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“10/10 would recommend to other.. views are what sold me ! Leasing is super helpful, I felt like that actually wanted me to move into their property and didn’t feel like just another applicant ! Which I appreciate because at the other location in river oaks I did NOT receive that type of treatment”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“I am satisfied with my experience here at SoDo at Main North. I love the amount of space I have in the apartment and how the location is centralized with a nice view of the city no matter what room you go in.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“great place to live great amenities just wonder why the community has stopped doing monthly events it was a great way to get to know others in the community while living in an apartment. Over all great”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“I love the building, the amenities, the people living here! The view is more than amazing! And the price for the zone is really good! I consider I took the best decision by choosing this place to live!”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“I have been here at SODO on Main North Tower a month now and I love it. Let me first say that Stu deserves a raise! This man was super professional and helped me with any and everything I had questions about. From apartment touring to getting me approved on my lease, Stu was there every step of the way. He even stayed in contact and continued to work with me for weeks after our apt tour together. He was able to help me find a place I can call home that fit everything I was looking for. I cannot say enough good things about Stu he is truly a great guy and I'm thankful I was able to work with such a great leasing agent! As far as the rest of the staff they are also great. They checked up on me as we pass through the lobby and ask if there is anything I need and how is my experience. Completely professional. The view and minutes of walking to work are my favorite and I enjoy being so close. Overall the building is stylish and modern and I love the floor to ceiling windows. All In all I find this a great place to live and I'm definitely looking forward to renewing my lease when it is done. Thank y'all!”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“Great office staff, speedy maintenance repair definitely recommend this sky ride out if every one downtown the finishes and Comminuty involvement is awesome. Looking forward to experiencing more resident events!”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“It's crucial to offer a comprehensive and sincere evaluation for the prospective benefit of future residents. I am a heterosexual, well-educated, gainfully employed, reasonably attractive, middle-aged Black American man and the proud owner of a beloved furry Pomorkie companion named Sampson. I can tell you for a fact I experienced zero racism (I think it's horribly lazy and an injustice to call management "racist" just because management clearly did not want that specific individual. Particular, yes... racist, No). Over a period of two and a half years, spanning from October 2020 to May 2023, I had the opportunity to observe the community's evolution during challenging times at what was then SkyHouse, now known as SoDo on , While no dwelling is without imperfections, SoDo demonstrated a committed effort to strike a fair balance. I believe there could be more transparency regarding their security protocols, poor surveillance system accessibility, and the numerous incidents within the vicinity. Also, as mentioned, in times of issues, the management is all for protecting their asset, the building, not so much the tenant. However, a factor in the management's efforts to promote a strong sense of community was what drove these lapses. Mary, who served as the manager during my stay, displayed exceptional skills while tackling these challenges. Though there were isolated incidents where I felt that management placed self-preservation well above my resident concerns, their actions were generally reasonable or at least understandable from a business perspective. In summary, my experience at SoDo on Main was very good. The management team maintained open lines of communication, security was cooperative, and maintenance requests were addressed relatively promptly. The property's central location is unquestionably advantageous. Despite some minor differences, the management team at SoDo treated me fairly, and my overall living experience was highly satisfying. I concluded my lease to focus on selling my house and returning once this significant task is completed. I found Sodo to be a welcoming, caring, and wonderful place to call home for myself and my beloved companion. I look forward to returning to the community in the near future.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“Cool view, apartment spacious, rude and unprofessional maintenance staff. Resident assistants slow to address emergency concerns. Staff was late for my move in . Had me waiting 36 minutes all while the HEAD manager was sitting there. I feel that I have not received the type of customer service that should be in line with “LUXURY” community in an area that’s as pricy as Downtown HOUSTON. Please for all our sake , please do better”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“Great place to live. the staff is friendly and supportive. This is my first place in Houston to live, and I made the correct decision to live here. Beautiful building and surroundings, within walking distance to restaurants and Toyota Center. Overall, it's a great place to live.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“I moved to this property 2 weeks ago and it has been a wonderful experience. Everyone from staff concierge, management, maintenance have been very helpful and nice. I love the location, facilities and would highly recommend this place.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“The Staff here are very professional. I love how quickly maintenance responds to any of our needs. Sodo on main is an actual community, everyone talks to everyone. This is my favorite apartment I’ve been since I’ve lived in Houston, I definitely would recommend this apartment.”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“I would only recommend this complex to younger people as an adult the restrictions give this a college dorm vibe The layout of the apartment proved to be irritating as the closets are small and the kitchen is small It's not designed for people who cook regularly or have alot of belongings even after paying the equivalent of a house in monthly rent”
— 1625 MAIN ST · Houston“Easily the best apartment complex I’ve lived in the Houston area. The residents and staff are amazing people. The amenities are top notch. The social events are varied and fun. My personal favorite is when they schedule a food truck! The location is great too, it’s downtown but far enough away from the north and eado neighborhoods where you don’t hear a lot of noise and you’re away from the crowds, but it’s close enough to those areas you could walk or take a quick Uber to those areas. All things considered it’s been my favorite place to live in Houston.”
