“Lets start from outside. Bats and stray dogs struggle for space in this apartment. You would be greeted with a stench smell of bat urine as you enter into the premises. Stray dogs would be charging at you every now and then. Place is very dirty, cleans up about once in 3months. Gate always hanging open. hoodlums uses the premises to walk across to another street. Dont venture into this apartments if you have good expensive rims in your vehicle because it would be stolen even if you are just visiting for couple of hours. It's that bad. and there is camara pointed at every corner yet nobody has ever been caught!!!!!!!. The maintenance team are mainly undocumented immigrants constantly looking for cover instead of do their work. The majority of people living in this apartment are also undocumented that is why none of then complains to the management about the poor condition of this apartment. the apartment is old so the utilities are in very bad shape. AC, toilets, sewage, just name it, breaks down almost after every use and it would take the maintenance forever to repair it. Hot water is not a guarantee cos it breaks down almost everyday. think of winter without hot water?!!!! ho! that's a small fry for the guys of this apartment. Roaches swam in all the rooms .... The problem with this apartment is too much, I can spend a whole day listing them.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“So I have lived here from 2012-present. I haven't moved because I am saving for a house. Short and sweet you get not even what you pay for here. Sooooooooo many issues. Days without hot water, my air is currently not working and it's been a week now. I've called over and over and over and all I get told is that they will come "today" every single time and "today" turns into daaaayyyssss. My sink is broken, I gave up calling about that after calling for months with no response. I have 2 bathrooms, one which I can not use because the my neighbor down stairs says it leaks into her bathroom... I haven't used my shower in 3 months now. Due to them never coming to fix it. If they do come they never leave a note and the office ppl don't know if they came or not. I can tell if they come because of the mess they leave. It was a quite place when I moved in, not so much now but it's now really loud either just more ppl. Parking is horrible. Not enough spaces and never any visitor spaces ever. The gates are always broken. The office ppl just flat out lie to you. I have tried plenty of times to get to the owner of this facility but the office ppl won't give you the info. Hope one day these apps will do better. Note I have always paid my rent on time every single month I've lived here for the past 5 years. Still can't get things fixed. They will be sure to leave a note on your door if you don't pay but won't come in to fix stuff. Oh I was also locked out before by them because they lost my check. Just don't move here.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“The staff from the front off to maintenance are completely inefficient and apparently suffer no consequences for their complete lack of performance. I submitted my application 3 weeks before my scheduled move in the day of move in came and nothing had been done. They took my deposit when there sign says clearly no deposit and my rent and my apartment was dirty roach and flea infested. The a/c has been repaired 5 times in one month and still goes out refusing to replace knowing it leaks and has caught on fire. Apart from that I rent a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 baths and from my tub to my toilet water leaking backed up and maintenance won't come over 3 hours waiting and no response. I happen to be diabetic and I have to constantly go to the restroom this place is 100% horrible never move here. Save your money, sanity and health this place has caused me sever illness and they have no regard for their tenants. THEY GET A ZERO RATING FROM ME BUT THIS SYSTEM REQUIRES I ENTER SOMETHING.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“Poor maintenance rude management the Manager mariela rude tenant can go for month with no AC they don't care they will tell you to move to out if you complain to much there girl name ererica she will hang the phone”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THESE APTS TO ANYONE!!!! complete s^^t! shootings every weekend from neighboring apt complex, when it rains, the water goes through the apt. but they at like they dont see it. mold grows like crazy and they just paint over it! the only one that ever gets ---- done is diana, daniela is lazy as hell but sure loves to come up with crazy fees from out of her --- when i pay on time every time. and she never wants to show her face to potential residence. a real disappointment moving in here. and my god the maintenance is horrible! they just leave unvacant apartments trashed and kids play in that... the maintenance guys all get drunk pretty much every night and try to flirt with all the young girls here... only one that ever gets his work done is carlos, the guy on his bike singing to christian music and diana if you tell her, she gets on it, if you tell anyone else, forget it they will never come. and these bad --- teenagers come from the apts across to break into apts and cars and ruin property... they even broke into the leasing assistance apt in plain daylight... even police will tell you to never move in there. its not worth it!!! just pay a little more for better quality!!! i cant wait to move the hell out of these apts!!!!!”