“Nothing gets done around here I wish we had that lady’s nephew that used to help out around here. He didn’t stay here but he would sometimes ask people around the neighborhood if they were having problems with their apartments and he would come and help out and for FREE at that. These guys take all our money and won’t even look at the problem but this young man was a god send he fixed 4-5 months worth of work they could’ve done easily themselves but never bothered. He was truly a blessing but that incident where the maintenance guys were calling him and his aunt the N word in Spanish it was like a light switch clicking on and off that’s how fast he lost it on those guys and started speaking Spanish back to them. I never saw those maintenance guys again or the nephew sadly he pops up from time to time to see his aunt and help but he kind of keeps his distance now as he should because we pay too much money for people to think talking in another language about another race of people. He did say he was going to call ICE and get these apartments on track because it’s obvious what’s going on here. We need people like him in the front office if we want people staying here for years to come I pray I see him again to tell him thank you.”

“I called the office today because the water is massive flowing in our kitchen, Mater bedroom, closets due to the washer hook ups, not draining properly and the massive water is coming in the apartment. I told them this is an emergency, and didn't seem to care. Management did say they were going to send somebody over immediately. You can only imagine what happened next, no one ever showed up at all. The maintenance request was sent a while back about this issue. More reviews on the way. Enjoy your day.”

“If you are looking for a quiet, safe community this is not the place. If you’re planning on enjoying the swimming pool or splash pad with your kids let me tell you this is not the place. Pool area has been closed for years. Maintenance here is horrible if you out a work order in they will close it out and not fix anything. You get charged for trash valet but don’t even come to pick up your trash you have to do it yourself”

Upon going into the office today for resolve with issues the manager once again was very unprofessional and intimidating to me, but Crystal the assistant manager helped me and was able to resolve my matters wonderfully. I appreciate you Crystal.”

“not very well because we don't have security in the apartments the security comes like three times a day and the cameras don't work and they've already robbed us like four times and you tell them the manager and you just go out because we can't do anything the cameras don't work”

“Many, many, many reasons. My top FEW (lots) reasons: 1) Plumbing has issues weekly from the entire complex having no hot water for days, even during Covid. My apartment has been flooded SEVERAL times by nasty toilet water that I was responsible for cleaning up sometimes without the hot water working. Finally, I have given up on my half bathroom and only use my master bathroom but still pay for a 2 bathroom apartment. 2) Trash collection is never picked up as scheduled sometimes they won't if the bag is a little heavy. But dumpster is over filled with food everywhere and flies everywhere and the smell is horrible. 3) The awesome looking pool hasn't been operating in over two summers. 4) My electric circuits pop easy and have no access to fuse box it takes maintenance days to just flip the fuse back so you lose power in certain areas until breaker fuse/switch is turned back on. There's many more issues but these are the most inconvenient. I'm not trying to cause problems but I'm trying to prevent other future tenants from living in this nightmare!”

“There is dog feces and urine smell you cannot even walk outside. So many flies because of the dog feces, urine and sewer always overflowing on the outside apartment management will not help you all they ever do is tell lies we had to report them to the Environmental Health Department because of the sewage. We have not been able to use any of our outside of amenities because of the dog feces in urine. They nice when they help you move in but very rude after you have become a tenant.”

