“ALL I CAN SAY THEY WILL HELP YOU IF YOU NEED THE HELP. MS SHARON IS NOT A BAD PERSON SHE HELP ME SO MUCH WITH MY APT SHE COULD HAVE PUT ME OUT LONG TIME AGO BUT SHE WORK WITH ME EVEN THO SHE HAS A MOUTH ON HER ITS NOT BAD THATS IF YOU DONT TAKE IT THE WRONG WAY N THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE ARE VERY COOL YOU JUST HAVE TO WAIT THEY ARE SENDING THE MEN TO FIX THINGS N YOU ALSO HAVE TO UNDERSTAND YOU CANT JUST GO IN THEIR CUSSIN N FUSSIN WONTED SOMTHING DONE RESPECT GOES A LONG WAY THEY ARE FIXING THINGS AND CLEANING IT UP I DONT HAVE ANY PROMBLEMS WITH THE APTS ALL NO NOSIE AT NIGHT THESE APTS ARE NOT BAD AT ALL IF ANYONE NEEDS A APT I WOULD SEND THEM HERE I CAN GO ON N ON BUT I REALLY DONT LIKE POSTING THING TO ME THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE N I ENJOY LIVING HERE:):):):)”

“I live at this apartment complex and the only person who did any thing was Sharon the assistant manager Vanessa always send her husband to do work orders in people apartment and thing come up missing.”

“I have been living in the property of almost three years now nothing is ever done to my apartment like they said they were I recently went to the office and talk to the lady that was there all she said was iam send some one over they did but the maintance guy just went and said that he was going to come back but never did that's the second time he says he's going to come back and never does and he always looks like hes under the influence on drugs and its been like a week n he hasent came back I went to the office again to complain and told the so called assistant manager she was just really rude raising her voice at me on top of that they say that there going to clean the property but yet I have seen the lady in the office and one of maintance buying drugs in the property they think us the resident don't see what's going on but we do I wouldn't have someone work on the property who consumes drugs and doesn't know how to treat the residents with proper aditute”

“i have lived in this property for almost three years now. my appartment hasent beeen fixed like they said it was. it takes them months just to come in my appartment and when they do the maintance guy looks like hes really under the infulince of drugs. on top of that he dosent even fix anything he always says he going to come back to fix the leak and never does and when i go and complain to the office i went sytraight the the assistant manager and she acted like she dident even care and was really rude . all she kept saying was i send him right never but yet he never came back and it been 3 days since that i have noticed that they been trying to clean the appartment complex but yet i have seen one of the maintance guy and the lady from the office buying drugs in the property in a white truck they think people dont see anthing but we do if they want to get rid of drugies in our property first set an example and then open ur mouth you should be ashamed of half of the things you do . really bad assitant manager and maintance people”

“FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE EVERYTHING(EVEN WHEN THERE OVER THE PHONE)!!!!! I CALLED THE OFFICE TODAY TO GET RENTAL INFORMATION AND WAS GREETED VERY RUDELY BY SHARON. ME: HELLO, IS THIS NORTHWEST PINES APTS....SHARON: WHEN I CAME IN THIS MORNING IT WAS....ME:SILENCE LONG PAUSE, I WASN'T READY FOR THE RUDENESS. SO I PROCEED TO ASK MY QUESTION AND SHE PROVIDED ME WITH THE INFORMATION, BUT THE TONE WAS ALREADY SET. AFTER READING THE COMMENTS I SEE WHAT SHE WAS ATTEMPTING TO SAY WAS THE RETREAT AT ETC.... NOTE TO SHARON: YOU HAVE A VERY HEAVY ACCENT/HEAVY TONGUE IM SURE YOU KNOW THIS ALREADY YOU NEED TO SLOW DOWN WHEN TALKING BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE JIBBERISH WHEN YOU DON'T. IF YOU DIDN'T FEEL LIKE BEING AT WORK DON'T COME I'M SURE THERE'S PLENTY OF PPL THAT WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOUR JOB. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: SHARON NEEDS SOME TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NEEDS TO POLISH UP ON HER PPL SKILLS, I FEEL SORRY FOR THE TENANTS WHO LIVE THERE THEY HAVE TO ENDURE THAT NASTY ATTITUDE ON A DAILY BASIS. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WON'T BE VISITING THIS PROPERTY AGAIN SHE SET THE TONE.”

“The leasing management has changed three times in the year an a half that I resided at this complex. Maintenance requests are not met in a timely manner. I had a stopped toilet for a week. I also had leaks in the pipe under the bathroom sink. Busted pipe two times in the kitchen/dining area. I have contacted the TAA and voiced my dissatisfaction with this apartment complex.”

“Northwest pines/Retreat on Roslyn are the most disgusting unprofessional apartments I've lived in. I have a kitchen full of roaches, no matter how clean the house is they are always there. The fall on you while you sleep in your room. They have mice. The manager is rude and racist. You get hot water every blue moon. The judge asked me if I wanted to stay I told him I'd be a fool !!!”

“Ive lived here for about 2 years and im ready to leave, ever since the new management came is its been hell, some lady who works in the office cant even speak correctly she must have some type of special ed issues. also out of no where my apartment has became infested with roaches! its ridiculous ive asked them to go spray but I feel like the more they go the more roaches I get I hate living here but I don't want to break my lease and have bad credit, only reason im not leaving till my lease is over!”