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“Wen I first put in my application they took 3 weeks to review it and they didn't do it till I was sitting right there... next the apt had no ac unit outside no fridge and it was dirty ...the office lady diana was nice at first now she's just plain annoying ,first she told me my rent was 590 and I payed that for 2 months then later I receive a late payment feee plus the the 60$ I didn't pay ...... my family member put in a application a month ago and they still haven't even looked at it.. she said she has an apt available but she couldn't show it to me...idk y and she was being rude as ---- too... she also asked for cash instead of a money order at one point.. people here are so loud and there's always kids outside alone ohhh and dogs too .... the cleaning lady always walks around with half her --- hanging out .. the office staff leaves to do personal stuff while on the clock .. fire the current office staff and hire professional people not hoes that just apply ..oh and also what's the point of having a required parking permit if pppl park here anyway w/o permit and even one guy double parks to save 2 spaces... only honest ppl is 2 of the maintenance guys”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“I've lived here since 2006! the office changes staff and complex names every 6 months!!!!! there is really something uner handed going on with this complex! nice floor plan lay out! half --- mantienance workers! my ac stopped working in the higheest point of heat! and they told me to run it on 75 until it cool down!!! NEVER WORKED! when i finally moved outi received 149.00 of my depost! still have the chck stubb BUT they reported to the credit agncies that i owe them and refuse to take it off stating that i owe them but i still ha the stubb!!!! if you want a headache every single time you need them then be my guest and live here”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“I'm a former tenant. When I initially moved in it seemed to be a nice townhouse setting. Not too far from the freeway and mall. But soon I began to notice strange things like opening my back patio door to suddenly confront a strange young man trying to open the door to my storage room (where I stored electronics) with the excuse that he was lost; Inside my enclosed patio area, I don t think so. Another time while in my living room, I heard a crashing sound come from outside. I opened the front door to find a broken bottle all over my car hood and windshield. A lady friend of mine once knocked on my door one day and urged me to let her in because a "strange man" had been following her. All that was 20 years ago when I moved out! It surprises me how absolutely nothing has changed except the name, and sounds like it s gotten a lot worse! Pursuit of the almighty dollar before tenant safety still remains a challenge for the office/owners. Well folks it shouldn't come as a surprise that since this complex is located in a long-lasting crime-ridden district that "strange people" of an underprivileged socio-economic group troll the area. Will it be your home they enter next; will you become the next "drive-by" victim as others have addressed in their reviews. Use your common sense; listen to what the others have to say and not the brazenly obvious "shining reviews" written by the office staff themselves...”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“The murder that took place here in July of 2007,on a Saturday morning, was not a drive-by shooting!! It was done at close range!! Very near my front door!! Poor girl!! It was a real eye-opening experience to see her bleeding out from her head and leg after she was shot. I heard five gun shots that morning. It woke me up from a dead sleep. I had just moved in two months earlier before it happened. The apartment office lied to the residents about it being a drive-by shooting. IT WAS NOT A DRIVE-BY SHOOTING. After the incident, they changed the name of the apartment complex to Casa Nube. Please do not move here if you value your life and the lives of your loved ones. The locks on all the access gates have been removed. This leads to all kinds of people entering the complex. IE:Drug lords, murderers, rapists, pimps and all kinds of other low life scum and trashy people. The units are also bug infested.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“NO,no,no if you value your personals and life do not move to Casa Nube (The Hood) there are mad esidents walking around with guns on them, every day there are more than 2 breakins, all of my items were stolen and the plasma TV are the hot items. There is a new manager there that goes missing from the office and why because she is at residents apartment smoking and god knows what else she is doing at there house. To be honest I feel like this place is very discriminating, I am an african american and I sent two of my friend to lease an apartment, 1 -------- and 1 african american to make a long story short, the -------- was shown an apt. my other friend was not, I asked her who told her that and she was able to tell me that a heavy set -------- woman immediately said that they do not have anything to show, just less than 30 minutes they showed my -------- friend a townhouse.. I told them they need to contact someone about that situation and they are.I will be moving out as soon as my lease is up and I pray that everyone reads this including Casa Nube staff, This place needs to be shut down because I am very afarid someone is going to be killed over her.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“It was great to be welcomed by such friendly people. I viewed a two bedroom townhome and I loved it. The floors looked like actual hardwood floors and my own patio is exactly what I wanted.