“I had to purchase a refrigerator and air-conditioning because property manager refuse to replace or repair non-working items in this "upgraded" unit. Dishwasher is filthy and does not work. Screens are not on windows or patio. We pay a monthly pest control fee but there are spiders, bedbugs and other parasites in this place. Management monitors who goes in and out of your apartment. Property Manager is extremely rude and actually yells at elderly and disabled tenants. The carpet has never been replaced in my "upgraded" unit it filthy with stains permanent stains. There is no way to buzz your visitors in the gate you actually have to go outside of your apartment walk to the entrance and use the remote you had to purchase. Your visitors have to register their vehicle with a towing company whether they stay 5minutes or 5 hours. You are not allowed to have company over 72hours. Ceiling fan doesn't work, no baseboards on walls. Doors are patched. There doesn't seem to be a corporate office. Very bad place...it so sad, Get rid of the Property Manager things might just get done.”

“I currently stay in these apartment...Tuesday morning my husband & I found mold in the walls from the hall way closet to the master room closet..The carpet was extremly wet..You can push your finger or fist through the wall and the sheetrock came crumbling down.I went in their to talk to her about putting me in a unit and getting me out my lease..She telling me no..She tells us she going excort out the office like we dont pay rent. This ---- is ---- up cause I am marry woman thats 3 months preganant i have 4 year old with asthma and a 2 year old..This ---- aint right..They talking about painting over the mold & putting new sheetrock only patch that part up.. Its strong smell of the mold.. Its mold in the carpet..”

“This apt l stay there for 1 year is a hell bugs bugs where.The highest water bill added to my rent 90 to 100 dollars per month,car towed without my a bad apt without customer relations so rules.”

“Am not happy staying in this apartment. there is no structure at all and the staffs are not nice at all. they can tow your car anytime of the day which is not suppose to be. the water bill is on the high side. bedbugs, cockroaches and cats are allover the places. the maintenance is very poor and customer care is zero”

“This nee tag team manager n assistant managers are trash. Rats, roaches, snakes, bullet holes in the windows. All this and they do nothing. Just today the police had the frint of the apartments looking for a homicide suspects. The apartments are moldy holes under the sinks cats everywhere trash overflowing. This place is a nightmare, no one takes responsibility. We have been begging for working gates. Prostitutes walking around at all hours. I have personally cought 3 ppl having sex by my apartment and ran them off. Not to mention its within 600 ft of a elementary school. You would be stupid to move here. I wish i could give this place negative start.”

“I love management team ! But , apartment owner sucks ! NOTHING gets done . Mold infested apartments !!! Cats everywhere , trash is rarely picked up . Over priced apartments & green pool ????”

“They take no responsibility for anything. the property has bed bugs and they will not do anything about it. The pool has had the same water for about 7 years at least.The water is brown and smells like sewage. They charge a water bill but the amounts are out of control.They charge you based onhow they feel about you and if theres work being done on property, or leaks please know you are paying for that too. They half --- everything an will have you living however. If your ac stops working..oh well you got roaches oh well The area is always on the news and known for death and prostitution. not a place to live or raise kids. They do not even want kids outside. The city has been called out due to reports and the landlord is a THOT”

“U should never move here the pool is never clean the two stupid lady's in the office Nancy and niome are basically taking over the kids lifes telling them to don't do this don't do that I don't hate these apartment I hate the mangment in the office they do a shity Job at everything I see niome walking around doing nothing it's horrible”

“The Carlisle is a nice apartment community. The on-site staff are excellent. My neighbor was a very nice single mom & her young daughter. I recently moved out of state due to my job.”

“Horrible staff starts from management and trickles down. bed bugs, roaches .I wouldn't recommend this apartment to my worst enemy or an homeless person .I hate it hate it hate it hate it!!!!!!!!!!”

“The office ppl stole my packages they tow your cars over there an they take forever to come to fix things in your apartment they say no pets but the manger has a dog”

“I have been here for 4 years office staff is great just love those lady's thay waved my late fees a few times when I fell on hard times they fix maintenance concerns pretty quickly now what I hate is some one always breaking the gate almost every weekend and there is not enough visitors parking spaces and they tow cars like crazy that don't have parking stickers other then that great place to live”

“I felt pretty safe here at first, but managment still has not fixed the fence behind my apt which allows ------ --- pep from SugarBranch tooclimb the gate all hours of the night!!I had it yesterday when I saw a man that does not live here climb the fence and urinate next to my car!Im feed up now & will not sighn another lease until this problem is fixed.Usually Niomi is good about fixing issues in the Carlise.I truly hope this issue is taken care of because I like it here except for this saftey issue.”

“The fence between The Carlisle & Sugabranch in the back where the fence is down is becoming a major issue with me.People are constsntly jumping over the fence.These people are not residents over here & are constantly traspassing allday long and all hours of the night,yesterday a man jumped the fence and urinated on my car!Im feed up now and the issue needs to be taken care of”

“I wouldn't recommend thus place for any one... They have bed bugs!!!! I've never heard of that until i moved here... Brand me furniture ruined....and i think something is always crawling on me now..... The manager doesn't care that there are bed bugs.... Naomi and Nancy will accuse you of bringing them.... They are ride and unprofessional.....they will come in your home with out notice and change your locks if toy piss them off.... There whole family works for the property which isn't bad but it means stuff is half assed..... The carpet isn't new....it is pieced together probably from other units....the ac will forever go out so expect a high light bill....there is no way on or out the gates unless you have agate key... meaning when u have guests arrive instead of them calling u from the gate u have to leave ur house and walk to the front each time and open the gate with the opener that cost 15.... and don't let u have more than one guest..... because out of the whole complex its only 20 visitor parking spaces.... wtf that's not even enough if every apt had one visitor to park... and u will be towed if ur not in visitors.... trust me I know..... they will constantly fix the gates that ppl break but they won't fix the bed bug problem !!! This is for crackheads and prostitutes....I moved after 3 months the area is not safe for women the mills next door had a rapist caught there called the mills rapist... look it up.... and its not safe for kids and teenagers because pimps and hoes walk around trying to recruit.... I know the price may sound right... but pay a little more.... living here ur gonna get what u paid for and then some!!! Don't do it!!!”