“Let me start here....This place is a joke!!! I've been here since April 2020. I only moved here bc the pricing was nice, what's on the website for pictures looks amazing & it was close to my job!!! What is on the website isn't what you receive when you move in. When I first moved in it was so many issues in the apartment. All the windows have holes them, as if someone was shooting a BB gun at them. Ask to have all issues below fixed before moving in and none of them were fixed at ALL. Olga was my leasing agent and due to COVID-19 it was a face time walk through. Didn't see the apartment until I signed my lease & got the keys. At that point it was too late to give the keys back. I wasn't able to look at the apartment by myself before signing. Now if she is walking through the apartment on FaceTime with me, she should have seen and known all the issues that were in the apartment. Issue #1..the kitchen. The dishwasher wasn't in place and was infested with roaches. When I asked to have the dishwasher removed and put in another she stated she would talk to her manager. Never received a call back about that. The stove wiring is awful it was cooking my food too fast and setting off the alarm in the apartment. First off, the stove only has 1 big aisle for cooking and the rest are small. The aisle would literally stop working in the middle of me cooking. So I would have to shake it to make it heat up again. I've put in so many work orders on the stove and also requested a different stove. They refuse to replace it. They come and fix it so they think and it happens again. Now one of the small aisles is cooking the food to fast. I can have any aisle on 3-5 and it's like it's on high. The cabinet doors don't close all the way. Issue #2...the apartments are infested with gnats, spiders & roaches. I have to put in a request every week/month to have the apartment exterminator come out, thinking that will take care of the problem. Nope, it's not being taking care of at all. Issue #3...my guest bathroom the tub knobs weren't in place and had holes where you turn on the water. The tub is literally painted with white paint. There are also gnats in the bathroom. Guest bedroom...the baseboards where missing and had holes in them. Ask to have that fix before moving in and it's never been fixed. Master bedroom also the baseboards were missing and had holes. The master bathroom sink is also painted with paint and doesn't match what's in the guest bathroom. We have silver handles to turn on the water in the guest bathroom sink but in the master it's totally different. The vents in both bathrooms are leaking water from the AC being on. So basically you have to have the temperature on a certain level so the vents doesn't leak. Put in multiple work orders for that and they so call think they're fixing it but hell no, it still leaks. So I have water puddles in the bathroom and it's causing it to have mold. Issue #4...the flooring isn't leveled at ALL. The walls are 2 different colors in the kitchen and dining area. The bedroom doors squeak and have holes in them. Look like they stuffed paper in the holes and painted over the holes. All the baseboards are dirty and look like they painted over them with the dirt on them. They have changed management 4 times since I've been here. Every time I call about something, no matter who answers the phone, their favorite saying is "I WILL TALK TO MY MANAGER" and you never hear back from them. You pay for trash and pest control but trash is never picked up on the days they're supposed to pick up and the pest control is a joke. If COVID wasn't happening and I was able to find a job I would be out this dump ASAP!!!! I wouldn't suggest these apartments to NO ONE!! The parking is horrible.They assign you a parking spot that's not close to your apartment. They keep the grass cut every week but can't fix anything in the apartment that you request. DON'T MOVE HERE RUN!”

“Let me start off with the fact that this place is the pits. In the past month I have heard over 5 gunshot encounters. They say its patrolled by security but not any neighbor has ever seen someone. Delivery companies like Domino's, Daddy-os, and Jimmy Johns refuse to deliver here. The parking is horrible and are not even up to the standards today. They are made for compact vehicles and you end up parking so close that the person can't get in their car without pushing it out into the road or climbing in from another direction if a big vehicle is there. Not to mention every neighbor i have spoken to has had issues with bed bugs. The lease says no smoking inside and yet people still smoke inside. But when the apartment staff comes to visit my family we get a warning for having smoke. Next the lease says you are suppose to clean up your animal poo on the grass but no one does it. So you end up stepping or worse slipping in it. When you have a maintenance issue, the person doesn't speak english and admits he doesn't have a green card. So this place is hiring illegal immigrants who have no skills. The job they do is extremely poor quality. Infact, it took 4 times them coming out to fix the 3 burners on my stove. This went on for months. Not to mention the power goes out because they hire cheap labor who ends up destroying something while trying to fix a roof. So you have to literally sit here for almost a week with no compensation mind you, no air conditioning in the middle of summer and no way to get a hot meal. Next lets talk about the guy on a bicycle who robs you at gun point that comes around here. The guy who is selling vehicles from his apartment who has several parking spots. The lack of ability to notify the tenants of any change. The numbers on the parking is all messed up. There is no visitor parking. People pee off the second floor balcony into your walk way. Drug dealers are plentiful here. There is someone that lives right next door who sells anything you want. Pills, Meth, Crack, Weed, E. Jesus you can get it all. This place use to be good but now i'm looking to move asap.”