“Hi I lived here for 4 months already and I have made Many complaints about these apartment first Complaints its infested with ROACHES i have ROACHES everywhere in my kitchen,my room, my restroom, and all and they come out when I'm Cooking dinner or when I have get togethers in My house...so I don't about you but I can't wait To move out of these apartment They do is bomb out my apartment but that Didn't work and I told them to put me down So somebody can spray some chemical for The Roaches but they never put me down Second complaint is my sink is peeling and It looks nasty and my bath tube and they haven't Done anything about it.... So please DONT move In these apartments”

“Everything start great, but went they change management everything was from great to worst. There's a Indy Lady that her mentality is to rent all drug dealers, prostitutes and junkies, because they are the ones that pay better. From a a family apartment complex became a trash facility the worst can be found there, almost a killing every two months inside this apartment complex. If you complain to this lady she will do nothing at all, you will waist your time, and if you follow everything on the contract to advise that you are leaving the apartment complex, she will make you wait for ever for your deposit. Right now we have been waiting for the deposit for almost 2 months, and they keep telling my wife that they don't find the file. We complain of a lot of things the last 6 months and nothing was fix. We return the apartment same conditions that we receive it, we told her that we were leaving and we did it in writing, she does not have any excuse for not returning the deposit. So i think to get the deposit we have to act legally. Think twice before renting on this apartment complex, and management not honest at all.”

“I am one to never do this but after what I have been through in this neighborhood looking for a home...here it goes...I went to three other complexes giving them my money only for them to reject me because I had a broken lease. I was days away from being homeless when I walked in here and met Laura(OMG!) she explained to me how she could help me and she gave it to me in writing! Laura discovered that I had two broken leases but she said she could give me the special (free rent)on the third month...home sweet home! I love my apartment. Yes this complex is in need of some TLC but the staff here are really good and I am pleased to get another chance where I thought hope was all gone Laura gave it back to me...”

“The only bad thing about the apartments is only one way in and out the other washer and dryers has to be The one that go on top of each other. But i like my apartment”

“Don't rent from laura she deceives the public with her second chance around program with broken leases or evictions.She'll ask for a 45$ money order , then she will not return your call, pretend she's checked your credit only to tell you , you've been denied.Okay remember it's a second chance around program ! So potential renter BEWARE!! Don't let it happen to you.”

“I was just about to move over to these apartments....I paid my application fee and had given them my 250.00 deposit when I decided to go look at the apt. that I was going to be moving into in 2 weeks. The inside of the apt. was nice. The outside, not so great but before I could leave the apts., I get a phone call from the management asking me to come in. I went into the office and the manager tells me that she noticed that the last couple of times I had come to the apts., that I was accompanied by a male. I told her that he was the father of my 2 kids but he wouldn't be moving in with us b/c we are no longer together. She then told me that in order for him to come visit me/kids that he needed to complete an application and pass a background check. I told her that he had a felony which happens to be 11-12 years old and she proceeds to tell me that I can't move over there if I plan on having him as a guest. She then gives me my money orders back and tells me to have a nice day. So...if you plan on moving there, prepare to have your guests/family given the 3rd degree.”

“I lived at this compex from 1996-2005. I'm very happy that I got out before the Katrina people starting moving in. Also, the police are always called in for drug arrests and violent crimes. Residents have been murdered,stabbed and shot at. Women have been raped and harassed. If you like the projects, you will fell at home here.”

“Currently my boyfriend lives in Northwest Pines. Over my Thanksgiving break from college I went to visit. A woman was raped and the man was caught and set on fire in the parking lot. Just last night a woman was arrested for God knows what. There are always people hanging around outside and being obnoxiously loud, playing music. The water in the apartment is a slow drip and has yet to be fixed. There is ALWAYS an aroma of marijuana outside and there is usually a group of men lurking through the complex. I dont feel very safe pulling into the apartemnts and I absolutely hate that my boyfriend lives there. The apartment itself is okay except for the fact that there no light fixtures in the bedrooms or living rooms, but there are switches. which i dont understand. Northwest Pines is not a place to live, especially with children.”

“Since I have lived there lets begin!! Lots of fires!! Why who knows and they don't like to fix the buildings! You will have your children playing in glass and nobody there cares. The pool they have was not even open one day before it was shut down. They take forever to fix something. I complained when I moved in almost a year ago and they still haven't fixed it! Well don't rent from these people!”

“I used to live there in 1988 and 1993. The apartments were very well kept back then. My wife and I past by there last weekend. We couldn't believe how run down they have become. I don't recommend these apartments at all to anyone.”

“My family lived there in 2006 and we had a huge nest on the inside of our walls. BEES! we knew something was wrong when we kept getting bees inside of our apt and didnt know where they were coming from. When we complained to the office they did nothing about it. One day these bees really starting coming in like 10-15 at a time we couldnt even go inside..and the mangement team didnt even offer to put us up in a hotel until the problem was fixed. That was the major problem that we had there”

“Northwest Pines has an AWESOME & EXTREMELY UPBEAT staff! They have done nothing but make me feel right at home! I enjoy the convenient location of these apartments and would recommend anyone who wants to be treated like family by the office staff to come and visit Northwest Pines.”

“After 1 week of moving in I discovered a very bad roach problem and holes in my floor. When I told the management about me wanting to leave they told me they would call the cops and child protective services. A whole lot of threats”