“I feel they have came a long way, but they still have a long ways to go, their is no code on the gate so how are youre visitors suppose to get in the gate they have to wait till someone come in are you go to the gate and open with youre car remote, dame shame..they dont tell you to tell youre visitors to park only in da parking area that sayz "visitors" or youre ---- will be towed, so they stuck paying 200.00 just cause they parked in a spot that didnt say "visitors" or cause they park in the line but on the line, even the renter car will get towned if they parked in the lines but on the line..they have only one maintenance man and he barly knows what hes doing and on top of all that they take forever to get the job done. Another thing is, they take all day to fix something but if you dont pay youre rent on time they want to kick you out and put locks on youre doors..while thier apts are very big and the office people are very nice, I wouldnt want anyone I know to stay in these apartments. Oh and the worst thing about these apartments is the hot is off aleat once a month..it's cold as hell out side and we go with out hot water for two dayz..omfg!”

“This property has had so many downfalls and nothing has ever been correct about it. The management company is sad and lazy. The manager herself is not worth the salt she claims she has. Shes very dishonest in every way possible known to man. Along with many other things nothing is fixed and the drugs that run through that property is ridiculous. The management doesn't seem to care at all. For some reason they think they are above doing things in the right manner. Not to mention the red tags that were on the front office door for months. Seven red tags, what property gets that many tags from the city? That says alot about their character and work ethics alone. Its sad, if you have a choice don't make the mistake I did and move on the property that has nothing to with decency or respect. They have people hanging out all times of the night and day. Fights, break-ins and lazy maintenance workers to boot. Oh, and they charge a $200 fee if you are late on your rent or water. This fee by the way hasn't been active on any other property in the houston area. Not that I've found and certainly not by the courts. They cater to only their race and look for any excuse to get rid of all even when compliant.”

“THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING FOR THE MONEY THEY CHARGE TO LIVE HERE. INTRUDERS FROM OTHER APARTMENTS COMING THROUGH GATES THAT IS NOT AUTHORIZED. MAKING THEIR OWN WAY THROUGH. THE COMPANY KEEPS REPAIRING AND THEY KEEP BREAKING IT. HOW STUPID IS THE MANAGEMENT. THEY HAVE HAD FIVE DIFFERENT MANAGERS IN ONE YEAR. POOR ACCOUNTING SYSTEM. POLICE IS ALWAYS THERE AND THEY ARE NOT PATROLLING. IF YOU ARE DESPERATE THEN LIVE HERE IF NOT DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IT'S NOT WORTH THE SLEEP YOU'LL GETTING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT CHECKING TO SEE IF YOUR CAR IS STILL THERE.”

“This place has gone downhill in a major way since they took over. I moved here 3 years ago and this place was a haven amongst hell. Back then, management, maintanence & the groundskeepers lived on site and took extra pride in making the place nice and safe. The Carlisle has changed owners 2x since then and every time they change conditions worsen! I can not take it anymore & I can't wait until my lease is up!!!! Unless you want to deal with broken gates, hair weaves and trash in the parking lot, loud obnoxious ------ neighbors, blatent prostitution & drug deals and constant sirens on a daily basis, don't move here! PROS: Cheap Rent Ample Parking Located Close to Major Highways Small Complex (only 100 units) Large Apt Space for the Price CONS Don't Feel Safe Anymore (blatent prostitution & drug deals on front parking area infront of gates, which are always broken) Loud Neighbors Nonchalant Management Laundry Room & Pool is a Joke! (stay dirty) Must pay Water”

“Yes, the new management company is great. They have fixed the gates and they are doing great things at TheCarlisle Apartments. I would recommend anyone that needs a nice big apartment to move to The Carlisle.”

“The new management company, Chancellor, has done ALOT to the property. The pool had been closed for 3YEARS!!!!!! Chancellor got it up and running, they even threw us a party! They've done some exterior work aswell! IM REALLY HAPPY!! The new office staff are also GREAT, they're really nice and they care about our needs!”

“I lived here for 2 years... The last six months being almost as a last resort. The lady in the office was ------ faaaaaaaabulous! Took a minute for maintenance to fix anything. The gates... lawd... NEVER EVER worked. I don´t recall one time that you´ve ever had to use your code to get inside the gate since it was always wide open! The exit gate was eventually chained. The parking lines were faded so it was go for what ya know... BUT they would tow you if they felt you were over the line! WTF?! A friend of mines woke up one morning to find that her living room was soaked! Somehow when the cleanup crew finished in the apartment behind her, they left the water running in a plugged sink and the water seeped into hers! They came out to vaccuum the carpet but it was wet and damp. Their solution was to turn on all of the ceiling fans and open the patio door! In the same apartment, my friend discovered a bee hive in her living room ceiling! Can´t explain it but there it was. They didn´t call a professional becus it ´cost too much´ so they had maintenance come out with a can of bug spray!!! On a hive of bees! Come on now! I could be here all day with complaints... so I´ll end by saying... unless things have changed... don´t move here!”