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“The floor plans are great but there are tenats thats making the property look bad, because of the new manger there are making alot of changes and she`s new to the property. Once thats done this will be a great complex to live, and trust me the staff are working very hard and making things happen.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“I just visited Casa de Nube on Bissonnet and was excited to see a Jacuzzi tub in the apartment! The staff was very welcoming and the apartment was beautiful.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“So...I chose my own apt (1-1.5 townhouse)along side the leasing office, i figured they would keep my area clean. They did. But after I signed my lease I view my apt. It was a funky mess. Terry said that she saw it and it looked fine. Ya'll I dont play about my money. So I came home for lunch and made her walk through my apartment with me.No floorboards(they ran out,was told they would be put in when they were delivered). I had a huge dent in my living room, former tenant dog chewed 2 window panels and stair case. Paint job was a horror. Railing was loose from the wall. I immediately went to mgmt. Response time was impeccable, dent was fixed, entire apartment repainted, dog's teeth marks were filled in and painted, new kitchen faucet. Only they had no floorboards for months. In the 15 months I have been here, there have been 4 managers. One wasnt here long enough for me to even know here name. When I first moved in it was great, quite, plenty of parking. that all changed in four months. No parking at all. Mass crowds. The highschoolers were cool. They hung out at night but they stayed near the pool area (benches and tables) or at the exit gat. I didnt mind they were gone between 9-10 pm.My cuz parked her car ont he street(i would never, not even in uptown) and a window was busted out (nothing stolen). And again inside the complex. My house was broken into nothing stolen not even money i had laying around (small bills but oney is money 10's and 20's). Cop's think that the perps were looking for a former tenant. done. They took away more than alf of dumpsters on site (stupid idea). One writer said they didnt have a pool, she lied and long before i got here they had a tennis court (replaced by new leasing office). I hated my neighbors, they were quiet at first and then they just lost it. Then had the nerve to get anoid because I called the police on them twice for noise violations after 11 p.m.Everybody else is cool, they stay to themselves. Alfonse just kicked out a bunch of dead beats so there are a lot of vacancies. They are trying to up grade the complex so there has been a rent increase (it's not worth it to me to stay). I havent seen security much but I dont linger outside to know, i go to work ad go home. Maintenance has always been good to me. A/c went out on me, i called it in at 5 and i was chillen by 6:30. The other they fixed while i was at work. Now they is plenty of parking. Yes, there is drug activity but that everywhere even at your childs school public and private. No im not or ever been on drugs. There is talk of a new fitness center but, when i moved in the leasing center was supposed to be finished by march. But they didnt even survey the property until may. Theleasing offcie just opened 2 months ago, so unless you plan on holding out for the fitness center forget about it. I do think that Casa Nube does have the potential to grow and select better tenants and become an amazing property , but if I stay here I may not live to see that day. If you just come out of a rough patch (like me) or are just starting out its an okay place to start. At the end of my lease (fastly approaching) I would have been here 18 months. Hope this helps. p.s. these rates are current as of 3/11/09”
“At first I thought it was an ok apt until I moved in an seen what it was like. I liked the convienient location, and the floorplan was nice. But i didnt know what i was in for. When the management changed, the apts went downhill. They stopped upkeeping the apts and destroyed all of the amenities. I have lived here for 18 months and i have not have a good experience. I paid like 500 for a crappy 1-1.5 townhouse with a major pest problem. When you contact the office for this, they never respond unless you keep bugging them. The office clientele are very rude, and they just want your rent. They barely know english. Residents constantly move in and out because of the hell hole that this place truly is. The parking is great because no one doesnt want to live here. Dont park on the street because your car might get broken into. The security is so harsh, they treat the resident as if they are a criminal because of such the bad crime. I heard gunshots, ambulances, and police busts all night. When my lease finally ended, i was so glad to get out of here. If you want a place with no amenities, bad office personnel, and that cant assist you because they cant speak fluent english, and a ------ enviornment with drug trafficking all night and day, this is the place for you! By the way, this place is too overpriced! I hope you make a wise decision about not moving here.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“Place has made a HUGE improvement in the last few months, Extreamly quiet, doing nice upgrades, fast responce with mantinance. Staff is great and very helpful, they also have security on the primeses. The rent is very good price also. I am very very pleased with this complex, I live in the 2bd townhome....NICE!!! (1400sqft AND ONLY 2 BD ROOM!)