“This place is the absolute worst place to live on earth. I believe there are some bridges that would be suitable. I moved in September 20th. Since that day I have had open work orders. Starting with a leak from the master bathroom ceiling. The leak had growing mold around it. It took 2 weeks and 3 different times for them to come out and repair the leak. This includes them not connecting a pipe and my bathroom was flooded with DIRTY water from above. The apartment had been roach infested. I pay for courtesy trash pick. Only 2 days ago did they start picking up my trash. Through it was reported 6 different times. The ceiling fan in the apartment just fell down out of the ceiling while running. This was due to them installing the fan without a fan bracket. When you ask management why can't these problem be fixed properly and promptly they say we only have 4 maintenance people for the entire property. Does management do anything about compensation? NO! They basically say suck it up. They give an insincere apology and assure me that they are "working on it". Avoid this place like the plague.”

“Truly I don't know where to start. A/c doesn't blow in the master bedroom , my dishwasher have leaked to the master bedroom more then twice causing the bottom of the Sheetrock bubble, Master bathroom tub was resurfaced horrible, I reported it and I still haven't got a call back on what they will do about it, can not even take a bath when coming home from work because all you feel is rocks on you butt and legs. You see maintenance supposedly cleaning the grounds but never pick up trash left around dumpsters, visitors parking is all ways full with unauthorized residents, at least 15 people above me! I know my water is going to be unjust! Smh sadly it's a nice apartment I guess they expected you to just live with no A/c in your room matters we'll charge me for a two bedroom. I took the apartment because it was the only option at the moment but the application process was horrible but I got passed that part now I just feel like I put my family in a situation that should have been avoided. Nice place! But it's not worth the hassle I was put through”

“Omg I am so satisfied!!!! I moved in today and my apartment is so beautiful!!! Everyone in the office is always sweet and ready to assist you. "Luis" is my life saver! He went above and beyond to help me find the right apartment He answered all my questions ,never ignored my calls and made sure my apartment was ---- and span in a timely manner!! Make sure you ask for Luis if you decide to reside here He's the truth !! ????. God knows my new apartment is perfect for me!!! Everything so clean and new looking!! I can't wait to decorate it!!! I'm so happy I moved here!!! The prices are also great. Hitting the exercise room soon as I wake up!! Thanks management!!!!??”

“I’ve been here for a little over a month and I am regretting my decision to move here! Roaches here before I even moved in! Was reassured that this problem would be taken care of... FALSE! My fan is falling from the ceiling in my “master” bedroom and has been like this since the first day I moved in. There are water bubbles in the ceiling in my laundry room which are starting to produce mold and attracts more roaches. Since day one it has smelled like mildew in my unit. The windows are cracked and some of them have gaps so cold/hot air comes through. I just moved in here so all of these issues should’ve been dealt with immediately! Yeah, the office staff is nice, but nice doesn’t fix any of these issues!”

“ADVERTISING IS NICE. STAFF FRIENDLY UNTIL AFTER LEASE IS SIGNED. THEY DISPLAY A IRRITATED ATTITUDE TOWARDS RESIDENT. OUTSUDE IS HORRIBLE. INSIDE TUBS PEELING. BEEN HERE 3 WEEKS. BODY POSTURE AT DESK IS SLUMPED. A LOT OF AGGITATION AND EYE ROLLS. NEVER SEE PROPERTY MANAGER. THE MEN ARE THE ONLY PROFESSIONALS. LADIES GET IT TOGETHER/FIND ANOTHER PATH. LOOKING FORWARD TO COMPLAINTS TO REGIONAL AND HIGHER LEVEL. THEY MAKE THE COMMUNITY LOOK BAD.”

“I've lived here for 5 years and I've never had any major issues. The parking sucks, and the trash dumpsters are always overflowing, but overall I like living here. I've lived in 3 different apartments and I've liked them all. I've never had issues with the office staff, minor issues with maintenance but no biggie, security is on property, haven't had issues with any neighbors, and it's nice and quiet where I live. My only complaint is that you're required to pay $20 a month for valet trash service. IDK maybe I'm just lucky, but I'm not moving out anytime soon.”