<---I Recommened! Looking forward to the many changes I know are to come. Keep up the good work!”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“Really nice place to live. The property is well taken care of, off the main streets, nice big tree. New management has redone pool area and added new pool furniture. I have ceramic tile in my apartment, which I totally LOVE! New office and maintenance staff have really made BIG difference. They are very friendly and helpful! Nice clean grounds.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“I love it here, nice people, very friendly.....well recommended!!!”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“i definitely would not recommend anyone to stay here. the security officers harrass you if you out at night, they have the nerve to go up on rent and charge high prices ffor parking spaces, and the staff isnt friendly at all. I am finally getting the hell outta here and i will NEVER EVER LIVE HERE AGAIN. NEVER STAY HERE; YOU WILL REGRET YOU SIGNED THAT LEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“I finally moved out of Court Glen Place apartments after living there for a very long time. The place was nice at first, but it went from nice to ------ to sub ------. The last 2 years the place went from bad to worse. The final straw came after the new owners took over the place. I found this out suddenly when I had a maintenance emergency, and afterwards the police were called to my apartment saying that they told them that I threatened the maintenance personnel with a pipe. The police did not make a report about this when I later went to the police station to press charges against the owners/management about making a false report. These new owners harassed us and threatened to evict us for complaining about our apartment. For the past couple of years I had problems with gnats all over my apartment and the management refused to do anything to remedy this problem. The new owners are more concermed about making more money from the residents of this DUMP!!! They have recently erected new carports that are reserved for an additional $25 per month per vehicle and charging $20 per vehicle per month for reserved spaces, which I doubt would be enforced. The new owners have placed signs advertising the place in Spanish and are now catering to the illegal aliens that are now renting in the complex. 3 weeks ago I was awakened by 3 gunshots and found out later that evening on the TV news that a young woman was murdered very close to my apartment. That evening I found a notice stating that there was a drive by shooting, that was no drive by shooting, especialy when the body was found between 2 buildings and no way for an automobile to drive to that spot. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!!! STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS DUMP CALLED COURT GLEN PLACE APARTMENTS!!!!!!!!!!”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“I have been a resident for two years, and i finally see a change. There or no one hanging outside playing loud music. The security is up on there game.No one can hang out at a certain time. The maintenance crew has improved {CHRIS is great}Keep up the good work.I wrote the last entry about the poor service and me going to the media ;However things here has really changed for the better.I feel safe going to my car,the office works and lawn crew has improved. I will be signing another lease. This seen unreal and I hope it last.thanks for all the improvement.CANDYCANE”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“i would not recommend anyone to stay in court glen. the office staff is not helpful, it is not pleasant to walk there, they dont want to fix anything that goes wrong in your apartment, and there is a major pest problem. I have been here for eight months and am ready to move even if i break the lease. the staff doesnt care about your safety and the mailboxes and gates are always broken. They tried to renovate the place but it still sucks!!!!!!!! If you are worried about your life, please DONT MOVER HERE!!!!”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“I MUST SAY THAT COURT GLEN IS NOT THE PLACE TO LIVE SPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS.THE MANAGER BETTY IS A BIT.... THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE RESIDENTS SAFETY, THE PLUMBING IS IN NEED OF MAJOR WORK, AND THEY NEED PROFESSIONAL STAFF ONLY. THE CRIME IS OUT OF HAND. THERE ARE NO REAL SECURITY (COURTESY OFFICE) THAT STAY IN DOORS ALL THE TIME NEED HPD BACK I CAN GO ON AND ON BUT I DONT HAVE MUCH ROOM LEFT.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“There was a time that I enjoyed my apartment. My office staff was competent. That has disappeared when the manager Mrs. Hayes left for Iraq. I understand now why she left. The place is falling to the ground. The office people should not be allowed to work at Jack in the Box. They are so rude. i moved here in 2001. The staff made a major improvement and I was happy about that. Now I need to move. I can not live here another lease. The main managers need to know they have issues in there and correct them. Maybe they can get a more qualified staff that does not date the residents. So many of my neighbors have moved out and I am next.”
— 9700 Court Glen Dr · Houston“Court Glen Place has really gone down since the old office staff nad crew has left. The new staff was one of many reason that I moved out, they allowed anyone to move in and destroy the property in the last 6mos I did not feel safe and I feared for my life...”