“THIS PLACE IS BEYOND HORRIBLE!!!!!! First off you can never speak to the manager. She's either in a meeting or on property. They can never tell you why your rent is one amount one month and a totally different amount the next month. I've been here for a little over a yr and nothing has been fixed literally. I call damn near every day to see if someone is going to come out and fix the problems that I'm having and all I get is "I'll send someone out today" and I'll never see anyone. Then they tell you that they have emergency maintenance for after hours and I have still yet to see them either. I have a broken sliding door to where it doesn't lock, I have mold growing in my hallway, I have two leaking bathroom sinks, I have a cabinet that's about to fall through, I have a leaking ac that has caught fire and put a big hole in my ceiling and still NO MAINTENANCE. All this going on and still harass for the rent and even when you owe a balance of 25.00 they will threaten you with 3 day vacat notice or even an eviction. They should just really shut this whole place down and redo it and get some people in the office that really care about your well being instead of a ------- paycheck. And if I could rate this place with zero stars I would.”

“This place is the ------ to the T. It has been a nightmare since day one. Cabinets do not close because the company just painted over them for their "remodel". They showed me one apartment and then when I went to sign the lease they gave me another. The woman that work their in the housing office do not care about the people living here. I got towed while moving in because there is absolutely no visitor parking here. Everybody is lying on how many people are living in their apartments an taking all the visitor parking. No matter what there is trash over filled and on the ground. They said the gates would be working still not working, the pool would be ready and it's not ready, and they were re doing the parking lot which is code for painting it. There is always someone drinking in the parking lot until 3am blarring tejano music because they don't care about the people who live around them. Kids with no supervision running around busting windows de facing property. They have a dog poop stations that have Corona bottles filling them up so there is dog crap on the grass at all times. The list goes on. I can't wait to move out of here. These apartments need to be torn down and have $300,000 houses built so the neighborhood could become a better part of society because this place is killing the community as a whole.”

“There's not enough dumpsters for people to throw trash and trash is always on the floor. Not enough parking. People don't clean after their animals. Neighbors are nice and some aren't. We hear gun shots sometimes. There's roaches, nearly 10 in each of my 7 friend's apartments. Other than that I like them.”

“Looks are deceiving. I lived at this apartment for 4 yrs and within that time frame it changed ownership twice and management team 3.5 times. It took a year before I got my inoperable dishwasher change. I had to replace wall light switch and outlets in the living room and kitchen out of my own dime. management never returned any calls made to them and that was very much the norm with the second and last management team there. Paid for a special parking space for 6 months unwillingly. The second month into having rights to the parking space I asked management to cancel it because I was never able to park there because every time someone else would be parked in the spot even with the large painted Reserve Parking sign painted on the ground. Within the first month and a half of having the space, I had 15 vehicles towed from my parking spot by Classic Towing which is the towing company hired by the apartment complex to do their dirty work, yet management was slow or reluctant to do anything about it and still kept on charging me for the space I wasn't using. In my last few months of living there I had mold in the guess bathroom and their remedy to the problem, "Paint Right Over It". After months of trying to resolve the issues stemming from the parking spot issue, i made them aware of the fact I would take management offer to leave without an eviction charge on my record. Well lets just say that management words is worth crop in weight for during the moving process they block every attempt at another apartment complex trying to verify my stay at their complex and eventually filed Eviction Notice on me few days after I had left the property. So like I said before, "Looks Are Deceiving".”

“There are multiple people here that actually care about the community. When we first moved in a little over 5 years ago it was a whole different story. Management didn't really do anything. There was trash everywhere and a lot of crime. Now management seems to care. There are monthly resident safety meetings. I often see police patrolling the area. There used to be teenagers out behind the pool doing drugs but I haven't seen that in at least 6 months now (it used to be a daily thing). Is this place perfect? No. I really don't think any apartment complex is but they are working on it. There are community activities, like monthly movie nights and special holiday parties. Neighbors are working to get to know each other so we can look out for each other. I feel part of a community here which is why we have probably chosen to stay now. I have friends here, my kids have friends here and there are a lot of activities for them to be involved in. Also, we live in a town home and constantly when people come over they comment on how nice it is. I mean the outside is kept up quite well but the inside looks like a home too.”

“We moved into a one bedroom apartment in December 2015. We are now moving into a bigger apartment because we need more space and do not want to leave! We love the staff, especially Irene, Christina and Mona in the office. They are amazing! Very sweet, personable, and quick to respond. We also love the staff of Redwood Living. They are really helping to bring the apartment complex together to form a community. They put on events like Movie nights, bible study nights, and holiday celebrations to bring everyone together and "meet your neighbors". We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family!”
